This episode is about our time on Disney Cruise Line and their ship, Disney Dream. I learned that the boarding process at Miami is smooth and efficient, with luggage tags sent in the mail to help port attendants get luggage on the ship. The ship offers plenty of fun activities, and the kid's club is secure with a safe word used for pick up. The staterooms are small, but have a steward to help with tasks and turn down service. The ship provides plenty of food options with three main dining restaurants with two seatings and a buffet area. The rotational dining allows for consistency with the same wait staff and special touches like Kennedy's booster seat and milk cup. At "My dream is a wish your heart makes" - Disney Cruise Line In this episode, you will learn the following: 1. What is the process of boarding a Disney Cruise Line and what should travelers be prepared for? 2. What are the features of a Disney Cruise Line stateroom, and what tips can be given to maximize the experience? 3. What is the experience like when dining on a Disney Cruise Line, and what unique features does it offer? Be sure to subscribe to the podcast by clicking here. Liked what you heard? The links between OCD and Anxiety are fascinating and OCD Therapist Jenna Overbaugh chats with me about Postpartum OCD, the fears we often have as women and as mothers as well as touching on some of the darker thoughts that may scare us. More about Jenna: Jenna Overbaugh has been a licensed therapist since 2014, with many years of experience at an OCD residential unit at Rogers Memorial Hospital where she saw some of the most debilitating cases of OCD. She learned about Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, the most effective form of OCD treatment, in college and decided to focus on ERP in both undergrad and grad school. It's her intent to help people with OCD get through their challenges and show patients how to manage OCD on your own with confidence. Do you feel like you could benefit from a call with Jenna and her team to learn more about OCD, obsessive thoughts and behaviors? I sat down with Sarah Neill, CEO and Founder of the body positive fashion app called Mys Tyler to get the scoop on why she developed an app that was clearly missing from the fashion industry! What is Mys Tyler™? Did you know around 91% of the clothes we buy online aren't a good fit? We suspect it's because 91% of us don't share the same body as the online models. This means up to 40% of clothes will end up being returned, with many more banished to the back of the closet. That's why we created Mys Tyler, a platform that lets you discover fellow women of a similar height, size, shape and more, so you can see how an outfit will fit on YOUR body. Think of our Contributors as your own fashion body doubles who are actively trying on clothes, styling them and showing you where to buy them. If it looks good on them, it will look great on you! By helping you find clothing that fits you EVERY time, you'll save time, the industry will reduce returns, and less clothes will end up in landfill. Wins all around! You need to download the app to your phone ASAP! Be sure to subscribe to the podcast by clicking here. Liked what you heard? It is no secret that The All New Mickey Mouse Club produced superstars like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Ryan Gosling, Keri Russell and dozens more. This show was a launching pad for stars of the y2k era and my guest Jennifer McGill had a front row seat. As a cast member on all 7 seasons of MMC, Jennifer had the chance to showcase her stellar vocal talent with covers of her favorite songs, interview pop-stars of the time and even perfect her acting skills with my personal favorite skit, "As the Mall Turns". Tune in to hear about her experience and see what she's up to now that the mouse-ears have been hung up! More about Jennifer from her site: With over 30 years of showbiz under her belt, she now tells the stories of her rollercoaster ups and downs like never before, as a Speaker, Worship Leader, Songwriter, Coach, and Inspirational Pop Recording Artist. What started as almost a clean sweep of nearly 50 pageant victories from age seven in a small Texas town quickly evolved into seven seasons in Orlando on the Disney Channel's wildly popular The All-New Mickey Mouse Club in the late ‘80s well into the ‘90s, which Jennifer describes as a sort of “‘Saturday Night Live' for kids” featuring interviews, skits, variety show-styled razzle dazzle, and of course, loads of singing. A quick internet search shows her performing alongside a slew of internationally renowned stars, and throughout a real time conversation, she just as casually mentions how Michael Jackson used to visit the set as a major fan of their show or the time when Celine Dion helped calm her nerves prior to an inauguration performance for President Bill Clinton at the Kennedy Center.
