If your thoughts feel busy or unsettled, this moment is for you. Father, I come to You just as I am. You see what is on my mind. You understand what I am carrying. So I pause here. I bring my thoughts to You. I bring my concerns to You. I bring what feels overwhelming. I place it in Your hands. I release the worry that is trying to take hold. I release the pressure to figure everything out. I release the need to carry it all alone. I release it. And now, I receive. I receive peace over my mind. I receive calm in my thoughts. I receive the reassurance that You are with me. I receive. And now I move forward gently. Not rushed. Not anxious. But steady and at peace. God is with you now. You are not alone. Across the world, Your peace is settling hearts. From Nairobi to Mexico City, from Singapore to Manila, Your Spirit is bringing calm and reassurance. Jesús, dame paz en mi mente hoy. And the peace of God… will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” This is your early morning prayer for anxiety and overthinking. If your mind is already racing ahead of you, if thoughts are circling before the day has even begun, this moment is for you. This is a prayer to calm your mind and bring you into peace right now. We are praying from the words of Jesus in the Lord's Prayer — “Our Father in heaven.” Father, as the morning begins, we come to You. Not as strangers. Not as distant voices. But as children who belong. You are our Father. And right now, before anything else begins, we anchor ourselves in that truth.I belong to God. I am not alone. I am held by my Father in heaven. And Your Word tells us not to be anxious. So we bring every anxious thought to You. Every thought that is running ahead… Every fear about what today may hold… Every worry that feels too heavy too early…We place it into Your hands. Because You are already ahead of us. You are already present in every moment of this day. So I release the overthinking. I release the anxiety I woke up with. I release the pressure to figure everything out. I release it. And now, I receive. I receive the peace of God over my mind. I receive calm over my thoughts. I receive the covering of Jesus over my life. I receive. Today will not control me. My thoughts will not lead me into fear. I will walk in peace. Because my Father is with me. Across the world, wherever we are listening, God is present. From Mexico City to Bogotá, from São Paulo to Manila, His Spirit is calming minds, lifting burdens, and restoring peace. In this convicting installment of the "Kingdom Now" series on the Sermon on the Mount, Pastor Karl tackles the final section of Matthew 6, where Jesus confronts the disciple's battle with excessive worry.Jesus commands, “Do not be anxious about your life,” addressing our deepest fears over sustenance, health, and material security. Pastor Karl explains that worry is not a personality trait but a discipleship issue—a lack of trust that we are our own ultimate provider. He notes the physical and emotional toll of chronic anxiety, while research shows most worries never materialize and the rest prove less devastating than feared.Drawing from Jesus' illustrations of birds (who labor diligently yet trust God's care) and lilies (clothed more gloriously than Solomon), Pastor Karl clarifies: diligent work and planning are biblical, but anxiety over provision is not. Worry accomplishes nothing and robs us of life. The solution is radical: “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Jesus calls disciples to dethrone worry by enthroning God's kingdom as the supreme priority—surpassing personal agendas, comfort, and even life itself. When the eternal kingdom becomes our greatest passion, God faithfully supplies what we truly need.Echoing Abraham's trust over Lot's worldly pursuit, Pastor Karl challenges listeners: Will we choose altars over assets, surrendering our plans to God's will? True freedom from worry comes not from trying harder to stop, but from wholehearted devotion to the King and His kingdom.A powerful, grace-filled invitation to examine our priorities, replace anxiety with kingdom passion, and live as trusting disciples who reflect their generous, faithful Father.Watch all our sermons on our youtube channel "Flipside Christian Church"Join us in person 9:00am & 10:30am every Sunday morning.37193 Ave 12 #3h, Madera, CA 93636For more visit us at flipside.churchFor more podcasts visit flipsidepodcasts.transistor.fm

Fear, worry, and anxiousness will come against us, but that is not the sin. What do we do when those feelings and emotions come upon us? 2 Chronicles 20 gives us an example on what we should do when we become fearful or worried about a situation. God is with us just like He was with King Jehoshaphat. Philippians 4, Matthew 28:16-20

Study of Scripture: Philippians 4:6; 1 Timothy 2:1-5; Romans 8:26; Matthew 6:5-8Did you know that your prayers offered up to God are like Spiritual Drones? In this Bible study, Preacher Man Milo uses his illustration of Spiritual Drones to teach about how our prayers are both important to God and powerful for each other. Considering the coronavirus pandemic and this shared season of shelter-in-place, Milo encourages all of us to level-up our prayer lives for ourselves and each other. In this lesson, Milo connects his Spiritual Drones illustration to insight found in selected scriptures written by the Apostle Paul. Thereafter, Milo pivots to something Jesus commanded regarding how we should pray. Question: When someone says, “Please pray for me.” – what kind of Christian are you? Hopefully, you are the kind of Believer that gets on the BATTLEFIELD and sends up powerful prayers (aka Spiritual Drones) in Jesus' name!!If that is who YOU are, or, if that is who YOU aim to be – this study is for YOU!!
