New ideas on reaching climate targets as COP30 gets underway In this episode of The Sound of Economics, host Rebecca Christie sits down with Bruegel's Georg Zachmann and professor Jos Delbeke, former Director General of the European Commission's climate division, to discuss how Europe can use its ambitious climate targets to best catalyse global decarbonisation. Zachmann proposes to develop the European Emission Trading System into an anchor for mitigation activities in other sectors and countries. Delbeke acknowledges the need to enhance the ETS so that it can continue to play its important role in the efficient decarbonisation of the EU economy. But he cautions against a direct use of foreign mitigation credits in EU trading systems. Dr Majcher zaznacza, że według tej miary, najbardziej opłacalnym źródłem energii jest atom:W przypadku technologii jądrowych, wskaźnik EROI jest najwyższy. On wynosi 75. Krótko mówiąc, jeżeli wkładam jedną złotówkę, to z pracy elektrowni jądrowej dostaję 75. Jeżeli dzisiaj jesteśmy na poziomie wiatraków, które wymagają magazynowania, to wiatrak w najlepszej lokalizacji morskiej, gdzie jest tego wiatru najwięcej, mamy na poziomie 1,8 z magazynem.Ekspert ds. energetyki wskazuje, że gdy poziom opłacalności EROI jest na poziomie 7 lub wyższym, to energia się opłaca. Dzisiejszy system jest taki, że inwestorzy OZE, jak tylko wyprodukują prąd, to ty, szaraczku, masz ten prąd łapać i używać. A jak nie łapiesz, to płacz i płać. Jeżeli nie potrafisz go zużyć, to zbuduj sobie magazyn energii. Ponieś koszty. Jeżeli nie dotarło do ciebie ta energia, to zapłać za rozbudowę sieci. Krótko mówiąc, całe koszty są po stronie odbiorców.Moc bierna - cichy koszt systemuEksperci zwracają szczególną uwagę na regulację dotyczącą poboru mocy biernej, która, jak zaznaczają, jest droższa niż moc czynna. Dr Jerzy Majcher podaje przykład:Jeden z wójtów, który sobie zażyczył wielką farmę fotowoltaiczną u siebie na poziomie jednego megawata, kiedy mu przyszedł rachunek za moc bierną pojemnościową, to się okazało, że moc czynna, niewielka, którą wytworzyły źródła fotowoltaiczne, ta farma fotowoltaiczna, zarobiła mniej niż musiał zapłacić za moc bierną pojemnościową.

Swami had a number of childhood psychic premonitions, minor experience with ETs, and for 10 years dreams or visions at night portending separation from his parents. In 1972 those dreams tragically came true. This caused Swami to begin his spiritual quest in a time when no one talked about these topics. Feeling called back to USA, Swami had a vision of starting a herb company, and in 1990 Swami opened one of the first Ayurvedic wellness centers and Ayurveda certification schools in the USA. After 6 years of writing, Swamiji's first book, the Ayurveda Encyclopedia (30,000 copies in print) became a #1 best seller. He presented Ayurveda to the White House alternative medicine commission and presented to medical colleges around the world including Johns Hopkins. Over the decades, other major callings for Swami's included, being called to the amazon rainforest where he lived with village shamans who told him he was a natural born shaman and healer. Spirit also invited Swami to deepen his mediumship gifts and so he studied with top mediums at the preeminent Lilydale Assembly in NY, including Lisa Williams, Tony Stockwell, and Janet Nohavec. Along the way Swami discovered he was a pet whisperer for horses and other animals - one of the most rewarding things for him. In 2019 Swami began producing some TV shows, Talking with Our Angels, Angel Feathers, and Walking in Paradise, which aired on several TV networks including his Real Family TV network. In 2020 he produced a show how to train horses naturally, without breaking the horses, Along the American Horse Trail. Swami has also written a comedy screenplay about psychics and shamans and is starting to write a sequel. In his spare time, he is called to learn lead electric guitar to express the highest spiritual feelings that words cannot express. Dopo 24 ore di trattative, solo Slovacchia, Ungheria e Polonia si sono opposte, mentre Belgio e Bulgaria si sono astenuti. L'Italia, inizialmente contraria, ha sostenuto il compromesso finale. La proposta della Commissione europea rappresenta una tappa intermedia verso la neutralità climatica del 2050. Dorostla další generace prvovoličů, kteří si uvědomují naléhavé výzvy, které přináší devastace životního prostředí nebo prohlubující se majetkové rozdíly,“ řekla Gabriela Svárovská s tím, že zisk dvou mandátů je podle ní více, než strana čekala.Šéfka Zelených doufá, že návrat do Sněmovny po tak dlouhé pauze pro stranu bude znamenat i návrat do vysoké politiky. „Poškodila nás účast ve vládě Mirka Topolánka.
