Welcome back to this “special edition” of 85 Yards, Election Day. No we don't really talk about the election, but that's not what you're here for anyway. We learn Chayton shoots Whistlepig, a condensed version of Wam!, why no one likes kickers (and some pretty interesting stats along the way), and we officially dub our Rystrodamus/Nyestrodamus picks segment as: PickPocket.Chayton also continues singing if you're into that….
A week off and it never felt better to be back! After our little hiatus last week, we bring to you lovely 8-5-y-ers Episode 9, where we talk sweets, NFL picks, and who should be the #1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, and so much more. Oh, and Chayton sings some songs which could be worth paying attention to for future episodes…..

Tread Safely month continues with an episode of the "hyper-boiled" Cinemax series Banshee called "Tribal." When Hood refuses to hand over a deputy Billy Raven to Chayton Littlestone, his gang surrounds the Banshee sheriff's station and shoots it to high hell. Unfortunately for Hood, this puts a stop to his plan to quit and endangers his revenge against noted Amish gangster Kai Proctor. As the action intensifies, it's up to Hood, deputies Lotus, Kelly, Raven, and Bunker -- a former Neo-Nazi applying to the forces -- to keep a handful of civilians, prisoners, and Proctor alive. But will the situation force Hood to make an alliance with his arch-rival? Erik and Justin dig into Banshee, one of Justin's favorite shows. He also suggests the name "Gary" as one of the sillier names in fiction. Erik compares Chayton to both Henry Rollins and Josh Brolin and is surprised to discover Bunker on Iron Fist. Justin expresses his appreciation for Kelly and the way the show makes decay look gorgeous. Both he and Justin start calling Hood "Dick Whitman" for reasons that will become clear. Details continue to matter for an episode which feels like a love letter to Assault on Precinct 13. Also, they both lament the lack of Hoon Lee's Job in the episode and Justin decodes its credit sequence.
Hey everyone, Chayton here, and I know what you're thinking, wait a second, it's Monday where is my daily dose of content from Mind Mesh. Well, as most of you I'm sure are aware, Covid-19 is currently sweeping across our planet, and in the United States, the CDC has recommended we all follow social distancing practices. Staying apart from each other makes it pretty difficult for me and Fish to produce Podcasts and Movie Talks, that and we live in different states, with that being said Mind Mesh and Movie Talks are going on a quasi-Hiatus. We have a few weeks of recording ready to go up but we are going to be shifting to a biweekly schedule instead of a weekly schedule to try our best to make sure we're getting out a constant stream of content for our listeners. This means we're going to have to get creative, recording podcasts in remote locations is easy, recording Movie Talks, not so much, so don't expect to see commentary tracks as frequently as you see a podcast during this time. So, to reiterate, Mind Mesh is going on a semi-hiatus, we're going to try out best to get at least a podcast out to you every other week, but don't hold us to that, you could be seeing shorter podcast episodes, a random mish-mash of guests or no guests at all, experimental ideas that don't typically fit the format that Mind Mesh is accustomed to. Hopefully soon Fish and I will be able to get back to doing what we do, and you can mesh with our mind once again, on a normal schedule.
In today's episode, our good friend Elijah finally crawls out of his cage to talk about the Christmas Season with his good friends Chayton and Fisher. Another metahuman from the bus named Mina Chayton begins attacking Central City, specifically stealing pieces of Black Bison jewellery, with her abilities of being able to bring statues to life, including a statue of a sabre toothed tiger. When Barry and Ralph catch up to her, she dazes Barry with a caveman statue and attempts a getaway. Ralph chooses to stop her, with damage being caused to power lines, landing a little girl in the hospital. Ralph feels remorse for his actions, but is comforted by Barry. Chayton escapes CCPD, going after the last Black Bison necklace held at the museum. Barry and Ralph confront her, with Chayton claiming the jewellery belonged to her family. She subsequently brings a dinosaur skeleton to life, with Ralph detaining it to protect the security guard. Barry tricks Chayton, by throwing a china bowl into the air, exploiting Chayton’s respect for history, allowing him to arrest her. Ralph reveals he gave the Black Bison jewellery back to Chayton’s family before visiting the little girl in the hospital, using his abilities to entertain her. Meanwhile, in an attempt to make friends, Wells brings several different versions of himself from different Earths to Earth 1.
