Jakab Zoltán a kilencvenes évek óta meghatározó alakja a hazai hardcore-punk, illetve a metal szcénának, aki ha épp nem énekesként vesz részt olyan zenekarokban, mint a Newborn, a Bridge to Solace, vagy a Ghostchant, akkor koncertszervezőként tevékenykedik. Azaz csak tevékenykedett, hiszen felhagyott az itthoni koncertek szervezésével, aminek elmondása szerint több oka is volt. Ezek egyike miatt hagyta ott a Phoenix Music nevű szervezőcéget és fordult a külföldi munkák felé. Az elmúlt egy év, mint minden szervezőt, őt is komolyan érintette, azonban szerinte mélyebben húzódó gondok is vannak a hazai koncertiparban, mint a koronavírus okozta válság. A rendezvények, illetve a zenekarok, valamint a szervezők aktuális helyzete kapcsán viszont azt mondja: mindenki próbálja menteni a menthetőt, hiszen nem tudni, hogy tényleg lesznek-e újabb korlátozások a koncertekre, ami óriási bizonytalanságot tart fenn továbbra is az ágazat dolgozói számára: „Most mindenki koncertekre jár, mivel nem tudni, hogy holnap mikor jelentik be az újabb világvégét, az emberek meg úgy vannak vele, hogy addig buliznak, amíg lehet.” Szerinte ez a helyzet azonban nem lesz sokáig fenntartható, mivel a válság múltával csökkenni fog a vendégek száma is. Mindemellett úgy véli, hogy jelentősen el lett véve a jegyvásárlói kedv azzal, hogy görgetni lehet a jegyeket, és nagyon sok szervező nem ajánlja fel a visszaváltási lehetőséget. A dolgot pedig nem segítik szerinte a jelenlegi járványkezelési módszerek sem: „Nyilván nem vagyok virológus, laikusként is látható, hogy nagyon sok járványkezelési modul megkérdőjelezhető.” Hozzáteszi azonban, hogy ő maga be van oltva, mivel úgy gondolja, ezzel tudott tenni a társadalmi szolidaritásért, ám a járványkezelési módszerekkel, valamint a média felelősségével kapcsolatban kétségei vannak. „Az elején, mikor nem tudtuk, hogy mi ez a vírus, abszolút lezáráspárti voltam, de ahogy haladtak a kutatások, látjuk, hogy ezt most már el lehet engedni.” Hogy milyen okok miatt hagyta ott a magyarországi koncertszervezést, milyen problémák vannak a piacon, illetve meddig húzható el a járványkezelés miatt szinte folyamatosan lebegtetett lezárások veszélye, kiderül a Helyzet legújabb etapjából.
