Red Ranger Aaron and Blue Ranger Josh are here to talk about the 20th anniversary of Power Rangers Wild Force. Wild Force is the tenth season of Power Rangers. It premiered on Fox Kids on February 9, 2002, lately moving to ABC Kids. The finale aired November 16 that same year. The season follows the adventures of six new Rangers. The team consists of Cole (Ricardo Medina, Jr.), Taylor (Alyson Kiperman), Max (Phillip Jeanmarie), Danny (Jack Guzman), Alyssa (Jessica Rey), and Merrick (Philip Andrew). Wild Force's powers and Zords are animal based. Together they fight the evil Orgs. Josh and Aaron discuss the impact Wild Force had on their childhood before going into the premiere. They also look at the episode “Forever Red,” in which Cole the Red Ranger teams up with Red Rangers of seasons past. For more Power Rangers, you can listen to the Sarnecky brothers' podcast on the Mighty Morphin movie. Uncensored Radio's Guilty Pleasures is excited to chat with special guest Austin St. John aka “Jason Lee Scott,” the original Red Ranger, on Wednesday May 14, 2014. Austin St. John is best known for his role as “Jason Lee Scott,” the Red Power Ranger on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. At the age of 17, when the series premiered on the Fox Network, he was the youngest member of the original cast, but was also the most experienced at martial arts, which was integrated into his character on the show. Austin left the series mid-way through the second season, due to a contract and pay dispute, and was replaced as the Red Ranger on the show by Steve Cardenas. St. John later returned to the franchise as the Gold Ranger in Power Rangers: Zeo and as a guest star in the secondPower Rangers movie. His last Power Rangers appearance was in the tenth anniversary special “Forever Red,” where he joined nine other Red Ranger actors. After several years of service overseas St. John began making convention appearances throughout 2014 including a return to Power Morphicon in Los Angeles.

In an earlier incarnation, Anna Chi was a poster child for the Chinese Cultural Revolution, when her letter to her father, written as a child, urged her dad to listen to Chairman Mao and the Party. She became known as Yong Hong ("Forever Red"). Filmed in Surrey, British Columbia, Chi's latest film, Dim Sum Funeral, uses the occasion of a "traditional Chinese" funeral of the family matriarch to bring a dysfunctional family together, sparking surprising conversation and new understandings -- as well as an unexpected ending. Interviewer: Daniel C. Tsang, Host of Subversity.
