Matt, Dawn and Mo are back to review the new shows available this week. On ITV, there's a second series of medical thriller Malpractice. It's an odd show to bring back given that it wasn't a big show or overly discussed but it would appear that ITV are hoping this will be a returning series featuring a team who are brought in to investigate medical malpractice. On Prime Video, Amy Sherman Paladino is back for ballet drama Étoile. As a big fan of the Gilmore Girls, Bunheads and The Marvellous Mrs Maisel, how to the trio feel about this new show which sees fictional dance schools in New York and Paris swap dancers. Finally, on Netflix, there's relationship drama The Four Seasons which sees three couple spend four holidays together. Spoiler, its one of the warmest and surprising shows of the year with a great cast which includes Tina Fey, Colman Domingo and Steve Carell. There's also discussion on Doctor Who, Race Across the World, Andor and Hacks.

Naga Munchetty speaks to Betty Mukherjee, who took part in the BBC's Race Across the World, about being diagnosed with MRKH at the age of 16 and her decision to talk publicly about it on the programme. MRKH, or Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome, is a rare condition that means a woman is born with ovaries but no womb. Naga is also joined by Ally Hensley, who has written a book about her experience of the condition, as well as the regular experts Dr Nighat Arif and Dr Christine Ekechi to listen to your stories and answer your questions. Send us a Text Message. There's a new buzzword in travel – “multi-generational” or multi-gen. That is at least 3 generations of the same family travelling together. Grandparents, parents and children choosing to holiday together despite each having their own specific wants and needs. SOUNDS TERRIFYING! Yet it is reportedly a growing trend. Keen to go behind the headlines as ever, Phoebe takes her whole tribe - 75-year-old dad, 3-year-old son, and partner to SE Asia, to travel 1,200 miles from Singapore to Thailand, by train. How will it go? Will they still be talking at the end? And who will be the first to ask the dreaded question - "Are we nearly there yet?"Also coming up:How to survive a night on a sleeper train in South East Asia; discover how to travel as friends and still be talking at the end of the trip with Race Across the World winners Tricia Sail and Cathie Rowe; learn how to dress to survive hot and humid conditions; meet the man who was key to bringing bison back to Saskatchewan's prairies in Canada; Wander Woman of the Month – Florence Baker. www.Phoebe-Smith.com; @PhoebeRSmith
In this final episode of my 8th season of Teenage Kicks, we hear from Betty and James Mukherjee, of Race Across The World fame. Watching the show we saw the brother and sister relationship develop as they completed challenges together, but they say it wasn't always like this - they fell out like typical siblings when they were growing up. They talk about how they handled their feelings during the harder times on the trip around Southeast Asia (remember when they lost their passports?) and the moment when Betty opened up to James about her diagnosis of MRKH, a medical condition which means she doesn't have a uterus. I ask Betty what it was like to be diagnosed at the age of 16 with something that changed her perception of her life, and I ask James how it felt to know at a young age that his sister's life had changed. They both talk about the need to allow feelings, their own and each other's, and - importantly - to open up about those feelings rather than keeping them locked in. She describes herself as a 'glass half empty' kind of girl, and how important it is to notice when she starts to catastrophise and take steps to change her previous patterns. Betty now shares the reality of her daily life on Instagram and in her women's wellbeing community It's a Balance Thing. She says it's important for her to talk to her friends (even though they couldn't understand) and to share with others going through the same. She recommends MRKH Connect for other people living with MRKH. James tells me about the moment on the show where he gets a hug from a cameraman after feeling emotional during that conversation, and how important it feels now to help men understand that allowing emotions is also important for them. He recommends Andy's Man Club as a good place to start if you're struggling to open up about mental health. You can also message James on Instagram. Matt and Dawn are joined by regular guest and token American Mo Walker to review 4 new shows debuting this week. Martin Freeman returns in the brilliantly tense crime drama The Responder. Steve Pemberton & Reece Shearsmith prepare to say goodbye to Inside No.9 as the ninth and final series begins on BBC Two. Over on Netflix the trio review two very different dramas in David E Kelley's adaptation of Tom Wolfe's A Man in Full and a take on Neil Gaiman's Dead Boy Detectives. There's also discussion on Mo's recent trip to the UK, the good and bad surrounding the huge conversation around Baby Reindeer as Race Across the World.
Say your (potential) goodbyes, as we are back for Hunted UK's lucky seventh series! Over these six weeks (regardless of Channel 4's broadcast schedule), three people who are all running off in different directions after this episode, in the hope that none of them get caught - Michael, Anthony & Michelle - returned to recap the hunt for twelve new fugitives who are spread out all over the UK in a quest to escape capture and win a share of £100,000 - concluding with the final episode, capture of Cameron and escape of Jaxon, Nicola & Sade. In this episode - Michael breaks a promise and ties up a loose end, we discuss Race Across the World, there's another message from Alex Ayling, Doug gets one final undermining, Ray runs out of cliches, we wonder why Kirsty couldn't just catch some fugitives herself, some local knowledge refutes what the Hunters claimed, two of us issue an apology, we wonder where the crying scene was, Michelle googles "Stipples Town", Production have some contingency plans, we go back to the final ascent, there was a major clue that it wasn't a Clean Sweep, Mothers' Week begins, we say our (potential) goodbyes, the podcasts' impact is explained and we worry about some backlash for the banner. Thank you for listening to this episode - Michael, Logan & Bindles are continuing covering De Mol België every Thursday before we'll be back for more Historians later in the year! Additional note: Obviously, if this is the end of Civilian Hunted we'll be disappointed, but thank you to everyone who's listened to our Hunted podcasts over the last eight(!) years. Thanks to everyone who's been involved in the show - whether Hunter, Fugitive or Gold Command (love you Kevin!) - and anyone who's interacted with us, whether for one episode or forty-six - we hope this won't be the end! My thoughts for today are around the idea that we should never take our good health for granted and I'll tell you why. I recently had an accident that took me out of running or any sport for that matter for about a week and a half. It happened right outside my house on my bike going super slow, barely pedaling. There was a curb that my front tire cleared but my back tire did not and next thing I knew I was laying head first on the ground with blood dripping from my forehead. Stitches were required and I somehow had major bruising in my lower abdominal. It wasn't fun and I couldn't run. I was mad at myself for letting it happen, for not being more careful but of course it could always be much worse. I've slowly come back to running and so grateful to feel good doing it again. So be safe out there and cherish whatever form of movement you're able to do today, wherever you're at in the process. On today's episode of Just In Stride I sat down with Ultrarunner and adventurer, Faye Alice.Faye grew up being active and ran for her school. Dance however was what she wanted to pursue as a career until she realized she may have reached her potential and decided to move on.Where dancing stopped, her running continued, finding joy on the roads and later on the trails. Over the years her passion has grown but also the distances as she takes on multi day races of 200 miles and beyond. Of course, with the Canadian Rockies as her training ground there's endless opportunities to explore for hours on her own two feet.-------Offer from Xact Nutrition: This episode is presented by our friends at Xact Nutrition and they are offering you 15% OFF your order when you use the code JUSTINSTRIDE. Worauf sollte man keinesfalls verzichten? “In some circles, the Mint 400 is a far, far better thing than the Super Bowl, the Kentucky Derby and the Lower Oakland Roller Derby Finals all rolled into one. This race attracts a special breed,” wrote Hunter S. Thompson in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. But how did a bunch of hospitality industry employees with little-to-no knowledge of motorsports turn a publicity stunt into The Great American Off-Road Race? Why did the Mint 400 go dark after twenty successful years? And what about this uniquely Vegas race ensured its eventual comeback? Buy the ticket, take the ride. Leadville: The 100 Mile Mountain Bike Race Podcast, p/b Floyd's of Leadville
There was a time when the choice between hardtail and full-suspension bikes at the Leadville 100 was obvious: hardtail if you wanted to be fast and efficient, full-suspension if you wanted to be slow and comfortable. Times have changed, and full-suspension bikes can now be a no-compromise solution for the Race Across the Sky. In today's episode, we get expert advice on setting up your suspension for the Leadville 100, and take a first look at the new Specialized Epic World Cup, arguably a strong contender in the "perfect LT100 machine" contest.
