On this episode of Happy Hour, Chris tells Alex about how he loves listening to scary stories before bed and decides to tell him a scary story that occurs during the War in Afghanistan. Then, Chris tells Alex about what he thinks is the creepiest episode in the Power Rangers universe (it's called Rescue Mission from Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy). Also included: the joy of going to Blockbuster and staring at movie covers and their thoughts on why humans crave the unknown.Follow us on social media:Instagram: https://instagram.com/happyhourwiththehamiltonbrosTikTok: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMdbwMWV1/Twitter: https://twitter.com/hamiltonbrospodFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/HappyHourHamBros/Our website: https://www.hamiltonhour.comTheme song by Austin AcYd. Buffy S3 E15: "Consequences"/Gilmore Girls S3 E15: "Face-Off" This week's full of jealousy, secret keeping, secret rendezvous, and tattletales. Buffy and Emily can no longer contain their emotions/secrets and out Faith and Trix for hiding a murder and a secret lover, RESPECTIVELY! Rory and Willow are sad to find out their former flames have moved on. Too late ladies! Ya messed up! You coulda had those guys if you really wanted to! Lorelai's simultaneously doing damage control for Emily and Rory. Angel's simultaneously working as a crime scene investigator and a therapist. On this episode of Happy Hour, the Hamilton Bros discuss 80's children cartoons they fondly remember watching, including ‘Rambo: The Force of Freedom' and ‘RoboCop'. Gilmore Girls S3 E14: "Swan Song"/Buffy S3 E14: "Bad Girls" Never thought a ladle would be what linked the 2 episodes, but here we are! Whether it be slimy demon or swan, our heroes must do what they can to defeat some particularly nasty water beasts. Rory & Jess AND Faith & Buffy seem to be bonding more than ever, but will fundamental differences in their worldviews strain their relationships beyond repair? While Emily manages to convincingly fake some respect for Jess, no one even TRIES to respect new watcher, Wesley. And while Lane struggles to keep her relationship hidden, Balthazar exposes... SO so much. Buffy S3 E13: "The Zeppo"/Gilmore Girls S3 E13: "Dear Emily and Richard" Interestingly, both shows told 2 simultaneous stories, showing things in characters lights - Xander as a hero, and the Gilmores in a sepia tone. Luke overthinks his date with a lawyer, while Xander has an impromptu date with a woman who was likely raised by cars. Despite Jess's best efforts, only one of the dates ends in sex, but not with either aforementioned woman. While Rory takes on a demanding job as a personal labor assistant, Buffy reminds us HARD that Giles is fired as f*ck. Bryan's been learning about reproduction from a "doctor" at a bus stop, and Sherry screwed up!Introduction - 0:00Buffy S3 E13: The Zeppo - 3:19Meanwhile on Charmed - 29:37Gilmore Girls S3 E13: Dear Emily and Richard - 32:39The Winner - 1:08:22Don't forget to follow us on social media for more Buffy/Gilmore content as well as other comedy content.YouTube:Bryan & StaceyInstagram:@gilmoreslayer@bryanandstacey@BMofunny@staceykulowTikTok:@gilmoreslayerTwitter:@gilmoreslayer@bryanandstacey@BMofunny@staceykulowFacebook:Bryan & StaceyBuffy the Gilmore SlayerCheck out bryanandstacey.com to find out what else we've been up to, or email us at: bryanandstaceyreviews@gmail.comTheme song written and performed by Louie Aronowitz @louiearonowitzSupport the show (https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/gilmoreslayer)

Gilmore Girls S3 E12: "Lorelai Out of Water"/Buffy S3 E12: "Helpless" Wow! It's our 50th episode! Bryan celebrates by confessing some wild things he did to impress the ladies pre-Stacey, and Stacey celebrates by forgetting the details of a beloved fairy tale. Rory and Lane celebrate one of the many Korean marriages they've apparently been attending this whole time, while Buffy celebrates her birthday by almost dying in a Saw house. Lorelai and Giles disrespectfully lie to Luke and Buffy, respectively. Honestly the shit Giles does to Buffy is pretty messed up, and he feels almost as bad about it as Lorelai does about the actual fishing part of fishing. Buffy S3 E11: "Gingerbread/Gilmore Girls S3 E311: "I Solemnly Swear" The internet doesn't think very highly of these episodes, but we'll be the judge. Lorelai may have to lie under oath to appease her mom, meanwhile Buffy's nearly put to death for being completely honest with hers. Gilmore Girls S3 E10: "That'll Do, Pig"/Buffy S3 E10: "Amends" It's Christmas in July, and our characters are celebrating by rekindling relationships with estranged loved ones, getting surprise visits from Grandma, and of course confronting literal demons from their past until the snow saves them. Buffy S3 E9: "The Wish"/Gilmore Girls S3 E39: "A Deep-Fried Korean Thanksgiving" The Gilmores must struggle through FOUR Thanksgiving dinners, and let's just say a familiar face from Sunnydale is ALSO hosting a dinner party. Cordelia wishes a certain powerful female out of her life, while try as she might, Lorelai can't seem to wish away her parents. Lane successfully executes a ruse involving her love interest (whose name Bryan totally remembers). Cordelia executes a less-thought-out romantic ruse (involving making boy jealous by having another boy look at her teeth.) BREATHE (2am) everybody, because we FINALLY made our way to Seattle Grace… we're talking Grey's Anatomy and our favorite good women in a storm. This week we're discussing bisexual icon, and TV's longest-standing LGBTQIA character, Callie Torres and her relationship with Arizona Robbins. CALZONA most definitely faces some ups and downs on this show (don't get us started on the #leg stuff), today we're focusing on the early days of their relationship and specifically Arizona's reaction to Callie being so new to dating women. Is this a ridiculous and hurtful rule Arizona has created for herself, or is she setting a healthy boundary? How can we be a supportive partner to somebody newly navigating their evolving sexuality and do Arizona and Callie provide us any guidance on how to do so? We'll get into all of that… and rant about George O' Malley a bit. Buffy S3 E7: "Revelations"/Gilmore Girls S3 E35: "They Shoot Gilmores, Don't They?" Relationships are strained this week! Not ours; don't worry. Buffy and Rory both get called out in front of everyone for harboring feelings for certain bad boys in their lives. While Jackson and Sookie very publicly disagree about whether or not they should have 4 in 4, Faith privately stews about Buffy, though she insists she's 5 by 5. (whatever that means) Bryan can't comprehend why anyone would watch this dance marathon. Stacey's worried she's made some enemies. And both shows should really brush up on the physical limitations of a 10-minute period. Gilmore Girls S3 E6: "Take the Deviled Eggs..."/Buffy S3 E6: "Band Candy" Whether they're being showered with green gifts or being fed to a hungry demon snake, this week, it's all about the babies. Though quite concerned with their children and cars, the teens' guardians display pretty childish behavior themselves. Buffy gets in a car accident that really should have been a lot worse, while the Gilmore Girls cause damage to Jess's car that is somehow way worse than it should have been. Both shows have cops who definitely won't be using their guns. And Bryan has either gone insane or has exposed a dark secret about see-thru phones. If you happen to be in New York City on June 14th, check out Bryan's sketch team The New York Cheeks LIVE at Caveat at 7:30pm.Don't forget to follow us on social media for more Buffy/Gilmore content as well as other comedy content.YouTube:Bryan & StaceyInstagram:@gilmoreslayer@bryanandstacey@BMofunny@staceykulowTikTok:@gilmoreslayerTwitter:@gilmoreslayer@bryanandstacey@BMofunny@staceykulowFacebook:Bryan & StaceyBuffy the Gilmore SlayerCheck out bryanandstacey.com to find out what else we've been up to, or email us at:bryanandstaceyreviews@gmail.comTheme song written and performed by Louie Aronowitz @louiearonowitz

Buffy S3 E5: "Homecoming"/Gilmore Girls S3 E35: "Eight O'Clock at the Oasis" This week, both shows gave us games, disappointing car rides, and a couple of the goofiest scenes we've ever seen. In Sunnydale, Mr. Trick introduces us to a whole bunch of new weirdos, while over in Stars Hollow, another new weirdo, Dwight, just kinda shoves himself into Lorelai's life. Turns out high society tea time politics are almost as cutthroat as running for high school Homecoming queen. Both shows' editors use music to try to make us a feel a certain way about some potential couples. And Buffy may have survived Slayerfest '98, but will Bryan survive Cheesefest '21?Don't forget to follow us on social media for more Buffy/Gilmore content as well as other comedy content.YouTube:Bryan & StaceyInstagram:@gilmoreslayer@bryanandstacey@BMofunny@staceykulowTikTok:@gilmoreslayerTwitter:@gilmoreslayer@bryanandstacey@BMofunny@staceykulowFacebook:Bryan & StaceyBuffy the Gilmore SlayerCheck out bryanandstacey.com to find out what else we've been up to, or email us at:bryanandstaceyreviews@gmail.comTheme song written and performed by Louie Aronowitz @louiearonowitz

The Friday before this episode airs marks the one-year anniversary of The Talkative Introvert Podcast. In celebrations of that, I figured I would do an introvert-related episode. I scour the internet to figure out if being an introvert is a choice. LEGENDS only this week. We're talking America's longest-standing TV couple: Marge and Homer Simpson, with legendary producer, writer, and showrunner of the Simpsons, MIKE REISS. We discuss why he feels the show has been successful for so long, the "rules" behind writing a couple for 30+ seasons on the air, and what is at the core of their relationship despite Homer's MANY mistakes. We kick off this episode with a discussion featuring guest co-host Mitch Lerner who discusses his love for the Simpsons and the role the show has played in his life. We discuss the trope of "forever married" couples on television that will never break up, how seriously we should take Marge and Homer, and his helpful barometer test of when he's being "a Homer" in relationships. What vibe are you bringing into #shotgirlsummer “I’m Yours” or “I Want You to Want Me”, which would make YOU sweat through your peter pan collar? This week we’re talking about Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist and the love triangle between Max, Zoey, and Simon. We’ll discuss the pros of a Max who’s gonna be, gonna be, the guy who’s by your side in life’s toughest moments (hence his sexy Proclaimers cover), whereas Simon is the guy you have an instant connection with, that you can’t get out of your head (hence his sexy “Into You” cover). Then we’ll get into why Zoey has such a hard time choosing between the two, her lack of emotional awareness, and what kind of people are Zoeys in our nonfictional lives.
