The event included a playback in Dolby's Soho headquarters screening room and was preceded by a Q&A of people associated with the album, both old and new. Kris Needs (journalist and friend of the band), Django Holder (engineer who did the Dolby mix), John Jackson (owner of Jackson's studios where the album was recorded), Sally Freeman (John's daughter and runner during the album recording) and all hosted by Howard H Smith. Dead Groove began as a pandemic collaboration between drummer Fred Aching and bassist/vocalist Holly West has evolved into one of the scene's most promising acts. The band, completed by guitarist Cesar "Cags" Salaverry, brings together decades of professional experience, including West's current role with Zepparella, Salaverry with the Peruvian band Mauser, and Aching's performances with Kings of Thrash alongside David Ellefson, Powerflo and Bullet Boys. And so, our entire company needs to be focused on how do we create more value for customers? How do we deliver more value? How do we communicate the value? But we spend all this time creating, communicating value, pricing is the one thing that we do that captures the value that we're able to create and communicate. So, when a buyer chooses to buy our product, they pay the price that we're asking, and that happens to be the transaction value. That's how we capture the value of what we deliver to our customers. It is Hump Day on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show. There are people in LA that are still upset with Lil Wayne. Fans say they are upset that Wayne was three hours late and then he left the stage and did not return. Lil Wayne said that the audience being non-responsive is the reason he left the stage. Rickey Smiley said he sure did leave the stage before and sometimes the audience is the blame. Three NYPD cops have been charged for stealing nearly three thousand dollars worth of Ace of Spades champagne at a music festival last year. There is no telling what they stole in the past, but good thing they got caught. The RSMS Crew congratulated Kierra Sheard Kelly and her husband Jordan Kelly on their first baby after a series of miscarriages. Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann from RHOA are getting a divorce after twelve years. There are also reports that a lot of the money that they had is gone. Games people play: we've all been guilty at one time or another, whether intentionally or not. I'm referring to the disingenuous forms of communication we use in daily life. There are various reasons why we alter our communication in certain situations, and it's usually because we want something from another person. I'm joined by Heidi Smith, LPC, and one of my best friends, who just happens to be my former supervisor when I was learning to be a therapist. Let's dive deep into games, manipulation, boundaries, and relationships. Join us for the conversation around this fascinating topic! Why attention-seeking behavior might really be connection-seeking behavior The “games” people play: The trump card, (the “Ace of Spades”), is the issue, trauma, circumstance, or affliction that someone believes gives them carte blanche to never have to change and to always be accommodated by others. Examples: ADHD, PTSD, a serious illness Some people learn the script to say that excuses them from accountability, like “I'm working on it.” Even with their objectionable behaviors, people deserve and want to be loved and accepted.
