J-Bunny sits down on Skype with Tru Payne Roberts, bassist for The Lonely Ones and guitarist for Girl Fox. They discuss how Tru joined the band Girl Fox, their brief offshoot as Juvenile Jones, and how he came to join The Lonely Ones. They also discuss why Tru plays bass in The Lonely Ones instead of guitar, the confusion fans seem to have about The Lonely Ones and Bobaflex being separate bands, and why The Lonely Ones' new full-length album is only available physically. J-Bunny and Tru also discuss the band's plan for the new tracks on the album moving forward, how frontman Marty McCoy moving to Florida has impacted the band's activities, the difficulties about being in multiple bands, and Tru's thoughts on the music industry. On an odd note, the episode ends with J-Bunny and Tru discussing the restrictive legislation that dictates how breweries are allowed to operate in the state of New Jersey. Podcast intro "Rock Intro 3" courtesy of audionautix.com. "One More Time Around" and "Don't Cry for Me" both appear on The Lonely Ones' self-titled album and are also available to stream online as singles. Both songs were included with the permission of Tru Payne Roberts.
Scheduled guest "Tiger King" Joe Exotic was supposed to call in from prison but unfortunately had his phone privileges revoked. So, Johnny gave an impromptu call to his friend Marty McCoy from The Lonely Ones and Bobaflex. They talk a little bit music and a lot of current events.

Post Date: July 28, 2021 J-Bunny sits down on Skype (while drinking beer from Ghost Hawk Brewing Co, of course) and talks to Jymmy Tolland of the bands The Lonely Ones and Bobaflex. They discuss how Jymmy came to join Bobaflex as their bass player in 2014, whether or not it was difficult stepping into an established band, and why most of the members of Bobaflex started the band The Lonely Ones in 2019. They also discuss how it's been trying to launch a new band at the start of a global pandemic, what fans can expect from a Lonely Ones live set, and why it doesn't make sense for The Lonely Ones to release an album right now. Jymmy also explains why the band started a Patreon, whether or not we may see more music and shows from Bobaflex in the future, and talks about other bands that listeners should be aware of. Podcast intro "Rock Intro 3" courtesy of audionautix.com. "Dyin' All Night Long" and "Gettin' High" are both standalone singles by The Lonely Ones. Both songs were included with the permission of Jymmy Tolland.
Post Date: July 20, 2019. J-Bunny sits down with Ron Underwood in the parking lot of an undisclosed retail establishment that sells coffee and donuts. They discuss how Opiate for the Masses formed, how they came up with the name, and why the band wound up breaking up. They also talk about the formation and ongoing career of 9Electric, the surprise announcement that their tourmates Bobaflex would be breaking up, and Ron gives his thoughts on the current situation surrounding Static-X. Podcast intro "Rock Intro 3" courtesy of audionautix.com. "God and Man" and "The Light" (featuring Carla Harvey of Butcher Babies) both appear on 9Electric's album Megalith. Both songs were included with the permission of Ron Underwood.

In this episode of Bauman's Breakdown, Bauman chats with Bobaflex guitarist & vocalist Marty McCoy. The two discuss the band's latest album "Charlatan's Web," touring, being on the road with close friends Royal Bliss, and finding success as a band despite a lack of overall support from the music industry. Also, Matthew McConaughey makes a comeback on the show (Er, Bauman doing McConaughey), while producer Mike Jameson gets nostalgic on his Pandora playlist and wanders off into a myriad of jams from his mullet rocking, acid wash wearing, DJ spinning glory days of the early 1980s.
