On today's IGN The Fix: Games, A number of Halo Infinite players have reported coming across a save-wiping glitch in the game, affecting both single-player and multiplayer gameplay. As reported by players on resetEra and Halo Waypoint (and spotted by VG247), Halo Infinite appears to contain a bug that is causing players to load into the game from a third-person perspective before breaking their save files completely. The issue itself is reportedly affecting both Xbox and PC payers and seems to be caused by a login-related bug. resetEra user 99humanity reports that after launching the game they would load into the campaign in third-person mode with Master Chief clipping through the floor. When attempting to head back to the menu and relaunch their progress, the user notes that their save file would fail to load and display as if they'd completed 0% of the campaign. Grunts get some quirky lore and personalities in Halo Infinite and we have a montage of some of our favorites. On today's IGN The Fix: Games, Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles, a video game adaptation of the popular anime series, is officially heading west. Published by Sega, Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles is an arena fighter that roughly traces events from both the series and the movie. The game stars Tanjiro, a Demon Slayer who fights to avenge his parents and save his sister, who has been turned into a demon. Halo Infinite's first multiplayer season will reportedly be themed around the "Heroes of Reach". The news was revealed in this month's Inside Infinite blog over on the Halo Waypoint website. Halo Infinite Head of Creative Joseph Staten centred the idea that as well as Master Chief, 343 wants you, the player, to feel "at the very heart of the Halo universe". Far Cry 5's level editor is pretty robust, so robust in fact that a YouTuber by the name of Krollywood straight-up remade GoldenEye in Ubisoft's first-person shooter. After a painstaking two and a half years recreating all 18 levels of GoldenEye on the PS4 version of Far Cry 5, the maps have been pulled offline after a copyright claim, seemingly stemming from Bond license owner MGM. It feels like just yesterday that the world was dissecting the Halo Infinite trailer that was on display at the XGS, I took it at face value and assumed that some of the visuals would be cleaned up before release assuming that the build on display was far from finished. The art style along with the combat looked interesting and it looked like Halo Infinite was going back to basics with this one, while adding some modern elements such as open world and traversal. Unfortunately, this week, Microsoft had a day of bittersweet messaging with a post on Halo Waypoint informing gamers of the delay of the highly anticipated return of Master Chief. It wasn’t all bad news as they also provided a post on the Xbox Wire to give gamers some sugar to help make the medicine go down easier with a tighter release window for the Xbox Series X.
