Alabama AD Greg Byrne tries to gaslight us and gets hit with the community notes. Kirk Herbstreit kowtows to the FSU twitter mob. Carson Beck injured! Can UGA still win the natty?! Coming off a monster rivalry weekend full of games, we get the gang together to unpack it all. Roddy Jones joins Hartzell and the Doc to talk about the GT/Georgia 8OT game, and the combined ripple effects that game had - along with Miami and Clemson losing - on the ACC's dream of a being a multi-bid league. Nicole Auerbach from NBC Sports joins the show to discuss Michigan/Ohio State and the Big Ten at large. Nicole has questions for the Playoff Committee that need answers but we'll probably not get them (because transparency isn't something that they do well). The Doc is still butthurt about FSU, he unsuccessfully tries to hijack the show multiple times, and of course we get some picks from Rodstra on our way out the door.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Andy and Randy speak about what the rankings might look like tonight and the message that could be sent.
So much football, so many takes. We had to get Wayne and Roddy on the show at the same time to unpack an all-time Saturday of college football that just happened PLUS predict what this is all going to look like for the Playoff Committee ahead of Tuesday night's rankings reveal. Enough with the Indiana talk, 11-1 Hoosiers are a lock to get in. But what about a 2-bid ACC? Wayne wants to talk Heisman because he's a voter but is having a tough time picking between two players on the same team. Roddy walks us through the Big 12 tiebreakers ahead of the final weekend of the regular season, and you already know we had to make some picks on the way out the door. Let us set the table for you on Thanksgiving week with some football talk like only we can here on CSN. Have a great holiday and thanks for listening everybody!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

FOX Sports' lead College Football analyst Joel Klatt reacts to the 2nd edition of College Football Playoff Rankings with 4 Big Ten teams making up the Top 5 spots. He discusses how the Playoff Committee appeared to course-correct after last week and put Indiana and BYU up 3 spots despite coming off unconvincing wins. He looks at Georgia's path to the Playoff as they are currently outside the 12-team bracket. Klatt also considers whether a 3-loss team in the SEC could still make the CFP and if Miami now has to run the table to get to secure a spot in the field. Learn more about your ad choices. The Florida State Seminoles shut down the No. 15 Louisville Cardinals 16-6 on Saturday night to earn the program's 16th conference title. FSU was led by an incredible defensive performance and did just enough on offense despite being forced to start their third-string freshman Brock Glenn at quarterback. But none of that mattered to the College Football Playoff Committee, as on Sunday afternoon they made the unconscionable and logically inconsistent argument to leave out 13-0 Florida State — one of just three undefeated teams — in favor of one-loss Texas and one-loss Alabama. That decision made FSU the first ever undefeated power conference champion to ever be left out of a chance to win the national title. This week on the Seminole Wrap podcast, Brian Pellerin, Ben Meyerson, and Jon Marchant discuss the Playoff Committee's decision, their abhorrent justification for it, and the ramifications the decision is sure to have both for Florida State but also across the college football landscape. The group also discusses the team, its legacy, what this season has meant for fans and the program and its players, and last but not least, head coach Mike Norvell. Learn more about your ad choices.
