The CHAD: A Fallout 76 Story podcast is a highly entertaining and engaging show that has captured the hearts of many fans, including myself. From the moment I started listening to this podcast, I was instantly hooked. The storytelling is top-notch, with well-written scripts and a talented voice cast that brings the characters to life. Whether you're a fan of Fallout or not, this podcast has something for everyone.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is its ability to blend humor, excitement, and dark themes seamlessly. The dialogue is witty and clever, often leading to laugh-out-loud moments. The story itself is gripping and keeps you on the edge of your seat, eager to know what happens next. The inclusion of glitches from the game adds an extra layer of authenticity and comedy to the podcast.
Another standout aspect is the excellent production quality. The audio is clear and crisp, allowing listeners to fully immerse themselves in the world of Fallout 76. The sound effects are well-chosen and enhance the overall experience. Additionally, the diverse range of characters adds depth to the story and keeps it engaging throughout.
While there aren't many negative aspects to mention about this podcast, one potential drawback could be that it heavily relies on knowledge of Fallout 76 lore. While it's not essential to enjoy the podcast, having some familiarity with the game's world and mechanics can enhance the overall experience. However, even without prior knowledge, it's still possible to enjoy this podcast for its humor and storytelling alone.
In conclusion, The CHAD: A Fallout 76 Story podcast is an exceptional show that deserves recognition for its stellar writing, talented voice cast, and immersive storytelling. It appeals to both Fallout fans and non-fans alike with its humor, excitement, and unique perspective on the game's world. If you're looking for a podcast that will keep you entertained and leave you eagerly anticipating each new episode, look no further than The CHAD: A Fallout 76 Story.

In a single day, Appalachia's peacekeepers and independent forces have fallen. The Five-0 New Responders HQ is in ruins, the radio station is empty, mindlessly looping songs and the Overseer is missing. And yet, for Wastelanders and Raiders alike they are rolling into the region to lay down roots of their own, no matter how unintended the consequences of that action may be. The Enclave have arrived from Raven Rock and are squeezing the Judge to get things back under control, little knowing that in a single stroke he now has the power to reset the board. Sanctuary Acres awaits...and this is the story of how they all ended up there.Join Our Discord and talk to us!: https://discord.gg/37GENNHPlease support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/fallout76chadpodcastGUEST: Pete Hines ~ The JudgeGUEST: Alex Cazares ~ RoseAlexander Luthor ~ Chad Johnson, Bear, Dr. Stanislaus BraunKenneth Vigue ~ Narrator, Simon RexSean Baptiste ~ Brooks CalvertLady Devann ~ Atomic Alicet0nik ~ CraneJessica Duval ~ Susie, Guard #5, Ash RoseTaylor Jinx Knight ~ Amata HayesClint Winberry ~ Moose Miller, Guard #6Christian Mower ~ Punch, the Night Wolf, Mr. GutsyFenwa Teryen ~ Charles BishopJessica Marie Dickey ~ Patsy Parker, MaryAnne, Guard #2Keemo Provorse ~ Jake WhiteDr. Mark Hauswirth ~ Brian, Announcer, MODUS, Baldrick, Radical #2Kevin Chenard ~ Mamma Murmrgh, FletcherRobert Solomon ~ High Priest Solomon, Razorhandle, Radical #4Robyn Meif ~ RoperRichard Oliver ~ Guard #3, Guard #7Simon Bugg ~ Guard #1, Guard #8Mary Kalopodes-Saunders ~ Overseer, ComputerJoseph Picard ~ Albert VinceChristopher J. Get tickets to QuakeCon, August 8th to the 10th, 2024: https://quakecon.bethesda.net/en/ This is Kenneth Vigue and I just want to say, I miss you….we all miss you. I wanted to give everyone a positive update on our life situation. As many of you longtime listeners know, our financial situation these past several years has not been great. Like many of you, we have been no strangers to struggle, living paycheck to paycheck and I've been working 7 days a week trying to keep us afloat, crushed by debt that began with long term mental healthcare for my husband Travis for a debilitating condition called C-PTSD and co-occurring conditions. So many of you have reached out, no strangers to either suffering through no fault of your own with mental health or who serve as caregivers for someone does. Everyone's support over the years has meant the world to us and finally we have hope. Next month we finish a cross country move after finally selling our house, eliminating our debt completely and putting us in a much better living situation. We'll be living in Texas, and after just getting back from there after signing on a new house for us I do have to say I have never eaten so well. Once this move is completed by July 16th, I'll be free both mentally and financially to be far more consistent with writing and editing. More of my free time spent in panic mode drumming up work will be mine again, and I can't wait to get back to telling stories in Fallout 76 and beyond. So don't worry…I'm not stopping. I also want to share something exciting: I'll be at QuakeCon in August, from the 8th to the 11th in Grapevine Texas and I would love to see any of you who may be going. It's a truly spectacular event, panels, a truly epic LAN party in the BYOC. Though the convention may have started being all about Quake, today it is the largest yearly convention run by ZeniMax Media, and a celebration of all its studios and games. If you're nearby or are planning to attend, it's well worth a visit, and even if you can't, Bethesda usually has a series of live streams from the event at Twitch.TV/Bethesda. Tickets start at just $16.50 for a day pass or if you want to bring your own computer and grab a spot in the LAN BYOC, you can grab those tickets for $75. Again, I really miss you…I miss this. I'm so excited and frankly relieved for the next chapter in our personal life, but also the brighter horizons of my creative one. Care for yourself, take time to get out and see the world this summer. Unplugging for a while is chicken soup for the soul, it broadens the mind, declutters our thinking and allows less of the shadows to gain purchase. I'll be back in a few months, but I hope to see you in the Wasteland.
Listen in for a sneak peek of our next feature length episode, "Vault-Tec Rises!". This year some major life changes will be occurring that will impact the show schedule this year but will help me in a big way in terms of being able to create more consistently in the future. Please give this a listen. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/fallout76podcast/message

We are still working on part 2 of Little Sanctuary of Horrors! Rushing to get it done. Had some issues with work and home the past few days that derailed things. Working this afternoon and evening on finishing touches. We DID create a piece of bonus content I want to give to you all! Richard Loftus, our new editor and producer who will be helping me get things done faster, created a series of Halloween soundscapes. Growing up I have memories of that ratty old orange cassette tape blasting out our windows for trick or treaters, so I had an idea for us to create the first Fallout 76 trick or treating soundscapes to bring the horrors of Appalachia to your street and home. I'm incredibly proud of what he's created and as you'll hear, he is incredibly skilled at telling stories with audio. Here's a link to download these tracks to have without commentary for you to do whatever you'd like with. It's our gift to you all and the community! If you can help and are willing to help, it would be appreciated: https://www.gofundme.com/f/ken-from-chad-a-fallout-76-podcast-medical-debt I haven't and we haven't been okay for a long time now. I've been urged to tell our story and ask for help, how one night changed everything for us. This podcast, the charity work we do has been the only thing I've clung to that keeps me going and has been an outlet for me as a caregiver. Behind the scenes what we've been through the last 7 years with C-PTSD and Travis' mental health have been a nightmare we've been fighting out way out of. I don't know what else to do, so I'm asking for help this year. I've been suffering in silence and haven't even told friends the scope of this. Q: Does this impact the podcast? A: Not in the slightest...as this has been an ongoing struggle as long as the show has existed. I'm not going anywhere. The cost of producing the show also isn't a further financial burden because it is 100% funded by Patrons to whom I am forever endebted, because I couldn't have sustained our quality of sound and even video elements this long without them. We have more stories to come...I just wish I could deliver them to you faster. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/fallout76podcast/message

As the opening night of the new Rusty Pick winds down, a shockwave tears across the sky as Sugar Grove is destroyed. To the north, the Archivist tracks Commander Johns and Bishop to Vault 51 and uncovers an experiment in progress controlled by a new powerful threat to Appalachia. Elsewhere, Commander Johns and Charles Bishop find themselves trapped in a fiery hellscape future in a neverending fight to the death as a ring of flames draws closer. These episodes are in loving memory to long time Bethesda Game Studios developer Ferret Baudoin, who recorded his lines prior to his untimely passing. His family has graciously allowed us to use them posthumously and it is fitting that in these episodes he will save the day, one last time. The remainder of our season ad revenue from these episodes will be benefiting the global crisis and humanitarian work of Project Hope. After decades of abandonment, the neon lights are glowing at the Rusty Pick tavern as Chad's gang hosts a grand reopening celebration. As new faces drift through the crowd, outsiders have come in search of the "Treasure of Appalachia" and one group will stumble upon something far more valuable. Elsewhere Commander Johns and Charles Bishop still are hunting for Hugo Warren, their trail ending at Sugar Grove. With the help of an old ally, they uncover dark secrets that raise even more questions about Project Lazarus and the Appalachia Experiment. The Judge is on the move, about to fire the first shot that will mark the beginning of the Battle for Appalachia. The board is set, the pieces are in place. It all starts now. The holidays have returned to Appalachia and with it, a dusty band of wandering performers led by the enigmatic, yet haunted Lord Alastair Olivier (Wes Johnson). Still changed in spirit since performing, "A Christmas Carol" last year, a heart once cold has begun to thaw and with it comes the terrible yearning to recapture a lost memory. A rare collaboration from the factions in the region has resulted in the rebuilding of WSAZ-TV, West Virginia's first television. A lost holiday classic is about to be recreated and broadcast...but sometimes nostalgia can be a trap. Staged as part of the Fallout For Hope charity drive to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, we are joined by Bethesda's Pete Hines with the who's who of video game voice actors from Fallout 3, 4 and 76 and beyond. EDITOR'S NOTE: As this was performed live via the Internet, in some spots audio quality isn't our usual standard, and we hope you'll forgive it. I am heartbroken to share that Ferret Baudoin, Bethesda Senior Designer and Lead Quest Designer and Lead Designer on Fallout 76 passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 15th following a fight with cancer. He had recorded lines for 2 multi-part episodes arriving next month: "Rusty Pick Raiders, Sugar Grove Secrets" and "...Meanwhile in Nuclear Winter". His family have asked for some help financially for his children. Any and all donations and support are welcome and I've linked their GoFundMe and Buy Me A Coffee campaigns to help his children. https://www.buymeacoffee.com/ferretbaudoin https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-ferrets-children-go-to-college Family, friends and colleagues are sharing memories and messages on Facebook and I'm sure they'd love to hear from gamers who loved him for his work: https://facebook.com/groups/longliveferretbaudoin/posts/634507764847535/ His light will truly be missed by many, including myself. But on October 10th, 1997 a game that was almost cancelled twice, created by a small team of passionate gamers and developers was presented to the world. Fallout. The epic minisode series written by George Wolf concludes with this final episode. MaryAnne is hot on the trail of Brian, Moose, Punch and Grahm, but an old enemy from Grahm's past has returned with a vengeance. We are joined this episode by actor/voice actor Chip Joslin, the original voice of Grahm in Fallout 76 who is voicing the villainous Blackskull. The final episode of Briognak The Scouting Barbarian begins now. This episode also features again veteran actor Simon Bugg as our old time radio announcer and podcaster/voice actor Brad Williams as Jim! Support the show on Patreon for special perks and join us for our script rehearsals: https://www.patreon.com/fallout76chadpodcast This is Kenneth Vigue and yes, I miss you too. We've been on a short mid-season break both writing, editing and producing the last episodes of season 2 and they are incredibly ambitious. Part of the delay in getting them out the door is they've been complicated to write as all of the plot threads the past two seasons will very soon come to fruition as the Battle For Appalachia looms. The other part is talks and arranging for so many of the original voice actors to join us, reprising their roles for good cause. The end of our season will be done for charity, supporting the work of Project Hope. I know it's taking a bit to get these stories out to you, but trust me when I say it will be worth it for you, so apologies and know that I appreciate your patience and support. I also wanted to share that tomorrow, August 19th at 5pm Eastern Time we'll be hosting a table read for a future episode titled, “Meanwhile in Nuclear Winter”. You may not that our Patreon patrons are always invited behind the scenes with us for rehearsals. They are always full read-throughs, so they will contain spoilers. You'll find the link to our Patreon in the show notes. This weekend I'll also be live on Twitch for QuakeCon with some of the Bethesda team. We'll be doing some fundraising and playing some truly unique games we've designed in game for the Bethesda developers to play with us. It starts tomorrow evening with Dweller Drop Game at 7pm Eastern. On Saturday I'll be hosting Apocalypse Squares with the celebrity voice actors from Fallout 3, New Vegas 4 and 76 joining us for a game show at 2pm Eastern. Later that evening we'll be doing a final event called the JunkaShine Run with Bethesda Art Director Jon Rush. It includes some festive Nukashine drinking that would make Moose proud in a dash for the trash. That'll be at 7pm Eastern. Our next episode, “Rusty Pick Raiders, Sugar Grove Secrets” is in final editing and dropping soon. If you listen closely…a terrifying song is just over the horizon…and with it will come a Nuclear Winter. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/fallout76podcast/message
This is a very different minisode, performed as a live webcam play on Zoom for charity, but I'm sharing it here because it was epic. He will find his unlikely fetch quest heroes in an unlikely place: Appalachia. Some months have passed since the events of Dark Hallowe'en and the gang are still picking up the pieces. Some remember what happened, others do not, but in the wake of Mr. Dark's departure shadows hang over Appalachia. In the distance a cloud of dust heralds something that will change everything. People...returning…Settlers and Raiders alike and as we'll discover, they all came in search of something. Some come for treasure, others come for answers, and for Chad? He finally has found home. Our series of minisodes continues as you learn a little more about some of our most beloved characters while we are editing 2 different large-scale stories. For most of us, at one point or another in our life, we've experienced loss. Whether it be the death of a loved one, a friend, a job, maybe it's the loss of a dream or ideal and the list goes on. It can be a painful and lonely experience, or it might even be relieving in some cases. At the end of the day though, it leaves a void in our lives. It changes us in some way or another. They say time heals all wounds, that's not to say that life is ever the same, but life does indeed go on. In this minisode written by George Wolf we'll learn a little more about Solomon and what he was like before he donned his robes to become the High Priest for the Mothman. You know life can be unpredictable, but we'll soon learn that it's not always about the perk cards that you are dealt as much as it is what you do with them that makes the difference. The saying goes “Tis a season and time for everything.” A time to mourn and a time to renew. There is also a time to go Simping for the Mothman… Kenneth Vigue ~ Mothman Robert Solomon ~ High Priest Taylor Jinx Knight ~ Amata Hayes Clint Winberry ~ Moose Miller Christian Mower ~ Mr. Malted Jessica Duval ~ Betsy Wilson Mary Kalopedes-Saunders ~ Overseer Joseph Picard ~ Albert Vince Alexander Luthor ~ Chad Clint Winberry ~ Moose Jessica Dickey ~ Patsy Official Site: https://fallout76podcast.com Join Our Discord: https://discord.gg/fnBFR6Rn8N Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/fallout76chadpodcast Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/fallout76podcast/ Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/fo76creators/ YouTube: http://bit.ly/YouTubeChad Email and business inquiries: fchad@fallout76podcast.com I hope to see you all in the Wasteland... It's now a few months since the events of Dark Hallowe'en and the holidays arrive in Appalachia. While Simon remains frozen and Chad and the gang celebrate a restored Susie (more on that next episode), a strange travelling caravan of performers arrives in Appalachia. Led by Lord Alastair Olivier (Wes Johnson), after their cast is decimated by a Scorched Beast, a casting call is held to refill their ranks and they get some fairly unusual responses. Staged as part of the Fallout For Hope charity drive to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, we are joined by Bethesda's Pete Hines and Sean Baptiste with the who's who of Bethesda voice actors from Fallout 3, 4 and 76 including Courtenay Taylor, Jan Johns, Craig Sechler and Mike Rosson. The curtain is about to open on their final rehearsal, and it goes about as well as you'd expect. EDITOR'S NOTE: As this was performed live via the Internet, in some spots audio quality isn't our usual standard, and we hope you'll forgive it. Written and adapted by Kenneth Vigue. When: Friday, December 17th @ 6pm EST Where: https://www.twitch.tv/chadfallout76podcast This is Kenneth Vigue wishing you the merriest of Christmases, the happiest of holidays and the warmest of season's eatings. I want to update you on what we've been up to. Since December 4th, we've organized a global superstream charity initiative to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital under the umbrella of an initiative I started last year: Fallout For Hope. Over 300 Fallout streamers and content creators from around the globe working together to raise funds for life saving surgeries for kids fighting for their lives at a time of year when they should be home. As of right now we've raised over $122 thousand dollars with 5 days to go. The pinnacle event the cast and crew has been working on however is a live broadcast episode of this podcast, with the cast and some exceptionally special guest voice actors bringing Charles' Dickens A Christmas Carol to Appalachia. This live broadcast pairs live performance with stage performance on movie scale soundstages built in Fallout 76. The cast is a dream with iconic voice actor Wes Johnson, voice of Sheogorath in Elder Scrolls and loads of Fallout characters is starring as Lord Alastair Olivier whose travelling caravan of performers arrive in Appalachia to bring that classic holiday story to life for raiders, settlers and Brotherhood alike. As you can imagine, it goes downhill from there. Bethesda's Pete Hines will be joining us again as Jacob Marley. Alex will not be playing Chad, but Oliver's protégé Tarquin Blowhard…and …ehm Alex came up with that name. Also joining us are Courtenay Taylor who voiced the female Sole Survivor in Fallout 4, Jan Johns whose voice work has been heard in Fallout 3, 4 and 76 from Bittercup way back when to Enola Walker in 76. Mike Rosson who voiced almost all memorable ghouls in Fallout 3 including Gob and even Charon. Craig Sechler whom you know better as that vault bully and original Chad in Fallout 3 Butch DeLoria. Bethesda's Sean Baptiste is also joining us as the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come and Twitch streamer Dust Monkey will be playing Fred Scrooge's nephew. From our cast, Jessica Dickey and Dr. Mark Hauswirth will be brining Brian and MaryAnne to the stage to annoy Lord Alastair and Dr. Mark's children Logan and Sophia will also be joining us again. Last but not least that silver voice on the microphone Fenwa Teryen will be playing a very musically gifted Peter Cratchit. This performance will be for charity with us dropping it after airs into your feed to enjoy as a standalone episode. It'll be happening this Friday starting at 6pm Est at twitch.tv/chadfallout76podcast I very much hope I'll see you there and of course, in the Wasteland. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/fallout76podcast/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/fallout76podcast/support

Due to a salary cutback at work that was very unexpected, I've been working in the evening to make up for the loss with extra projects. This setback the editing timeline of part 3 of Dark Hallowe'en by a few weeks and for that I'm very sorry. Christian Mower is helping editing it now and we're planning on wrapping it up next weekend. Again, very sorry...but it was not at all something I foresaw. In other news tonight is our 500k listens LIVE show and we have some things to share... --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/fallout76podcast/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/fallout76podcast/support

On behalf of the entire cast and crew, thank you for half a million listens. There is nothing more naked to the very core of you than the act of creation. To put your work and your soul out there is a terrifying thing, and I never imagined we'd ever get this far, to be ranked in the top 0.5% of all podcasts worldwide. And that's on all of you, all of our Patrons and listeners, and the team at Bethesda who heard a punchline about a shallow grave and welcomed us to a stage. If not for Fallout 76 specifically it's likely I never would've started writing again. All of you gave me back something I thought I lost long ago and it's a debt I can never repay…but I will certainly try with every story we tell and the work that we do. Even bigger thanks to our amazingly talented cast and crew who take words on a page and bring them to life with such depth, humor, and complexity. To celebrate this milestone, we welcome all of you to join us for a live cast party on Saturday, November 6th at 5pm EDT at https://Twitch.TV/ChadFallout76Podcast. Buckle up, because we're going to tell you stories you haven't heard. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/fallout76podcast/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/fallout76podcast/support
On a lonely stretch of West Virginia road behind train tracks long abandoned a man long in years sits with his grandson carving a pumpkin just like this one. The Great War has not yet come to pass, but this will be his final Halloween on Earth. Before he goes, he has one final act of kindness for a world he will leave behind. A reckoning is about to occur, one that many years later will have consequences for Chad, Simon and the gang.
