Join Wolfie and the panel on Forest Fan TV for a fiery live episode of "Grumpy Old Reds," as we tackle Nottingham Forest's latest transfer news! The big question today: do the Reds have no pull in the transfer market? The recent collapse of the Timothy Weah deal, with the Juventus winger unconvinced about moving to the City Ground despite a €22m agreement, has sparked debate—echoing past struggles with targets like Wolves' Cunha and Eintracht Frankfurt's Omar Marmoush, who also snubbed Forest. Wolfie and the panel dissect whether this reflects a lack of appeal or negotiation issues as Nuno Espírito Santo builds for the Europa Conference League. The Weah saga, where the 25-year-old sought to double his £2.2m salary and remains hesitant, has fueled fan frustration, especially after posts found on X highlight growing concerns about Forest's transfer reputation. With Cunha's and Marmoush opting for other clubs, the panel explores if Forest's status are deterring top talent, or if agent demands and rival interest from giants like Real Madrid and Manchester United are the real culprits. Wolfie weighs in on whether the club's European qualification can turn the tide, or if a rethink in strategy is needed. We'll also cover the latest summer transfer buzz, including updates on Samuel Mbangula's willingness to join, Saba Goglichidze's potential from Empoli, and rumours swirling around other targets. Get in the live chat and share your opinion—do Forest need to up their game, or is this just the nature of the market? Could the Juventus double deal be in doubt? as Timothy Weah unsure on Forest move! For Exclusive Content Join FFTV Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/ForestFanTV Join Wolfie on Forest Fan TV for the latest Nottingham Forest transfer news, focusing on the double swoop for Juventus stars Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula! Reports indicate that 21-year-old Mbangula is keen to join the Reds, drawn by the promise of Premier League football and a fresh start, with a €22m deal (£18.5m) reportedly agreed between the clubs. However, 25-year-old Weah is having second thoughts, reportedly unconvinced about the move and seeking to double his current £2.2m annual salary, casting doubt over the transfer's completion—Wolfie dissects this developing saga. The uncertainty around Weah, a versatile USMNT winger with six goals and five assists last season, adds a twist, as his demand for a £4.4m salary could complicate negotiations, especially with Juventus keen to offload him and Mbangula to ease financial pressures. Meanwhile, Mbangula's enthusiasm—highlighted by his four goals and five assists in 32 appearances—offers hope, but Wolfie explores whether Weah's reluctance could derail the deal or force Forest to pivot. Adding to the buzz, Forest are eyeing Empoli defender Saba Goglichidze as a potential signing, with reports suggesting a £6m-£8m offer is on the table for the 22-year-old Georgian, who's drawn interest from Juventus and AC Milan too. Wolfie breaks down how this centre-back, could bolster the backline alongside Nikola Milenkovic, especially with European football looming.

It's time for The Truth!Today, Sam and Dougie are looking at Juventus - who are currently one point off the Champions League places in Serie A, and have lost three league games all year, but who have just sacked manager Thiago Motta around 300 games into his tenure. Very few teams have drawn as many games as Juve this year, and coupled with decisive losses to Fiorentina and Atalanta in Serie A, coupled with disappointing exits to both PSV and Empoli in the Champions League and Coppa Italia respectively, the Bianconeri board have decided to abandon the project and turn to someone a little closer to home in Igor Tudor. But was this the right decision? Should they have tried to make a project last a little bit longer than three-quarters of a year? Are things going to go back to the Juventus DNA of Allegri? And is there someone else (Cristiano Guintoli) who should be taking a little bit more of the blame than he currently is? Well, The Truth is somewhere in the middle... And remember, if you'd like more from the Rank Squad, including extra podcasts every Monday and Friday (including our weekly Postbox taking a look at the whole weekend of football) and access to our brilliant Discord community, then why not join us here on Patreon?
Edition No118 | 27-03-2025 - Surkov is a useful path to understanding the perverse and contradictory heart of contemporary Russia. Exploring a recent interview Vladislav Surkov conducted with L'Express reveals a secretive, complicated and controversial man. He is known as Putin's Rasputin, the Grey Cardinal of the Kremlin or the Puppet Master. Sourkov is the shadowy adviser who inspired novelist Giuliano da Empoli to write The Wizard of the Kremlin. He can be considered the 'architect' of the Russian political system but who has distanced himself from the man he served for two decades, Vladimir Putin. No one knows what Sourkov is doing today. In the L'Express interview he avoided the question. 1. He is one of the architects of the post-truth worldLong before Donald Trump weaponized the term ‘fake news', Surkov was honing his art. Today, Moscow is using Surkov's techniques to sow political confusion in democracies throughout the western world. A former associate said: “That's a fashion created and nourished by Surkov: this flavour of post-modernism. Nothing is true. There is no truth. There are alternative truths.”2. He rose from nowhere to become the power behind the throne in Putin's RussiaHe invented 'Sovereign Democracy', a system in which the illusion of democratic choice only had one outcome: the continuation of Putin's rule. One former colleague said of him: Vladimir Putin owes much of his success to Surkov's machinations.“At the ends of his fingers he controlled the threads of so many political structures. Those structures were so complicated that only Surkov knew where everything was: the opposition, the political parties, MPs, the governors, the creation or closing of political movements or NGOs, the church, the media, civil society...” ----------LINKS:https://www.lexpress.fr/monde/europe/exclusive-vladislav-sourkov-the-kremlins-wizard-russia-will-expand-in-all-directions-as-far-as-god-WWIE5OJMPVHJ5KTTAHNLE4WPME/?cmp_redirect?cmp_redirect=truehttps://www.ft.com/content/1324acbb-f475-47ab-a914-4a96a9d14bachttps://www.goodreads.com/book/show/39342784-almost-zero----------Easter Pysanky: Silicon Curtain - https://car4ukraine.com/campaigns/easter-pysanky-silicon-curtainCar for Ukraine has joined forces with a group of influencers, creators, and news observers during this special Easter season. Edition No117 | 26-03-2025 - Vladislav Sourkov has been called the inventor of Putinism, and the wizard of the Kremlin. L'Express, a French magazine has published a rare interview, and his first since the start of Russia's war against Ukraine. He has made no public comments on the war ravaging state that neighbors the dictatorships in Russia and Belarus. L'Express anticipates the storm of controversy of interviewing such a controversial figure, and one who can also be said to be the architecture of Russia's genocidal plans towards Ukraine. They justify it by saying this is a unique way to get inside Vladimir Putin's head. Perhaps they are not wrong. Sourkov is the shadowy adviser who inspired novelist Giuliano da Empoli to write The Wizard of the Kremlin. And he can be considered the 'architect' of the Russian political system but who has distanced himself from the man he served for two decades, Vladimir Putin. No one knows what Sourkov is doing today. In the L'Express interview he avoided the question. This interview has merit as a rare document that shows us how Russian power pursues its agenda and thinks long term. The antithesis it seems of the Trump regime. ----------LINKS:https://www.lexpress.fr/monde/europe/exclusive-vladislav-sourkov-the-kremlins-wizard-russia-will-expand-in-all-directions-as-far-as-god-WWIE5OJMPVHJ5KTTAHNLE4WPME/?cmp_redirect?cmp_redirect=true----------Easter Pysanky: Silicon Curtain - https://car4ukraine.com/campaigns/easter-pysanky-silicon-curtainCar for Ukraine has joined forces with a group of influencers, creators, and news observers during this special Easter season.
