Solutions for adults with ADHD. ADHD big brother and host, Russ Jones, helps listeners gain a simplified understanding of their ADHD symptoms. Using examples from his own life, Russ blends comedy and education and leaves you with practical strategies that you can implement immediately.
The ADHD Big Brother podcast is a refreshing and valuable resource for individuals with ADHD or those who have loved ones with the condition. As someone who struggles with attention issues, I often find it difficult to stay engaged in long podcasts. However, this show provides practical and helpful tips in a short period of time, making it perfect for someone like me.
One of the best aspects of The ADHD Big Brother podcast is its ability to condense useful information into concise episodes. Russ Jones, the host, has a knack for delivering practical advice in a clear and understandable manner. His explanations are easy to follow and his approachable style makes it feel like you're chatting with a knowledgeable friend. The episodes are packed with tips and strategies that can be implemented immediately, which is incredibly valuable for anyone managing ADHD symptoms.
In addition to its brevity, another positive aspect of this podcast is its ability to educate and inform not only those with ADHD but also their friends and family members. Listening to the show has helped me gain a better understanding of what my close family member goes through on a daily basis. It offers insights into the challenges faced by individuals with ADHD, allowing me to empathize more effectively and provide support where needed.
While it's hard to find any major faults with The ADHD Big Brother podcast, one potential drawback could be its focus solely on ADHD-related topics. For listeners seeking broader content or discussions unrelated to ADHD, this podcast may not be their cup of tea. However, given its specific target audience, this narrow focus can also be seen as a strength since it caters specifically to those looking for guidance and support related to ADHD.
In conclusion, The ADHD Big Brother podcast is an exceptional resource for individuals struggling with attention issues or seeking ways to support loved ones with ADHD. Its short episodes deliver practical tips in an engaging manner that keeps listeners attentive and interested throughout. Whether you have ADHD yourself or want to understand it better, this podcast is both informative and enjoyable. Give it a listen and let Russ Jones guide you through the complexities of ADHD in an approachable and insightful way.

From Dana: I've Been Helping People Outsmart Their ADHD Since 1998I get it. I have ADHD, too. I know firsthand how it feels to struggle with ADHD symptoms, and what it's like to dream of life being easier.I felt hopeless. Frustrated that I couldn't get the important stuff done. Overwhelmed with clutter and chaos at work and at home. Constantly afraid that I'd lose my job.I spent years learning how to master my ADHD. Pulling apart my out-of-control life. Slowly rebuilding it piece by piece with sustainable systems and strategies to support me at work and home.My transformation was so powerful that I've made it my mission to teach other adults how to master their ADHD, too. That's why I became an ADHD coach. Working privately by phone with clients all over the world. But, I discovered a couple of problems with private ADHD coaching.Sure, my clients lives were changing, but they still felt so alone in their struggles. They needed a community. And, frankly, the price of private coaching was too expensive for lots of people. That's why I invented the ADHD Success Club. A community of smart, professional ADHD adults who I'm teaching how to master ADHD together. ***************************Check out the 8 Essential ADHD Big Brother Episodes, curated and ordered specifically to get you primed and ready to successfully manage your ADHD life! I was so fortunate to be educated by the great Dr. Shane Calhoun of Calhoun Counseling Services. He explains the neurochemicals better than I've ever heard and he simplifies it perfectly for my skull spaghetti. Dr. Shane Calhoun is a Clinical Health Psychologist who specializes in Adult ADHD. He has several masters degrees and graduated with his doctorate from Loma Linda University in 2012. He has been licensed for over a decade and in the last year he left his position as the Training Director at Cal Poly Humboldt to invest in the neurodiverse community through his private practice. He has been guest host on both radio and podcasts helping people in the neurodiverse community advance on their own personal wellness journeys. You can find more information about him on his profile on Psychology Today. He also runs ADHD counseling groups and one is starting on the 9th of July. They will be accepting new members into the foreseeable future and would love it if you reached out. Enrollment is ongoing so check in at any time. If a group fills up, he will form a new one. His Psychology Today profile will have more information on how you can contact him as well as his personal website at CalhounCounselingServices.comMore from Dr. Shane: I have been a good fit for individuals looking for a supportive space to address anxiety and depression, needing movement in developing new coping strategies, seeking a deeper level of wellness and balance, or identity development. I have often found that I work well with those who have found therapy unhelpful in the past and are looking to give it another try. I also recognize that counseling is a different experience for those who identify as ADHD or ASD. The neuro-diverse culture is an area that I have experience in and that I find meaningful to work with. Some difficulties are a necessary part of our journey to live meaningfully, but not all of them. We can let go of unhelpful ways of coping and create new habits, making this journey more meaningful and goal oriented. Each story is unique and no solution universal. I look forward to hearing your unique experience so we can explore what wellness means for you.If you are curious about whether we are a good fit, let's have a 15 minute consultation and figure that out together.************************************** Check out the 8 Essential ADHD Big Brother Episodes, curated and ordered specifically to get you primed and ready to successfully manage your ADHD life!
