Hello my name is Tonya Sanders and I am 37 and I have been sick on and off since middle school, but about 10 yrs ago I was diagnosed with advanced lupus, fibromyalgia, and a million other things..Let’s just say we’ve been through ALOT in these past 10 years. Here are just some of health things I went through. Stroke,heart and liver problems ,bacterial meningitis 2 times, coma,pain pumps,abscess,systemic fungal infections,sepsis,peg tubes,ports, PICC lines, blood transfusions, multiple surgeries,100s of infections in and out of hospital every month.Then one day I had an appointment with pain management and they told me they were going to cut my pain medication back because of opioid crisis going on!!!! So the next day I started withdrawing BAD. Started off with nausea,then came horrific pain ,anxiety,vomiting,suicidal,skin crawling.....So I tried to tuff it out for 3 more days,my husband and I we couldn’t do it anymore.We had been researching medical marijuana prior to them wanting to decrease medication but I had never tried it because I was so scared. So I called a friend and had them bring over some medical cannabis by the time I walked back to my porch from trying it everything I had been experiencing for the past 10yrs and last 4 days was  GONE!!!!!!  Ever since that day my whole life has changed This has been my MIRACLE,!Plus I’m down to just 2 medicines for my lupus and that is it!!!! Also my rheumatologist just told me that my lupus is in REMISSION!!!!! I know for a fact that this plant saved my life and it is my mission now in life to help educate and spread awareness about this miracle plant!!!!!!Please let Medical Marijuana be a patients first choice instead of lastThank you for taking time to read and hope my story can help others!!!

John Turmel Born in Quebec, currently lives in Branford, Ontario -occupation: Professional gambler Also known as: The Engineer, The Gambler, The Banking System Engineer, Bank Fighter Extraordinaire, TajProfessor, Great Canadian Gambler, KingofthePaupers, SmartestMan.Ca Mr. Turmel was cited by The Guinness Book of World Records for holding the record for running in the most elections, and for losing the most elections. He says he has run 92 times in municipal, provincial and federal elections. Campaigned for : -the legalization of gambling -the adoption of "Local Employment Trading Systems" (LETS) which are interest-free barter arrangements, -the legalization of marijuana -He has participated in several protests outside of Canada's major banking institutions, saying that bank interest promotes poverty and starvation in the third world. -He frequently refers to Jesus as a radical debt reformer. - He has argued that Jesus died to bring salvation for mankind in this world, rather than in an afterlife. -Turmel was convicted of drug possession in March 2006, resulting from a one-man protest on Parliament Hill in Ottawa three years earlier. Turmel had taken three kilograms of marijuana to the hill, and openly smoked a joint in front of politicians and security officials. He announced plans to appeal. -On January 13, 2010 Turmel appeared on the CBC television show Dragons' Den pitching his Local exchange trading system scheme, asking the panel of entrepreneurs to invest $100,000 for a program which would use poker chips from a local casino as currency at local businesses in Brantford, Ontario.

On Tuesday November 2, 2015 Ohio voters have the chance to end the prohibition of cannabis (Marijuana) and legalize for the ability for anyone 21 and up to grow up to four flowering plants, purchase cannabis, consume cannabis, start small businesses for the manufacture of and sale of products for the use of cannabis. 1159 shops will be allowed to open, a $24M International Cannabinoid Research Facility is seeking a home in Ohio to advance the science and research because of Ohio voting to amend their constitution. This ballot amendment is referred to as Issue 3. Sponsored by ResponsibleOhio it was put into motion be a group of 50 investors to open 10 competing grow facilities for the first four years of the change in law. These ten facilities would compete to supply enough cannabis for all 1159 shops. These facilities will sublease to small growers in Ohio, allowing for boutique grows. Ohio voters and longtime grassroots supporters of cannabis are opposed to this oligopoly and see it as a free market issue, voting to choose to continue prohibition and the black market, rather than have government regulations stop the ability for anyone wanting to start their own grow facility like Colorado currently has. This very controversial subject has divided many, waiting for the day they can see prohibition end AND have a free and open market. Many compare it to growing tomatoes, but tomatoes were never a schedule 1 controlled substance that will still be banned federally after the vote for or against Issue 3. This podcast was recorded at Keller Law Offices on Thursday October 29th at the weekly Greenfight meeting. We featured many different people at this meeting, which were pro Issue 3. I had my friend and fellow podcrafter Drew Sample of the Sample Hour podcast, who is opposed to Issue 3 to submit questions for the podcast. The Podcast itself is about and 1 hour 30 minutes.
