Are we seeing the rebirth of Moise Kean after his brace against Lazio, which brings his tally to 5 goals in his last 5 games? Are we witnessing the redemption of Juventus and Max Allegri, and the start of a run toward challenging Napoli for the Scudetto, despite the fact that the bianconeri are currently 10 points adrift of the Neapolitans, albeit now remarkably in third place? Has the criticism of Max Allegri been harsh, given the injuries Juventus has suffered and now fighting back to third in the Serie A table? Should Federico Chiesa be a starter or is he more effective coming off the bench? In the rest of this week's episode, which you can hear by joining the Chronicles Tifosi Patreon community at serieachronicles.com/patreon we discuss... Cristiano Ronaldo's sensational interview with Piers Morgan and whether there is anything to the speculation that CR7 could be rejoining Jose Mourinho at Roma in January. Could it be a match-up that works, or would it be destined for disaster? As well as Jose Mourinho's man management and Roma's problems scoring goals at the moment. Was that a bit of a wobble from Napoli, conceding twice in three minutes when were 3-0 up against Udinese, or was their response to their momentary lapse more evidence of how good this team is? Inter is making a habit of coming back after falling behind, with a win at Atalanta after trailing the Bergamo club. Has Milan declined since winning the Scudetto last season, or are they on track to be the main challenger to Napoli? And how is the relegation battle shaping up, with chances of survival already looking bleak for Sampdoria, Cremonese and Verona? Will we be seeing the Genovese clubs trade places come the end of the season, with Samp only managing 6 goals in 15 matches in second-last place and Genoa currently sitting third in Serie B? ****** Sponsor the show: serieachronicles.com/sponsor. ****** We recommend: Ignition: The world's first client engagement and commerce platform for professional services. Matchday 10 of the 2022/23 Serie A season has been and gone without all that much changing in the Italian top flight. Napoli and Atalanta both continued their form at the top with wins over Bologna and Sassuolo respectively, and we've got a full house of Conor Clancy, Euan Burns, Kev Pogorzelski and Vito Doria on the pod to chat through it all. AC Milan managed to climb above Lazio by beating Hellas Verona on Sunday night. The Biancocelesti were only able to manage a 0-0 draw with fellow high-flyers Udinese on Sunday afternoon.Saturday started off with Empoli getting a 1-0 win over Monza. The Derby della Mole followed and whilst it did not entertain the masses, Juventus got a 1-0 win thanks to Dusan Vlahovic's goal. The final game on Saturday saw Atalanta come from behind to beat Sassuolo 2-1 in Bergamo. On Sunday, Inter continued their return to form by beating Salernitana 2-0. The afternoon matches saw the 0-0 draw between Lazio and Udinese, a 2-2 draw between Spezia and Cremonese, and then Napoli's 3-2 win over Bologna. The day was rounded off by Hellas Verona being beaten 2-1 at home by AC Milan, where Sandro Tonali scored a late winner.Monday night saw Sampdoria lose at home to AS Roma and then Fiorentina drew away at Lecce.Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/forzaitlianfootball. Mina and Nicky break down how Napoli brought home a victory that can be attributed as much to the Partenopei management team which has assembled this squad, as the talent on the pitch. It's crisis time for Juventus, but can the same be said of Inter under Inzaghi's trigger-happy substitutions at Udinese?  Plus we discuss that wonderful bianconeri team - the Friuliani one - in sensational form, extending its winning streak to five and looking like they might cause some damage this season. After a change of management, Monza finally got out of first gear and past turn one by getting their first ever win in Serie A by defeating a hapless and dispirited Juventus. It remains to be seen if Berlusconi's boys have the strategy to move up in the grid and avoid relegation. And while Juve remains stalled in the pit lane being frantically worked on by a pit crew seemingly less competent than Binotto's bunnies, one thing seems clear: Allegri in or #AllegriOut, a Scudetto for Scuderia Juve this season looks unlikely. But while there is yet no change in management, can Mighty Max come up with a strategy to get their season back on track? (Yes, all Formula 1 references are now exhausted!)... And Roma's inability to finish any of its abundant goal-scoring chances allowed Atalanta to steal a precious win at the Olimpico to see Gasperini's side level on the top of the table with Napoli. ****** Sponsor the show: serieachronicles.com/sponsor. ****** We recommend: Ignition: The world's first client engagement and commerce platform for professional services. Torino made hard work for Inter's win. A 10-man Milan overcame Sampdoria, with Rafael Leao sent off for dangerous play. Giacomo Raspadori got off the mark for Napoli, scoring a late winner over Spezia. Cremonese snatched a draw at Atalanta, causing La Dea to miss a chance to be alone atop the table. Next up is Napoli's superb Champions League performance versus Liverpool, Juve's stale display versus PSG and Milan and Inter's fortunes in the competition. Milan paints la città red again after taking the first Derby della Madonnina of the season, with a wondrous performance from last season's Serie A player of the season Rafael Leão. Udinese hit Roma for 4, which no one saw coming, which has Mina accusing Jose Mourinho of being "all foreplay, no finish"! After a lifeless draw at Fiorentina, we wonder if Max Allegri's cynicism and defensive strength will be enough to turn Juventus into a winning team.
