Today, we're kickin' of the process of creating your ultimate 2025 training plan and strategy. Oooo yes we are girl. I'm going to take you through a core theme—Simple, Right, Better, Deeper—that will guide everything you do in your training and health this year. You don't need to do more—you need to do the right things better and go deeper into them. I'll also break down the three non-negotiables you need for a strong plan—structured training, eating enough damn food, and proper recovery. Let's create a plan that's elegant, simple, and something you can actually stick to. Sound good? Let's dive in. Key Takeaways 1. Your 2025 Core Theme: Simple, Right, Better, Deeper Simple: Strip it back. You don't need more variety or complexity—you need simplicity. Simple = consistent. Right: What's right for you right now? Where's your body at? What's the season of your life? Focus on what you need in this moment. Better: It's not about adding more—it's about improving what's already working. Dial it in. Make it better. Deeper: You don't need to find the next shiny thing—you need to go deeper into the foundational stuff: proper training, eating, and recovery. 2. Three Essentials for 2025 A Proper Training Program: No random workouts, no guessing. You need a structured plan that meets you where you're at, helps you move better, and builds serious strength. Eat Enough Damn Food: Food is fuel. If you want more energy, more strength, and better results, you need to eat. Period. 3. Rest and Recovery: Sleep, manage your stress, get outside, and move intentionally. Recovery isn't optional—it's essential.Set Less Goals (Less is More) Stop overloading your plate. Pick 1-2 key goals and focus on them. Shift from long-term planning to shorter-term blocks: 7 days, 30 days, 90 days max.Close the Expectation-Reality Gap - So many of us set goals based on where we want to be rather than where we are. You can't expect big results if your foundation isn't strong. Focus on building health first, then performance, and aesthetics will follow. 5. Traffic Light Assessment Use the traffic light system to figure out what needs your attention: Red: Stop. Needs urgent focus. Orange: Needs improvement. Green: Good to go—keep doing it. 6. The Warrior School Framework: Health, Performance, Aesthetics Health: This is your foundation. Hormonal health, metabolic balance, and nervous system resilience matter. Performance: Train with intention. Learn how to move well, own your movement, and build strength. Aesthetics: This is a byproduct of doing the first two well. It happens over time as you go deeper into health and performance. I want you to join me for a free live workshop where I'll guide you through this process. We'll use this core theme and my Warrior School framework to build your ultimate 2025 training plan - sign up will be out this week.

The Three Essentials of a church Divine Providence 259. There are three essentials of the church, an acknowledgment of the Divine of the Lord, an acknowledgment of the holiness of the Word, and the life that is called charity. According to the life which is charity is every one's faith; from the Word comes the knowledge of what the life must be, and from the Lord are reformation and salvation. If the church had held these three as essentials it would not have been divided, but only varied, by intellectual dissensions, as light varies the colour in beautiful objects, and as various circlets give beauty in the crown of a king. True Christian Religion 712. It is also known that there are three essentials of the church, God, charity, and faith, and that all things in the church have relation to these three as their universals. These are identical with the three named above, since in the holy supper God is the Lord, charity is the Divine good, and faith the Divine truth. What is charity but the good that man does from the Lord? And what is faith but the truth that man believes from the Lord? And this is why there are three things in man in respect to his internal, namely, soul, or mind, will, and understanding. These three are the receptacles of the three universals; the soul itself, or the mind, is the receptacle of the Lord, for it lives therefrom; the will is the receptacle of love or good; and the understanding is the receptacle of wisdom or truth. Thus each thing and all things in the soul or mind, not only have relation to the three universals of heaven and the church, but they go forth from them. Mention anything that goes forth from man that does not contain mind, will, and understanding. If anyone of these were taken away, would man be anything more than any inanimate thing? Likewise there are in man's external three things, to which each thing and all things have relation, and upon which they depend, namely, the body, the heart, and the lungs. And these three things of the body correspond to the three of the mind, the heart corresponding to the will, and the lungs or respiration to the understanding. That there is such a correspondence has been fully shown in former treatises. Thus then have each and all things in man been so formed, both universally and particularly, as to be receptacles of the three universals of heaven and the church. This is because man was created an image and likeness of God, and he was so created in order that he might be in the Lord and the Lord in him. Man supposes that life is his own Apocalypse Explained 349 [2] Since it is at this day believed in the world that the life that each one has was given and implanted, and is thus one's own, and does not flow in continuously, I desire to say something respecting it. The opinion that life is in man in such a way as to be his own is merely an appearance that springs from the perpetual presence of the Lord, and from His Divine love, in that He wills to be conjoined to man, to be in him, and to impart to him His life, for such is the Divine love; and because this is perpetual and continuous man supposes that life is in him as his own; yet it is known that there is not a good or a truth in man, but that they come from above, thus that they flow in. It is the same with love and faith; for everything of man's love is from good, and everything of his faith is from truth; for what a man loves is good to him, and what he believes is truth to him. This makes clear in the first place that no good and no truth, so neither love nor faith, is in man, but that they flow in from the Lord. Life itself is in good and truth, and nowhere else. The receptacle of the good of love with man is the will, and the receptacle of the truth of faith with him is the understanding; and to will good does not belong to man, nor to believe truth. These are the two faculties in which is the whole life of man; outside of these there is no life.

In this episode we talk about corporate venture capital: Why should you do it? How should you do it? And what should you expect from it? Traditionally, established corporations have tended to view start-ups as undisciplined and naive, while start-ups might dismiss incumbents as stodgy and behind the times. It's (mostly) not like that anymore, as both sides increasingly recognize each other's strengths and the value of collaborating. In fact, large companies are now involved in about a third of all venture deals—an all-time high. More than three-quarters of the Fortune 100 are active in the venture capital (VC) space and half have a VC arm set up as a subsidiary, not including companies with internal VC business units. Habits and rituals, two seemingly different words, but really tied very closely together, one just holds a little more power than the other. The word "ritual" can make some people cringe. It can take your mind all sorts of places, but in this episode I invite you to consider looking at the word slightly differently.Whether your in the "habits" camp or the "rituals" camp, or possibly even both camps, like I am, one thing is certain, being intentional about your habits is crucial in keeping exhaustion, overwhelm and burnout at bay. Transitions are one of the toughest things both in life and on the yoga mat, yet you can indeed train yourself to make them easy and maybe even effortless. When approaching a transition, in order to get to the place of effortless action, there are three key things that I've discovered need to be intention placed around them.Transitions are happening all the time--everyday moments to the larger times in life--job changes, menopause, retirement, adding children to your family, marriages. We also feel the pull of nature's transitions through the seasons, and the cosmic or astrological transitions with the moon and even the planets, so it's natural that they can sometimes feel clunky and awkward or frustrating and rigid rather than smooth and effortless, flowing. But it is possible to create a way of being that makes transitions more effortless, whether they are big or small and whether they are tangible or energetic.Grab the full show notes and resources at www.cairnyogawellness.com/podcast33 and subscribe and listen wherever you catch your podcasts:
