Our card this week is Lois West, the Ace of Hearts from Virginia.  One morning in August 1986, a contractor showed up to work on the floors in a vacant house in Williamsburg, Virginia. When he arrived, he found a woman on her side in the mostly-full bathtub. In December of 2024, I shared an episode about a 24-year-old musician whose life was cut short in New Haven, Connecticut in 1990. More than three decades later, the murder of John Evers Robinson remains unsolved and the questions surrounding what happened to him have only grown more complicated with time.I'm bringing this story back because it needs your attention and action in a new way. A vigil last Friday on the east side of Indianapolis remembered those lost under the Trump administration's immigration crackdown. Several protests against ICE and immigration enforcement were organized over the weekend in Indianapolis.
