On this episode Jay is joined by Aaron Neuwirth (@aaronsps4) to be groupies on the Sharknado world tour for the fifth instalment in the Sharknado franchise, Global Swarming! On this episode they discuss how to become a human helicopter, pink upgrades, and shark-themed booby traps, plus find out which cast member gave a revelatory acting performance for Jay (in a different movie)!
We are back on our crazy train as we kick off "no one watches this November" with a return to the Sharknado Franchise. This episode is silly, goofy and funny and see's the return of an upgraded Broken Spirit much to Marc's dismay and disgust.

GGACP celebrates the birthday (August 20th) of Emmy-winning TV host (and native New Yorker) Al Roker by revisiting this funny, freewheeling conversation about local kiddie show hosts, the lost art of ventriloquism, the complicated genius of Charles M. Schulz and Al's book “You Look So Much Better in Person.” Also, Fred Flintstone enjoys a smoke, Red Buttons leads a double life, Willard Scott becomes the original Ronald McDonald and Gilbert and Al co-star in “Sharknado 5: Global Swarming.” PLUS: Willie Tyler & Lester! “The Dick Tracy Show”! “It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World”! It's another great big giant show, as El'Ahrai and John welcome The Blonde in Front, Cati Glidewell herself, for another round of reviews! This week, the three of them talk "May December", "Saltburn", "Sharknado 5: Global Swarming", and "Thanksgiving"! (One of those may not--strictly speaking--be true.) But wait, there's more! We also have an interview with "It's A Wonderful Knife" star Jane Widdop! So how about that! Plus newsbits, questions, video picks, and more! So give it a listen! You're not a Nazi, Jojo. You're a ten-year-old kid who likes dressing up in a funny uniform and wants to be part of a club.
It's time to hang up our chainsaws this week as we finish off the Sharknado franchise and rank all 6 films!

Special guests are becoming a regular thing for the Bad Dads and this week is no exception as we are joined by Adam from top NFL fantasy football podcast and the first to center around charity, Sleeperwire (sleeperwire.com).We start things off with a motor vehicle top 5 which of course doesn't take too long to be derailed and go off track completely.Coming up with decent car based puns is exhausting so we stop to refuel on the 2017 SyFy movie classic Sharknado 5: Global Swarming. Can there really only be a pentalogy of these movies? What are the themes, motifs and hidden layers of this cinematic masterpiece? It's absolutely no exaggeration to say we watched this movie. But what did we think of it? Listen in to find out.We race towards the finish line with a review of the beloved 90's classic X-Men: The Animated Series, and like a car with no wheels we work tirelessly to finish our review. You can usually find the Bad Dads annoying people on twitter (@dads_film) or on Facebook and you can find Sleeperwire on twitter (@sleeperwireshow)and here: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/fantasy-football-sleeperwire-podcast/id1054506863Thanks for listening!

Scientists are now saying that genetically modified mosquitoes developed by Oxitec may have impacted the actual genetics of the natural mosquito populations where these bioengineered bugs were released and consequently, made them stronger. Now, the population of these super hybrid mosquitoes has grown and are carriers of Zika, Yellow Fever, and Dengue. Today on The Neil haley Show, The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview Porsha Williams of Real Housewives of Atlanta. Airing Tuesday, June 19 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) – PORSHA WILLIAMS (“The Real Housewives of Atlanta) MAKES APPEARANCE On LOVE CONNECTION, hosted by Andy Cohen, two singles will be sent on three blind dates each, with the hope of finding a love connection. They will then tell all in front of a live studio audience, as their dates also react. Unlike Season One, the primary dater doesn't have to choose between money or love...but if the audience correctly predicts who made a love connection, the dater wins $10,000! Don't miss the all-new “Kirstie & Joe” episode of LOVE CONNECTION airing Tuesday, June 5 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Not only is Porsha one of the stars of Bravo's #1 show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but she is also the co-host of the nationally syndicated talk show Dish Nation. Recently, she co-starred alongside Vivica A. Fox and Columbus Short in the onstage remake of Two Can Play That Game. Since then, she has developed a passion for animated and on-screen scripted projects. Her fan-favorite voice can be heard as Carlotta in the animated movie CarGo, where she collaborated with Haley Joel Osment and Melissa Joan Hart. On the screen, Porsha shows off her acting skills playing the step-mother in TV One's Steppin' Back to Love, and made multiple other guest appearances in shows such as Fox's Star and films such as Sharknado 5: Global Swarming. She also appeared on the first season of The New Celebrity Apprentice.

Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and William Thrasher discuss Superman 2. The rebellious Kryptonians Zod (Terence Stamp), Non (Jack O'Halloran), and Ursa (Sarah Douglas) have broken free from the Phantom Zone to cause chaos on Earth. Can Superman (Christopher Reeve) stop them in time? Featuring more action than the original, Superman 2 is a fan favorite of the series. To complicate things, there are multiple cuts since director Richard Donner was replaced by Richard Lester part way through production. Superman 2 lacks the heart of the original, but has a great deal more spectacle. Thrasher enjoyed the documentary Too Funny To Fail about the all too brief Dana Carvey Show. He also caught up with Sharknado 5: Global Swarming, which improves in its second half. Mat finished the single player campaign and DLC for Star Wars: Battlefront 2 and found it to be kind of tedious with a lot of uninspiring missions involving guarding characters from a horde of enemies. He also watched Kingsman: The Golden Circle and found it amusing yet not as funny as the original. Listen to this episode while tossing bad guys through billboards for maximum enjoyment. After a week-long hiatus, Steve Norman and Owen Hughes are back with a new episode and a slightly less conventional format than usual. With the premiere of Sharknado 5: Global Swarming airing on the SyFy Channel at the same time as the pair sat down to record, we cover the usual movie chat whilst dipping in and out of the Asylum's unfathomably popular franchise. In between all of the moaning about terrible acting, dialogue and inane celebrity cameos, Steve and Owen chat about Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon's Rick and Morty over on Netflix, and HBO's penultimate season of the critically acclaimed fantasy epic, Game of Thrones. We even turn our heads away from the car-crash of a TV film for long enough to discuss Luc Besson's $200m space opera Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, more incomprehensible disaster action in Arctic Blast, and the surprisingly entertaining cannibal b-movie, Blood Diner. We'll be back to our usual schedule next week for with a review of Atomic Blonde. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

My generation knows Ian Ziering from his character as "Steve Sanders" on Beverly Hills 90210. It was a show that defined a decade and you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who has never heard of it. Now a whole new generation is getting to know Ian as "Fin Shepard" in the Sharknado franchise. This epic battle of man vs shark is arguably another decade-defining role in his career, but not in the way he thought it would be. SHARKNADO 5 -- Pictured: Ian Ziering as Fin Shepard -- (Photo by: Yana Blajeva/Syfy) Ian tells me when he read the first Sharknado script back in 2013 his immediate reaction was to pass. He thought the sci-fi mash-up of sharks and tornadoes would ruin his career. But thanks to the urging of his wife Erin, who had one child in her arms and another on the way, he took it. Now it's become a global phenomenon and fans can't get enough of the campy fish franchise. Ian, his wife Erin and their two girls Mia and Penna In fact Ian says a lot of his career choices are different now that he's a father. He's casting a wider net (pun intended!) for projects from producing to directing so he can support his family. We also talked about how much the industry has changed since the days of 90210. He says it took three years for that show to gain the public momentum that it took Sharknado to get in one night. He credits that to the power of social media. Fans can now immediately get on the bandwagon of a show they like and tell the world to watch. And the fans at Comic-Con are a big reason why Sharknado now has a 5th installment. We talked about the power SDCC has to propel new projects into the spotlight and get fans involved. Chris and I went to Comic-Con, as you know, and had so much fun watching Ian and the cast of Sharknado 5: Global Swarming during their panel. The fans really love these movies! Yes they are cheesy, campy, and over the top, but they are fun and the fans love that about them. As Ian says, everyone is in on the joke except for the people in the movie which makes it all the more fun to watch. We were treated to a sneak preview of Sharknado 5: Global Swarming and the crowd went nuts! This time around Ian and his co-stars Tara Reid (American Pie) and Cassie Scerbo (Bring It On: In It To Win It) are joined by a ton of guest stars. Fabio, Chris Kattan, and Charo are just a few of the stars signed on for this latest shark adventure. Ian still seems in awe of the fact that so many people want to be a part of this Sharknado wave. A wave he says could continue for at least 3 more movies. And of course I had to ask him about a possible Beverly Hills 90210 reunion. To hear what he says and the rest of what we talked about, listen to my podcast! Sharknado 5: Global Swarming airs Sunday Aug. 6th on the SyFy Network. Check out the latest trailer below for a sneak peek!
