S/O to Treva for joining us on the first #YMHMSConversation of the year. This conversation was truly blessed. We sat with the topic of Grace & Gratitude not as ideas, but as practices we must return to daily. We talked about the process, and learning to fall in love with it. About inner dialogue, renewing the mind, building momentum, and speaking with intention and power. We touched surrender, growth, and the quiet strength that comes when you allow grace to meet you where you are. This conversation holds the essence of the topic, it was honest, grounding, and necessary. Tap in, and share it with a friend who needs the reminder.
We birth 2026 with our gratitude for 2025
In this episode, I reflect on closing out the year grounded in family, faith, and obedience, and why my dad's sermon reminded me that with God, we don't just get one do-over — we get endless grace.I talk honestly about overgiving, discernment, and how sometimes helping people without boundaries can actually hurt us more than it helps them. Then I sit down with Funny Marco, and our conversation goes everywhere it needs to go — from gratitude and breaking generational cycles, to neurodivergence, parenting, empathy, money, and purpose. Marco shares raw stories about growing up with very little, losing his father young, learning how to be a present dad, and why he believes gratitude, not money, is what keeps him grounded. This episode is real, funny, uncomfortable, and deeply human — the kind of conversation that makes you stop and re-evaluate how you love, give, and show up in the world. Please leave a review , if this episode spoke to you!For exclusive bonus content, behind-the-scenes vlogs, a place connect with the LTTA FAM plus more, join the LTTA app community at LTTA.app and unlock your invite today!Audio Fam, since you listen to the audio every Monday, don't forget to go watch the YouTube on Tuesday! Grace, Gratitude, & Giving Grateful Essential Church December 14, 2025
What two words come to mind when you think of "Thanksgiving"? Maybe food and football or friends and family? But what about grace and gratitude? Those two words capture the heart of Thanksgiving because grace is the undeserved favor and supernatural empowerment of God, and gratitude is the normal response to receiving that grace. In today's experience, we took time to reflect on the grace that brought us to Jesus, and then we gave thanks for His grace in our lives.
Listen to part 3 of our Grace, Gratitude, and Generosity series as Paul Ramsey brings the message on Generosity.
Listen in as D.K. shares a message on the importance of gratitude for the grace we have been given.
A missing laptop charger, a freezing parking lot, and a crowd of costumed kids shouldn't add up to a breakthrough—but that's exactly where the weekend took us. What started as a simple pair of charity DJ gigs turned into a lesson on composure, community, and the kind of closure you don't plan for but desperately need.We kick off with a trunk-or-treat at Arundel Ford a local Ford dealership, where a last-minute tech failure forced a full pivot: rapid setup, a sound check on a dying laptop, and the rest of the set run from a phone. Not ideal, but deeply human. That scramble revealed how staying calm under pressure can be learned, and how serving the moment matters more than a perfect playlist. Between spooky hooks and sticky fingers clutching candy buckets, we found the heart of why we do community work: show up, bring joy, be steady. The tone shifted at the second event, a masquerade fundraiser for Seeds of Hope—a resource center that feeds, warms, clothes, and guides people facing homelessness and addiction. Only moments before unloading gear, we realized the connection: this was the place that cared for my wife's mother during her hardest days. As the dance floor filled, a quiet nudge grew louder: say thank you. She found the director and shared what so few in that line of work ever hear from family—gratitude. It was a tender exchange, honest about the rough edges of addiction and unwavering about the dignity Seeds of Hope provided. That conversation, paired with a church message on forgiveness the next morning, felt like the final stitch in a long, uneven seam of healing. If you've ever juggled grief, logistics, and the urge to do right by the people who helped when you couldn't, this story will resonate. We talk about practical resilience, the grace in imperfect performances, and the sacred power of simple words spoken at the right time. Press play, then tell us: where are you being nudged to say thank you or let go? Parenting can feel like a balancing act of love, discipline, and endless patience. Dr. Daniel Huerta, a licensed counselor and homeschool dad, reminds us that the journey isn't just about shaping our children, it's also about the transformation happening in us. In this episode, Dr. Huerta unpacks the seven traits of effective parenting and offers encouragement for parents to lean into these values while adapting to each child's unique personality and needs. “Parents are doing the best they can with what they have, and I encourage them to look at that. Are you bringing the best you can with what you've got?. . .With that, you get to guide your kids, you get to have a relationship with them. You can give your kids the investment of time and the investment of your attention. That is hard in homeschooling because you've got so many things grabbing for your attention, you have multiple kids that are needing your attention your guidance, then you've got the chores of the house that are right there in front of you. . .that's where the intentionality comes in of how you're going to invest that time to have a relationship. They need you to know who they are.”—Dr. Daniel Huerta

Grace, Gratitude, and the Glory of God in 2025 (2 Corinthians 4:15) - Morning Sermon
Amidst the fast pace of life, this episode dives into the transformative power of small yet profound actions. Guest Michael O'Brien shares his inspiring journey from a near-fatal cycling accident to becoming a beacon of resilience, mindfulness, and intentional living. His framework, GRACE—Gratitude, Reflection, Awareness, Community, and Energy—emphasizes the importance of reframing adversity, finding gratitude in the present, and using breath as a tool to navigate life's challenges. Highlighting the ripple effect of kindness and connection, Michael demonstrates how embracing moments of pause can lead to deeper self-awareness, better relationships, and a life aligned with purpose. With practical insights and heartfelt anecdotes, this conversation motivates listeners to slow down, breathe, and focus on what truly matters. Key Takeaways How the GRACE framework serves as a practical tool for navigating challenges and fostering a mindset shift. The concept of "Pause, Breathe, Reflect" interrupts reactive behavior, allowing for thoughtful responses in moments of stress. How reframing traumatic experiences can shift the narrative from "happening to me" to "happening for me," fostering personal growth. Building a strong community or “peloton” of support for recovery and resilience. Utilizing breathing techniques, such as box breathing, as simple yet effective methods for grounding oneself in high-stress situations. About the Guest: Breathe in…Breathe out… It's time to Pause, Breathe, and Reflect with Michael O'Brien. Michael is like a reactive mind circuit breaker who helps leaders prevent a bad moment from turning into a bad day so they can perform at a higher level. He's a survivor of a horrific near-death cycling accident called his Last Bad Day and years in the corporate executive suite, and in 2022, he used the power of mindfulness, grit, resilience and his peloton to ride his bike across America. www.michaelobrienshift.com Connect with Dr. Michelle and Bayleigh at: https://smallchangesbigshifts.com hello@smallchangesbigshifts.com https://www.linkedin.com/company/smallchangesbigshifts https://www.facebook.com/SmallChangesBigShifts https://www.instagram.com/smallchangesbigshiftsco Thanks for listening! What does it look like to live a spirit-filled life? If we are truly empowered by the Spirit, shouldn't that be noticeable in our work life, in our relationships, in our witness? If so, how?Far too many of us live lives that are too much like our friends and neighbors who don't follow Christ. We're living an everyday life when a supernatural life is available to us. We're living beneath our privilege as sons and daughters of God.Project Rescuehttps://forms.ministryforms.net/embed.aspx?formId=fa9ab3d6-70fd-403a-ba47-fd5b63d77a8a
