The World Cup roster has dropped and Allyson and Madalyn are here for it.  And frankly, they have more World Cups under their belts than most of these call-ups.  Will our backline survive without Becky?  Does Savannah DeMelo deserve the nod?  Can Sophia Smith and an on-form Lynne Williams make up for Mal's absence?  Let us know what you think at settlethescorepodcast@gmail.com.

Did you miss us? WELL WE MISSED Y'ALL! So Courtney & André are back with an xtra lorj episode cause everything happens so much. We start off with our Sick & Shut-In list to keep players in our hearts and minds while sending ancestral healing vibes. Then we get into NWSL Free Agency! Gotham already made a move so we get Courtney's thoughts on Kelley O'Hara joining the club, and André discusses what the loss means for the Spirit. Then we both pitch free agent Debinha on coming to our respective clubs before meeting in the middle and daydreaming about her on Chelsea. After, we review the USWNT's two matches versus Germany. We discuss the loss, good and bad, including hesitancy in the final third, midfield problem, and is there really a mentality problem or does it just look different? Then we dissect the win to see what was different, what was the same, and whether injuries are the only thing holding back or if rocky results are the fault of lessons not learned. Following up on the previous post here on this website, but for Manga In Your Ears, I went to an NWSL game! Angel City FC v Chicago Red Stars. Hayley also gives us her thoughts on the new expansion teams. Plus, the two admit who the leagues best team is right now. As an avid lover of Arsenal, Hayley's teams are the topic of this week's Extra Time segment (47:23-1:10:12). The two talk about Arsenal FC (47:23-1:00:15) and Arsenal WFC (1:00:16-1:07:52). Big questions such as: what does Arsenal do to fix their team to stay competitive? How long does Arteta last at the club? Where does Viv Miedema end up or does she stay at Arsenal? Who could be the new Arsenal WFC coach? If you have comments, topics you'd like us to cover, and anything on your mind, regarding footy, please reach out to us on our socials, located below.
