    Happy Hump Day, yo! We got a ton of rain during the overnight which makes me wonder why I watered my lawn yesterday in the afternoon??? Derp. Anyway, speaking of water...we had a few news stories about water this morning. One was about the flooding at Zion National Park, and the other was about a private water line for a data center that leaked over 3 million gallons of water. Also in the news this morning, Tony Romo plead "no contest" to his DUI, more info on the deadly stabbing incident in NYC earlier this week, a 14 year-old girl who got pregnant by her own father, Dolly Parton's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is getting replaced after it was vandalized, and Bonnie Blue gave birth. In sports, the Brewers bounced back and got a 9-4 win over the Cubs last night, the Packers have NOT seen the footage in the Josh Jacobs case, the Vikings sign Kyle Van Noy to the practice squad, Keenan Allen should be on the field for the Colts in Week 1 after his recent DUI arrest, a look at the upcoming NCAAF schedule, and the Angels are finally getting sold to Stan Kroenke. We talked about what's on TV & streaming today/tonight. Plus, the guy who does the announcing on "Wheel of Fortune" is suspended, and a documentary about Matthew Perry is coming to Netflix in October. Brian recently found out some very interesting things about some of the people living in his neighborhood and is now wondering if he's gotta move. Elsewhere in sports, an updated on the college football running back who died after suffering a seizure on the sidelines, a coach from "Last Chance U" gets fired, a high school football team refused to participate in a pre-game handshake, an Arizona school district cancels it's entire season, and a wild brawl between youth football coaches in Pennsylvania. A principal of a school in Nepal reacted quickly and saved hundreds of lives from that recent flooding, and a class ring was found with a metal detector & made it's way back to the original owner! In the news this morning, the FBI raided the home of former US Representative Eric Swalwell, the creepy masked man in Philly has been identified…but not caught yet, the boat captain in NY who was piloting the boat that capsized & killed a mother and her baby has been arrested by ICE agents, an updated on the Karmelo Anthony case, a bunch of gold was found on a job site in Belgium, a Wisconsin man was looking for some "hypnotists" while he was holding another man hostage at a Meijer grocery store, and another scientist who worked on the Pentagon's UFO program claims to have seen FOUR different alien species! In sports, the Brewers beat the Mariners again yesterday to take two out of three from Seattle, a recap of last night's NFL action along with a look at the rest of this weekend's schedule for week 2 of the preseason, the Cowboys & Saints got fined by the league for fights at joint practices earlier this week, James Harden signs a new deal with the Cavs, the Lakers sale is getting a bit messy, and the NHL is playing a couple of regular season games in Germany this upcoming season. We talked about what's on TV & streaming this weekend along with what's new in theaters.     I think today's sinus issue is worse than yesterdays. Granted…I'm not coughing as much as I was and I'm also able to breathe through my nostrils finally. But the drainage going on from my nose is a real problem this morning. I'm constantly blowing my nose and the tickling sensation in the upper part of my right nostril is causing my eye to constantly water…and it makes me feel like I have to sneeze every few seconds. What a mess. But enough about my problems! It's Hypothetical Thursday so we asked each other some questions. Jean asked me: "If you could bring back one brand, restaurant or store that no longer exists...what would it be?" And my question for Jean was: "Being that it's National Radio Day, what's your dream radio job...and what's the craziest thing you've ever done in radio?" Office Cora also joined us to talk about what she's up to this weekend in the 715…and she also had a hypothetical question for us: "If you had to get rid of beef, pork, poultry, or seafood for the rest of your life...which would you choose?" In sports, the Brew Crew got beat by the Mariners yesterday, Week 2 of the NFL preseason kicks off tonight with a couple of games, the Saints are going to be without Alvin Kamara for awhile, Jayden Higgins of the Houston Texans is done for the season with an injury, Vita Vea gets his contract extension, and Jack Pugh's cause of death is reveavled.     Back to the grind. After another busy weekend, here we are…at work. Again. Not only that, but I must have slept wrong and my shoulder is all out of whack and in a ton of pain. Had a very successful charity golf outing on Friday. Spent Saturday morning doing laundry & mowing the lawn…ran a few errands…went to the Speedway for the Smash-O-Rama. Then we had another parade yesterday with the Oktoberfest Grenadiers. I'm pooped! In the news this morning, a news anchor from Iowa quits live on-air, a new Miss Wisconsin is crowned, an airline passenger bit another person on the plane and was allegedly trying to fight everyone on board, another idiot tourist got too close to a bison at Yellowstone Park, In sports, the Brewers dropped two out of three to the Braves this weekend but managed to get a 9-4 win yesterday, Pat Murphy is getting a couple of procedures in the next few weeks, Team USA beat Australia on Friday & is on to the round of 32 in the World Cup, Corey Heim got his first NASCAR win yesterday at the Naval Base, and Wyndham Clark won his second U.S. Open this weekend after leading the tournament wire to wire. We talked about what's on TV today/tonight and Brian started watching a couple of shows on Netflix this weekend, including "Michael Jackson: The Verdict" and "Trust Me: The False Prophet" Are Dogs > Cats? Some new research may show that cats don't relieve stress as well as dogs can.
