Jack and Steven are back to end off 2023 with a bang, talking about this year's evolution of Unfunny Buffoonery (or lack thereof), Jack's recent "Christmas in NYC" video and the process of making it, and the difference between bar soap and liquid soap. Liquid soap is just better, I was told to say "because there's nothing to drop." Not sure what that means but... Happy New Year!

In this year's SBM Holiday Special, I go over my Top 5 favorite Black Christmas Movies. This list, I feel like, is a list that most of the African-American community can agree on as well as some of those in the Caucasian community as well. Some movies were left off, (not intentionally of course), 2 were honorable mentions and 1 got dragged through the mud because of how not funny it is (you know what movie you are). So enjoy this list, my lovely voice (and 2 not yet sponsored ad reads) as my gifts to you. Happy Christmas and Merry Holidays to one and all! We are starting a new tradition here at the Fear of God this week by taking a look -- hopefully each new year to come -- at one of the many adaptations of Charles Dickens' beloved classic, A Christmas Carol. This week, we tackle the 1988 rendition directed by Richard Donner, scored by Danny Elfman, and starring Bill Murray: SCROOGED.Scrooged gets quite a few bonus points for being different and has several notable production elements, but some head-scratching sensibilities and an unfortunate approach by Bill Murray to the Scrooge character make for some uneven returns. Nonetheless, the film still bears some potent reminders about how we can better approach who we wish we could be.Also featuring a Patron-Only segment where Nathan and Reed discuss recent awards contenders, we hope you enjoy this week's episode!8:23 - Business TimePatron Only Segment: Whatcha Watchin' -- Awards Season!9:53 - SCROOGEDSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

The Holidays and Autism: Holding Fast and Letting Go Planning a Merry Holiday on the Autism Spectrum
The holidays are here, no matter what your faith tradition or country, there's a holiday in here for everyone. For some the holidays are a joyful time where they look forward to seeing family and friends. For others, the holidays can be a difficult time. For people who struggle with substances, it tends to be a difficult time to navigate. There's an expectation that we will "indulge" ourselves with food and alcohol. If someone chooses NOT to drink, they would get questioned on a normal day. During a holiday though, it feels almost anti-holiday to not partake. Today we're talking about managing the holidays without using substances. Our clients have all sorts of opinions about the holidays, family and the expectation of spending money. They often talk with us about these challenges. It's a great time to review skills that they can use to manage stress. Your client won't think its odd if you bring up stress, drinking and skills. So, listen in on the discussion today about using skills over the holidays.
We watch "The Timeless Children" (Series 12, Episode 10) where the Doctor is the latest guest on "This Is Your Lives". Whoa! Whilst the Master traps the Doctor in the Time Lord Matrix (but not THAT Matrix™), the Fam+ (not to be confused with Disney+... the Doctor's future overlord) take the red pill (staying in the real world... not to be confused with our current AI overlords) to battle the Cybermen (our actual robot overlords... all hail to Cybertron! Wait... what?) And then the Doctor gets taken to the Judoon Prizoon in a small moon. See you in the Merry Holidays!

Kim D. is here to spread the holiday cheer. She starts with a recap of a recent party we both attended in Franklin Lakes, NJ hosted by the one, the only RHONJ's Doctor David (and our good friend past BTVR Podcast guest, Joey Santos). Kim and I reminisce about this holiday shin dig and all its RHONJ attendants - Frank Catania, Frankie Jr., Gabby Catania, Marge Sr. and Frank's girlfriend Brittany who will be introduced to audiences this winter when RHONJ returns in February. In other news, Kim shares some life advice for our friend Jackie Goldschneider, talks about the upcoming season of RHONJ and when we can expect to hear about RHOBH casting. Finally, we break down the recent raid of Jen Shah and all her fake bags, why Fake Louis Vuitton is sacrilege to David, Jen's request for a max of three years behind bars and last, but certainly not least, Jen's confusing at best statement and the real reason she was not at the RHOSLC reunion.
