IN THIS EPISODE:It's the day before Thanksgiving, and above all, I'm disgusted that I had gotten on the scale and discovered that I put all the weight back on (in three months!!) that I'd lost over the past year. I then talk about how hard it is to follow God's will for our lives when we can't audibly hear his voice. Case in point, our home. I continue to beat the issue of our house, and convince Gunner that we should take the small, shabby house on the 40 acres with all the ponds. I rationalize that if we were willing to pay more for the bigger, nicer house, then it would be worth it to eventually buy this smaller, shabbier house and fix it up because the property was so amazing. And the end is kind of funny... IN THIS EPISODE:It was my mom's birthday, and she passed away in 2008 from cancer. I didn't have much time to reflect on the loss, though, as I was still making mad trips back and forth to move the remainder of my stuff. I had an upcoming work trip to Charleston, SC that I had to get ready for. But my main issue at the moment was my frustration with the local family farm that I was friends with, and this lady named Kim who just didn't want to refund my money in a timely fashion. I was pretty desperate for it, but it was starting to get weird and I couldn't understand why. Have a listen for yourself.
