The guys are split on opinions around Zuffa, and we talk about roughly six months into the new boxing entities' rise in the sport. We also talk about light heavyweight Albert Ramirez's split decision over Lerrone Richards, and a bit on junior lightweight Josh Padley's win over Aqib Fiaz, which was a decent domestic match. IBF flyweight titleholder Masamichi Yabuki defeated Rene Calixto. Is Yabuki the forgotten pound-for-pound level talent? Andrew Moloney defeated Willibaldo Garcia Perez to win the IBF junior bantamweight title. Also, Michael Angeletti defeated Kenneth Llover in a bantamweight bout with title implications, and in “the bad boy bout,” John Riel Casimero stopped Luis Nery in four rounds. Then, we switch gears to history – Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez looks to further his legacy as he aims to be a three-division world champion, as he faces WBA bantamweight champion, Antonio Vargas. Rodriguez is currently No.3 on Lukie's pound-for-pound list, and even higher on others. She will face IBF mandatory challenger Flora Pili on September 5th, also for the vacant WBC title.  Also, Lindolfo Delgado (Top Rank Boxing) and Eye of the Tiger fighter Arthur Biyarslanov are negotiating the vacant IBF junior welterweight title fight that was ordered after Teofimo Lopez (moving up), Oscar Duarte (injured) and Keyshawn Davis (moving up), all ahead of Biyarslanov in the IBF rankings, turned down the fight.  Now official: Lamont Roach-William Zepeda for the vacant WBC lightweight title fight has been announced for August 1st at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. This week we had A LOT of fights.  A historic all-women's card took place with Katie Taylor defeating Amanda Serrano for a third time. We talk about the fight, the impact the trilogy had on women's boxing, as well as the undercard with notable standouts being Ellie Scotney and Shadasia Green. Then, it is off to a four-fight card in New York, where Hamzah Sheeraz stopped Edgar Berlanga in five rounds. How good is Sheeraz? Was Berlanga overhyped? We discuss. Also, Shakur Stevenson defeated William Zepeda, Subriel Matias became a champion again defeating Alberto Puello, and David Morrell barely edged a close one with Imam Khataev. Lukie was at the ProBox TV card and shared his experience, which had a good main event in which Francisco Veron defeated Vladimir Hernandez.
