Basketball season has returned! On this special edition of the CSU RamsCast, we hear from head coach Niko Medved and stars Nico Carvacho, Anthony Bonner and Deion James. What are their thoughts on Medved and how has the culture changed at Colorado State from a basketball standpoint? You're going to want to listen to the end of the podcast for those insights, and one thing's for sure, this season will be much different than the ones we've seen in the recent past here in Fort Collins. But we kick off the podcast with Homecoming week for the CSU Football team, their big victory over the San Jose State Spartans last Saturday and their chance to win two in a row this week at home against New Mexico. After that comeback win against the Spartans, two Rams were honored by Pro Football Focus, we look at those two exemplary young men, and then preview the Rams-Lobos game which kicks off at 2 p.m. MT at Sonny Lubick Field at Canvas Stadium this Saturday. And, in a new event, the men's basketball team is putting on a free and open to the public scrimmage on Homecoming Saturday at 10 a.m. All that need to know information and so much more in this edition of your RamsCast.

The Rams are coming off a loss to Florida on Saturday in a game where the final score of 48-10 was not a true gauge for how the game went. Perhaps I am looking through my Green & Gold glasses when I say that, but that's the way I feel. I will talk with sophomore Ellison Hubbard about that contest and the upcoming match-up against the Redbirds on Saturday. Then we switch it up this week as I welcome former Ram football player and current CSU administrator and facility member Albert Bimper. He is the Senior Associate AD for Diversity and Inclusion and is one of the many reasons why Colorado State is a leader on a global scale.
Audio highlights from the Colorado State Rams 34-27 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks from Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins.
After a long, long wait, game week is finally here, Rams fans.Colorado State hosts Hawaii this Saturday night at Sonny Lubick Field at Canvas Stadium and we give you game-by-bame predictions of how your Rams will finish this year. Before that, we go deep into the first depth chart of the season. On Saturday, the Rams went out to Canvas Stadium and played football.OK, really, they practiced, but it was a game-like situation and the first such situation this team has been put through. What did we take away from the scrimmage? Well, we go "First and 10" to give you 10 quick takeaways and then we break down three of them further, in much deeper detail.K.J. Carta-Samuels, Rashaad Boddie and Warren Jackson are those three details and we hear from Mike Bobo on his key players. What did Bobo like about what Carta-Samuels has done? We also hear straight from Carta-Samuels -- the likely starting quarterback of the Rams -- how he's prepared and how he's learned the offense so well, so quickly. It wasn't all good in the scrimmage; who struggled? We look into that. And, later in the podcast, we hear from key member of the defensive backfield, Jordan Fogal, about those DBs, we talk about Joe Parker standing up to the ESPN GameDay people about when college football season really kicks off and we talk a little Next Level Rams.
