A social club, two more disappearances, and an abandoned five-year-old. Six weeks after Laureen Rahn vanished from her apartment in Manchester, on June 8th of 1980, 25-year-old Denise Daneault disappeared after spending a night out at a social club.  For years investigators didn't take her disappearance seriously.  What they didn't know was that another Denise, Denise Beaudin, also vanished from the Manchester area a little over a year after Denise Daneault.  The two women had more than just their name in common, they were both living on Hayward Street.  But unlike Denise Daneault, Denise Beaudin wasn't reported missing until thirty five years after she disappeared.  Denise Daneault vanished from Manchester, New Hampshire on June 8th, 1980. She was last seen leaving the Merrimack Club at approximately 1:30 am. At the time of her disappearance Denise was 25 years old, 5'5, approximately 135 pounds with brown hair and brownish green eyes. She was last seen wearing a brown print skirt.  Denise Beaudin vanished on November 26th, 1981 from Manchester, New Hampshire. She was last seen at her family's home in Goffstown. She was 23 years old, approximately 5'5, 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Denise has a distinct overbite.  If you have any information about the disappearances of Denise Denault or Denise Beaudin contact the Manchester Police Department at  603-668-8711. Today's episode features a staple in the Greater Manchester community.  Alyssa Van Guilder opened Apotheca Flowers in Goffstown, NH 17 years ago this year! Alyssa grew up in Alaska where her parents owned and operated a cafe. She saw their experience as entrepreneurs, and used this to shape her inspiration for Apotheca. "Apotheca" is latin for storehouse or variety, and the company's mission is to, "acknowledge, uplift, inspire, and impact." You may know Apotheca as a flower shop and cafe, but the business has expanded to include wedding flowers, wedding venues, and a design house.  Alyssa is a self-taught flower designer and artist and she approaches flowers in an art-driven way. Apotheca's design house is located in Goffstown and is used for wedding flowers and events. Alyssa and her team are excited to announce a new event space at the Factory on Willow! The Gardens at the Factory on Willow will host weddings and events designed by Apotheca Flowers. We hope you draw some inspiration from this episode, and give Apotheca a visit next time you're in Goffstown! Today's episode of Coffee at the Barre is sponsored by our friends Ethos & Able Creative!
