Inspired by his Grandmother’s gospel records, a four- year-old Patrick climbed atop a piano bench and began to play by ear. Thus began his lifetime love affair with gospel music, a passion which has consumed and driven him…   Patrick attended Norfolk State University and received the Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal music and in 2016 he completed his Masters Degree at Liberty University. While attending NSU, he was appointed director of the Voices of Inspiration Gospel Choir and won many awards and choral competitions with them. For 10 years, Patrick has blessed the NSU Voices of Inspirations with his desire to "Sing unto the Lord a New Song." Together they praised God almighty, offering songs of praise that warm the souls of those proclaiming the spirit of the Lord.   Licensed to preach in 2002, Patrick has served as the Worship Pastor to one of the top-tiered churches within Hampton Roads Region. Revered by many as a true gospel choirmaster, he has often been noted for his tremendous ability to write, arrange and produce music that is stirring and always appropriate for worship. He is best celebrated for his flamboyant, aggressive, high energy, yet technical style of choir directing and has been deemed as the "Prince of Choirs". He has served as a background vocalist and choir director for many plays, gospel artists, recordings and workshops. He currently serves under his mentor Minister Ricky Dillard as assistant director in his, Grammy nominated, Stellar Award winning choir New Generation Chorale, Chicago, Illinois.   Patrick is also the founder and conductor of his national recording choir D’vyne Worship; a 50+ voice choral aggregate which sings not only gospel and contemporary songs, but anthems as well. Under his leadership, this choir has charted on Billboard Music's Top 10 and received national recognition from the voting academy of The Stellar Awards.    He serves as the VA 2nd Jurisdiction's State Minister of Music COGIC, VA 2nd Jurisdiction's AIM Vice-Chairman, Chorum of Directors for the International Music Department COGIC, Department Cantor for the International Department of Evangelism COGIC, Music Coordinator for International Mens Department COGIC, and holds a seat on the Contemporary Adult Division Board of GMWA. Patrick frequently travels the country, as he is called upon to serve as guest conductor, vocalist, clinician, lecturer and evangelist. In 2015 Elder Riddick launched a life empowering bible study entitled "Moments of Deliverance" which is geared to equip and develop all whom desire to grow in their Christian Faith.

HOW SWEET THE SOUND - BEHIND THE MUSIC

Gospel singer and choir director Kevin Lemons has made a name for himself as musical force to be reckoned with. Considered to have one of the most dynamic choirs known as Higher Calling, Lemons brings a uniquely yet powerful sound that captures the energy, flare and spirit in song and performance. Lemons drew inspiration from other gospel performers including Milton Brunson, Thomas Whitfield, James Cleveland, Rev. James Moore and the great O'Landa Draper. Lemon's soulful and dynamic sound has been instantly recognizable in the gospel industry and is showcased here on his debut release. Biography: Kevin S. Lemons, son of the late Wilbert and Ruth Lemons, was born into a great legacy of vocalists, musicians and directors. His grandmother, Mrs. Annie Ruth Lemons, is the founder of the legendary Atlanta Masonic Choir which was organized in 1942 and still exists today. Kevin's father, Wilbert, was an accomplished director and his mother, Ruth, an accomplished lead vocalist. Needless to say, Kevin's path would undoubtedly be one filled with music. A noted director, choral and instrumental arranger, gifted vocalist and skilled musician, Kevin S. Lemons exemplifies greatness by every measure of the word. With a strong conviction for biblical principles and righteous living, Kevin's parents reared him in a God - fearing home and encouraged his involvement in church at a very young age. In church and on travels with the Atlanta Masonics young Kevin was affording the opportunity to develop himself as a musician, singer and director. Asked how much he was impacted by his introduction to gospel performances at a young age he responds 'those experiences made me who I am today. Watching my father direct and teach while witnessing my mother's vocal ability are things I cherish.' Without doubt Mr. and Mrs. Lemons were very instrumental in identifying, developing and nurturing the gifts their son possessed. With the support and blessings of his parents Kevin responded to a great call to begin his own music ministry in 1996. Gathering a few singing friends and acquaintances in a small church is where is all began. Kevin Lemons, with God's direction and purpose in his heart, organized Higher Calling. This ministry, collectively known as Kevin Lemons & Higher Calling, set out on a fast track to success by working diligently to create a sound and image unique to themselves. With Kevin's leadership, Higher Calling began traveling extensively throughout the United States sharing their message of love, unity and the importance of spiritual development...all through song. Kevin Lemons & Higher Calling released their first CD titled Destined for Greatness independently to great acclaim. The title track single 'Destined for Greatness' garnered quite a bit of radio airplay and remains a top choice on radio internet stations. The song was later recording and released in 2011 by Ricky Dillard and New Generation. Today, Higher Calling has grown into a 45 - voice, powerhouse gospel choir known for their skillful vocals, energetic performances, trendsetting style and overall excellence in ministry. Kevin Lemons & Higher Calling have shared stages with many gospel greats to include Fred Hammond, Ricky Dillard, Hezekiah Walker, the Clark Sisters, DeWayne Woods, LeAnn Faine, Donald Lawrence, the late O Landa Draper, Dorothy Norwood, Prophetess Juanita Bynum,Pastor William Murphy, Vashawn Mitchell, B. Chase Williams, and countless others. Additionally, the ministry has been nationally-televised with appearances on BET's Bobby Jones Gospel, Gospel Music Channel's The Kitchen Sink, and the Gospel Superfest. The choir has also ministered at the Dorsey Convention, GMWA, the Full Gospel Baptist Church Conference, Rhythm of Gospel Awards, COGIC Convocation to name a few.

Today, her love for Gospel Music has awarded her many opportunities to minister in song and has led Lady Voncile Belcher to pursue her fourth solo project.Voncile moved her family to Rochester, New York where she became affiliated with the City of Rochester Mass Choir, which was her first opportunity to perform on a professional singing level. In 1974, she and her family returned to Ozark, Alabama, where she was introduced to the Gospel Music Workshop of America – Alabama Chapter. This association would prove to be the catalyst to her first recording venture with the Harris Temple Church of God in Christ, under the direction of Keith Ellison, where she recorded and sang lead vocals on the song “Do You Know Who Jesus Is ” which became a blessing and inspiration to many. Later in 1985, she then relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, and transferred her GMWA membership to the Atlanta Chapter where she was welcomed with open arms. Residing in Atlanta, she took charge of her music career and began recording and while in the studio, she met a man that would change the course of her life in music. Rev. Milton Biggham, then the President of Savoy Records, who gave her a little piece of paper with three lines that said "Look Where He Brought Me From" . With those three lines, she sang lead vocals on the track that appeared on the Georgia Mass Choir’s 1985 album ‘We’ve Got the Victory’ . The song became an instant hit on The Gospel Billboard Charts and is still sung across the country in churches even today. Along with Georgia Mass Choir, Voncile also sang lead on ‘Hold To God’s Unchanging Hand’ also written by Gospel-Great James Bignon.Continuing her solo career with a leap of faith. it led her to the release her first solo album entitled ‘Be Strong’. Coming off the highs of ‘Be Strong’ she began to cultivate her gift of writing, releasing her second project ‘What a Time’ in which she did a vast array of writing, arranging, and co-producing. Once more again with success and opportunity in view, she then released her third project with Low Rush Music “Kourageous" in the Summer 2010. 2014 was an exciting year for Lady Voncile Belcher as she was awarded by the Rhythm of Gospel Awards as the "Traditional Artist of the Year" and is already nominated in 3 categories for the 2015 Awards Show. Under her own newly formed Glory Bound (GB) Records, and working with Producers Tim Fryar and Rodney Edge and New Me Productions, her single release of the song " Alright" is playing on the radio in the U.S. and International markets. The Christmas release of "A Time to Celebrate" proved as a seasonal hit with a perpetual impact. And now in 2015, the highly anticipated release of her fourth solo project entitled "Phenomenal" where you will be sure to hear a fresh, new, and innovative Lady Voncile Belcher.
