A new medical facility in Ennis is being welcomed as a vote of confidence in the town which will drastically cut journey times for patients. Fresenius Medical Care Limited, which is the operator of the Limerick Dialysis Centre on the Dock Road, has secured planning permission for a renal dialysis facility in the Clare Technology Park. It's understood the unit will be operational between April and June of next year and will feature 20 stations capable of catering for up to 20 patients at any one time.
