Welcome back to the Creative Business Marketing podcast, it's been a while. I'm Menekse Stewart, and I thought I'd give you a little catch-up since my last episode of the podcast aired in the first half of 2021.This year has been incredibly difficult for so many people, and after a few conversations with people in my Instagram DMs, I wanted to get back into the podcast swing of things by giving you a series of pep talks to encourage you if you're struggling. These are just reflections and musings from my own experience - I'm not a therapist or a counsellor, but I know what the bottom of the pit feels like, I know the weight of responsibility and the emotions that come with that. I know what it's like to pour your passion and gifts into something. I know what it's like to feel completely overwhelmed about how to move forward. I know what it feels like to be uncertain about the future. So these episodes are reflections on feelings and humanity in business. They're a little bit longer than my normal episodes, but my hope in making them was to create some space for your feelings to feel validated and to maybe provide some encouragement for and language around the emotions that so many people are feeling right now as they navigate the business space.  You are not alone. And if you feel at the end of your rope, if you feel darkness crowding in, please reach out to someone. You can find resources via MIND here: https://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/guides-to-support-and-services/crisis-services/helplines-listening-services/If you find the series helpful or encouraging, I would be super grateful if you could leave a review and share it with your fellow business friends.
