January 25th, 1993 is the date for the 3rd ever episode of WWF Monday Night RAW. Yokozuka has won the Royal Rumble the night before, but that's not the focus of this episode. Ric Flair's WWF contract is up so they need a match to write him off! The main event is a Loser Leaves WWF match between Mr. Perfect and Ric Flair that turns into a straight up classic. There's blood, there's cheating, there's Bobby Heenan going absolutely nuts at ringside. Mr. Perfect send Ric Flair packing. Also, Kamala battles the Brooklyn Brawler and slaps his belly, Randy Savage wrestles the Repo Man to try and get his stolen hat back, and Rob Bartlett rambles on! It's 1993 WWF where they are still trying to figure out what the show is going to be. Plus, the boys talk about the Japan trip!⦁ Deadlock Discord: https://discord.gg/E4BvR4W⦁ Deadlock Shop: https://shop.deadlockpw.com⦁ Deadlock Patreon: https://patreon.com/deadlockpw⦁ Deadlock Twitter: https://twitter.com/deadlockpw⦁ Deadlock Instagram: https://instagram.com/deadlockwrestling⦁ Deadlock Reddit: https://reddit.com/r/deadlockpw⦁ Deadlock Pro Wrestling: http://deadlockpro.com

Recorded from Japan, James and Johnny take you to the June 21, 1999 episode of WWF Monday Night Raw. It's the chaotic go home show before King of the Ring 1999. The Corporate Ministry is falling apart, so much so that The Undertaker and Triple H battle in the main event! While the match is going on The Rock crashes the party. As chaos ensues The Rock is able to put Paul Bearer on a giant Brahma Bull symbol. Much like when The Undertaker Symbolized Stone Cold. Also, HBK is laying down stipulations as commissioner, and Stone Cold brawls the Big Bossman in a wild match that ends with beers and broken ladders. Plus, Val Venis tattoos Prince Albert's butt and Big Show tries vehicular manslaughter on Hardcore Holly. All this and more as DEADLOCK takes you back to the past.⦁ Deadlock Discord: https://discord.gg/E4BvR4W⦁ Deadlock Shop: https://shop.deadlockpw.com⦁ Deadlock Patreon: https://patreon.com/deadlockpw⦁ Deadlock Twitter: https://twitter.com/deadlockpw⦁ Deadlock Instagram: https://instagram.com/deadlockwrestling⦁ Deadlock Reddit: https://reddit.com/r/deadlockpw⦁ Deadlock Pro Wrestling: http://deadlockpro.com

It's the last WWF Monday Night Raw of 1999 and the McMahon-Helmsley power trip continues with a Pink Slip on a Pole match between Mankind and The Rock, leading to Mick Foley's untimely demise. The locker room is starting to boil over with the power trip. Plus, Kane and Tori have some relationship issues after her weekend with X-Pac, and it involves Test. Plus, Chyna continues to help Chris Jericho and Mark Henry and Mae Young go out on a double date. Former head writer Tommy Blacha has great insight on all of it. Watch this episode on Youtube.Follow Tales from The Attitude Era on all social mediahttp://youtube.com/@TFTAttitudeEra http://twitter.com/TFTAttitudeErahttp://instagram.com/TFTAttitudeErahttp://tiktok.com/@TFTAttitudeEraTommy Blacha made his name in Hollywood as a writer on Conan O'Brien, co-creator of Metalocalypse on Adult Swim, and a writer on shows like The Eric Andre Show and Da Ali G Show. But, a little-known fact about Tommy's career is that he was the head writer of WWE (WWF at the time)) during their most successful period, starting in 1999, taking over for Vince Russo, who left for the competition. This podcast, Tales from the Attitude Era will be a retrospective of Tommy's time in the head writer position and the roller coaster ride that is pro wrestling, co-hosted by Rob Pasbani. Another week of steadily declining quality folks, but Kwang IS AWESOME! And there was a delicious Arbor Ales treat for "Big Meaty Cool" to enjoy: "Matt La Blanche", a Coriander-heavy Witbier brewed in collaboration with France's Big Mountain Brewing Co. Follow the show: @onemansmeatpod on Twitter
Another solid week from all 3 companies really, and there's nothing wrong with that. Nor was there anything wrong with "Big Meaty Cool's" latest offering from Arbor Ales; "ZZ Hop", a session-strength NEIPA. Follow the show: @onemansmeatpod on Twitter.
Jeff Jarrett puts in another star performance, Raw promotes a Superstars match (I know!), and "Big Meaty Cool" was generally happy this week. It was probably to do with Arbor Ales and their wonderful "Citrus Maxima" Lemon & Lime Pale Ale. Follow the show: @onemansmeatpod on Twitter

Can we not just watch Spring Stampede again? After a decent 10 minutes, it's mostly downhill. Arbor Ales failed to disappoint again though, with their delicious "Helles Lager" Follow the show: @onemansmeatpod on Twitter
A much improved episode of Raw this week, but still no sign to the "New Era" yet. Arbor Ales were still on point though with their "Talus In Wonderland" American Pale Ale. Follow the show: @onemansmeatpod on Twitter.
Fall out from WWF Survivor Series 1998 takes place on the November 16th, 1998 edition of WWF Monday Night RAW. The Rock is the new WWF Champion after becoming Corporate and screwing over Stone Cold and Mankind at the PPV. While Shane McMahon was tricking everyone to think he was on Stone Cold's side he booked a match between Stone Cold and The Rock a few weeks ago for the WWF Championship. So the main event was signed in a legally binding contract for The Rock vs Stone Cold Steve Austin! Also, Hawk of the Road Warriors, is battling personal demons. He climbs up the Titantron during a match and claims he is going to end it all. Droz then climbs up the side of the truss and tries to help him. Or did he push him off? You be the judge of that. Plus, Mankind is hiding in the Boiler Room and it's up to the Stooges to go find him and try to talk to him after he got screwed!⦁ Deadlock Discord: https://discord.gg/E4BvR4W ⦁ Deadlock Shop: https://shop.deadlockpw.com ⦁ Deadlock Patreon: https://patreon.com/deadlockpw ⦁ Deadlock Twitter: https://twitter.com/deadlockpw ⦁ Deadlock Instagram: https://instagram.com/deadlockwrestling ⦁ Deadlock Reddit: https://reddit.com/r/deadlockpw ⦁ Deadlock Pro Wrestling: http://deadlockpro.com
A better episode of Raw, with a fun 10-man tag and new regular segment. The rest of the action "Big Meaty Cool" covers was ok too! And "Days Like This", a delicious, 4.7% Gluten-free Pale Ale from Arbor Ales, was terrific. Follow the show: @onemansmeatpod on Twitter.

The Fernwood Resort becomes an all you can eat buffet this week, as the worst one-note joke of 1993 gets dragged through the mud in early 1994. You know who's awesome though? Owen Hart. 'Nuff Said. DEYA Brewing are awesome too, as was their incredible "Brett Pale", a Simcoe hopped pale ale brewed with Brettanomyces yeast, that metabolises the hops over time to give a deliciously sour tang and heightened aroma. Troy is here to start the attitude era off with the post Montreal Screw Job episode of Raw.
Johnny Polo vs Marty Jannetty in a rematch several months in the making, a surprising star turn on commentary, AGAIN, and a coin toss for the ages. Plus; debuts EVERYWHERE, though one meant more than the other. And "Big Meaty Cool" welcomes Cheltenham's DEYA brewery to the podcast, and a delicious "Apple Picnic Beer" Sour was the first of many brews enjoyed from those legends. D-Generation X has reformed on WWF Monday Night Raw and now they are here to take over. The plan is to make each member of DX feel important and have them challenge other top level superstars. DX opens the show and challenges The Rock, Stone Cold, and tells Mr. McMahon, “We're Taking Over!” Road Dogg ambushes The Rock when he arrives at the building and they lock him in the trunk of a car and drive off. When they get word that Stone Cole arrives, they split up to go find him. Austin has a series of traps that catch DX off guard. Road Dogg ends up in a bear trap, Billy Gunn gets caught in a snare trap, and X-Pac has the ceiling fall on him. Before all of this, DX claims there would be a new member to the group, however they set Kane up and beat him down. They say he will never join them. Also, after months of the Big Bossman harassing The Big Show and destroying his Dad's watch, he decides to get revenge in a parking lot. He drives a forklift into them while they are in a car and then drops a dumpster on the top of it! Plus, the boys discuss green Kane and the DEADLOCK Q&A returns!⦁ Deadlock Discord: https://discord.gg/E4BvR4W⦁ Deadlock Shop: https://shop.deadlockpw.com⦁ Deadlock Patreon: https://patreon.com/deadlockpw⦁ Deadlock Twitter: https://twitter.com/deadlockpw⦁ Deadlock Instagram: https://instagram.com/deadlockwrestling⦁ Deadlock Reddit: https://reddit.com/r/deadlockpw⦁ Deadlock Pro Wrestling: http://deadlockpro.comThis show is part of the Spreaker Prime Network, if you are interested in advertising on this podcast, contact us at https://www.spreaker.com/show/5810608/advertisement
