Dodgers keep it rolling with their 4th in a row and 12th W of their last 14 in Walker Buhler's return. He was rusty to sure, giving up a home run in the 1st,  but looked good and times going 4 striking out 4. Shohei Ohtani answered right back in the bottom of the first with his league leading 11th HR to tie the game. Freddie Freeman made it a back to back with his 3rd homer and James Outman secured the win with his 3rd. Teoscar Hernandez also went deep for his 9th. Ryan Yarbrough got the win throwing 3 scoreless on just 26 pitches.

Los Angeles Dodgers ace Tyler Glasnow put it all together for his best performance in an LA uniform, striking out 14 Twins in seven scoreless innings as the Dodgers beat Minnesota, 6-3. James Outman and Will Smith each hit three-run homers for LA, as Outman continues to break out of his slump and Smith continues his dominant season at (and behind) the plate. Shohei Ohtani is now the team leader and MLB leader in extra-base hits after picking up two doubles and a homer in a win over the Twins on Monday. Ohtani credited some of the success with his swing to swinging a cricket bat with a baseball bat handle in order to work on his bat path. James Outman also used it after Ohtani and had a big home run. Meanwhile, the Dodgers offense has been striking out a fair amount but it's not always entirely their fault. James Paxton went 6 getting the win for LA going 6, giving up two runs on 3 hits, 1 HR and 4 K's Shohei Ohtani's hot streak continues his 5th consecutive multi hit game with 3 hits including his 3rd Homer. Freddie Freeman, who is batting over .500 at Target Field had 2 hits and James Outman his firs home Run of the season in the 4-2 win that took 2:15 minutes. 

Bobby Miller got off to a good start striking out the side in the first but got roughed up in the 2nd giving up 5 runs on  4 hits. Shohei Ohtani homered for the 2nd game in a row to bring them within 2. Will Smith with one of his 4 hits on the day knocked in Freddie Freeman to make it a one-run game. But the Cubs got three more in the 6th to extend the lead. The Dodgers were not dead yet loading the bases in the 9th but James Outman lined out to end the rally 9-7 the final.

Dodgers again had to rally late in the game after falling behind 4-0. On a day when Mookie Betts, Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman had just one hit between them. The Dodgers scratched across 2 in the 6th on a double from Teoscar Hernandez  and a James Outman fielders choice. Then in the 8th Teoscar Hernandez did it again with his 3rd home run of the season to make it 4-3 then Max Muncy off the bench launched one to right field with a man aboard to give the Dodgers the lead. 5-4
