Huh, het lijstjesseizoen is dit jaar al in oktober aangebroken? Jawel, Osmium geeft daarvoor het startschot. En dat wordt niet gedaan met de minste lijst. Pim en Niels zworen bij de geboorte van de zwaarste podcast in het Nederlands dat ze nooit iets zouden recenseren. Echter leven we in het meest kritische tijdperk. Alles behoeft een beoordeling. En als men op Google Maps een cijfer kan geven aan Mount Fuji, dan kan dat ook zeker aan ons geliefde muziekgenre. Dit is dan ook exact de taak die de presentatoren op zich nemen: het opstellen van een kolossale tierlist, bestaande uit alle metal, hardcore en punk (sub)genres onder de zon. Jazeker, zelfs na vierenzestig afleveringen worden er nog nieuwe dieptepunten bereikt in het vat van “goede” ideeën. Zoals verwacht gaat deze exercitie niet zonder horten of stoten. Wat begint met sterk onderbouwde argumenten en beoordelingen, verzandt al snel in discussies over hoe het wiel heette toen het werd uitgevonden en uitspraken als “Who cares? F-tier!”. Alsof dat nog niet genoeg is, wordt Soulcrusher, de vaste prik in het festivallandschap, natuurlijk ook dit jaar weer vakkundig ontleed. Daarnaast ramharde muziektips van een jonge band met een gerijpte plaat, en het album dat zeker het jaar gaat winnen. Natuurlijk worden er ook nog wat concerttips gegeven, waarvan er eentje Dries Roelvink op de poster heeft staan. Oh ja, en de stickers die eeuwen geleden beloofd werden? Saving endangered species! Dr. Morne de la Rey talks to Af about his work helping save the Northern White Rhino and other animal species from extinction. Morné de la Rey is a South African veterinary surgeon and embryo transfer specialist. In 2003, he was one of a team of scientists and veterinarians from his company Embryo Plus and the Danish Agriculture Institute to clone a cow, the first animal to be cloned in Africa. In 2016, he was one of a team to use in vitro fertilization successfully for the first time in the Cape buffalo. In 2010 he produced Sable Antelope calves by means of Fixed Time Artificial Insemination with frozen thawed semen. He became the first person in the world to produce Sable Antelope calves by means of embryo transfers in 2011. Following his success he produced the first cross type between Zambian Sable Antelope embryo calves born out of southern Sable Antelope. He had great success with the Cape Buffalo as well, in 2013 produced the first pregnancies in the Cape Buffalo by means of embryo transfers in the world. In 2016 he became successful with IVF in Cape Buffalo and produced the first calf in the world.

It's Monday morning August 18th, 2008 at a school in Krugersdorp. The bell has just rung for morning assembly so all the students are making their way towards the hall in groups, chatting among themselves. Two 16-yo boys Jacques Pretorius and his friend JC are walking in together when the unthinkable happens. They didn't have any real warning. Some kids in the vicinity said they heard someone say “Want to see something cool?” just before that someone swung a sword at Jacques, catching him at the neck.
