Tracklist on https://slothboogie.com/ Bristol-based producer Sean McCabe has amassed an impressive discography, delivering inspired releases and reworks for the likes of Local Talk, Z Records, Strictly Rhythm, Room Control, Tribe, Quantize and his own label Good Vibrations Music. Releasing his first tracks in 2003, he has fine-tuned a trademark sound that is effortlessly soulful and definitely house. A quick listen to any of his productions or DJ sets will confirm this emotion-rich aesthetic. Constantly learning and evolving, taking his sound in different directions, McCabe admits to a love of vintage synthesizers – picked up from listening to classic New York boogie and ‘80s soul. "I always like to play a mix of styles in a set to keep it interesting and represent the different styles that I like. I selected about 50 tracks that I felt like playing, to give me options, some recently released and some forthcoming. I made up the structure as I went along based on how I felt in the moment. It starts with a blend of soulful songs and funky/jazzy grooves, then delves into deeper driving tracks to build some anticipation, like a crescendo of some sort, then relieve the tension with music that has a resolving feel to it and end with some broken beat and jazzy ear candy. I think this is typical of how I try to programme my mixes. Like a very long chord progression or song structure; set mood, build tension, resolve, home, then repeat. After working at Rough Trade, he founded Republic Records, releasing music under various aliases. In 1990, Joey Negro was born with his first solo release on Nu Groove. This gave Lee the freedom to explore his musical direction, leading to the creation of his label, Z Records.In the 90s, Lee's career skyrocketed with hits like 'Relight My Fire' for Take That and his solo album Universe of Love. He also formed The Sunburst Band, blending live instruments with house music. Throughout his career, Lee became a renowned remixer, working with artists like Diana Ross and Pet Shop Boys, and continued to innovate with projects like Jakatta, achieving top chart positions.In 2020, in response to the Black Lives Matter movement, Lee dropped the Joey Negro name, continuing his journey under his real name. TRUE HOUSE STORIES W/ DR PACKER # 087 - PART 2 By The year 2013 Dr Packer began mixing entire sets from CD therefore searching for music online , he started picking up re-edits, a certain artist stood out to him known as the 'Late Nite Tuff Guy' he loved the way the original songs were beefed up and sounded fat on a club system but the original vibe was still there , also these edits were quantized perfectly meaning you were able to beat mix them flawlessly unlike playing the original vinyl... In August 2013 Greg Produced his first two edits under the name 'Dr Packer' which was 'Keni Burke - Rising To The Top' and 'Hall & Oates - I Can't Go For That' unsure of what to do with them he sent them to 'Fingerman' he instantly played both of them on his show and suggested to send more his way , this was the push he needed to continue what was initially a bit of a fun experiment... Labels Such as 'Defected , Glitterbox , Z Records , Masterworks , Disco Dat , Hot Digits & Midnight Riot' have all shown plenty of love for the doctor and most recently 'Salsoul' records have requested 2 EP's to be be released officially so things won't be slowing down anytime soon... Most releases so far have reached the number one position in the sales charts on most of the online stores and received support from DJs such as 'Dimitri From Paris, Joey Negro , John Morales , Greg Wilson , Late Night Tuff Guy , Simon Dunmore to name a few.

The band consists of members: Joey Greco - Drums, Vocals Adam Troy - vocals Lawrence Falcomer - Guitar Joseph Cumbo - Bass Members of our extended family include: Joe Marquez - Drums Sil Simone - guitars Sonic X music consists of guitar driven riffs with an edge but also include memorable, melodic passages that take you to unexpected places. The writing and musicianship in Sonic X are flawless and the production is world class. Sonic X write songs that come from deep within their soul and are personal. This combination has allowed Sonic X to craft a unique sound that's become their signature. Sonic X formed in 2004 when they released their self-titled debut CD on Z Records. The CD featured the popular song “News for You” which to this day remains one of Sonic X's most downloaded and streamed songs. In 2007 Sonic X released their follow up CD titled “THIRTEEN” on Chavis Records. THIRTEEN featured the single “Seeds of Thunder” which received airplay on Sirius XM's Breaking Bone program. THIRTEEN also included 4 bonus tracks from the Debut CD. In 2015 Sonic X released their most popular effort, the 4 song EP titled “Fall from Grace”. The EP featured the singles “Save Yourself” and “PRAY” which received significant airplay on radio, especially on Sirius XM's Octane station...the premier radio station for emerging Hard Rock music. In 2019 The band had a change of direction with Joey Greco taking over lead vocals from original vocalist Adam Troy who took a break for personal reasons. In August 2019, Sonic X released “Leave Me Alone” their 1st single since 2015 to positive reviews. Sonic X then released a new 5 song EP titled “Fly Around the World” on November 8th 2019, which also featured the follow up single aptly titled “Fly Around the World” a radio friendly song with a haunting catchy chorus that will stay with you long after listening. On April 24th 2020 Sonic X released “My Wonderful Life” which is the 3rd single from the “Fly Around The World “ EP. A timely song about reflecting on your life. Adam Troy rejoined the band in 2021 and will be splitting the vocal duties with Joey Greco. In January 2022 Sonic X released their 3rd full album titled "All Been Said and Done" featuring their first single "All Been Said and Done", a modern hard rock song with a memorable chorus. Adam returns to sing on 2 tracks on the new album, “So Alone” and the haunting “Spaces”. Joining Sonic X on the new album is experienced and extremely talented guitarist Sil Simon. Sil has toured with the likes of Tom Cochrane, Rik Emmett, Triumph, Lee Aaron etc. Sil has also worked on the theatre productions of Rock of Ages, We Will Rock you and Bat out of Hell. Sil will be playing a more prominent role in Sonic X on subsequent releases. Glasgow-based @miltonjackson (real name Barry Christie) released his first EP aged 18 on @tronicsole way back in 2001. An album for @glasgowunderground entitled "The Bionic Boy" was released in 2001. Romanthony was such a big fan of the 3rd single ‘Dimensional’ that he asked to remix it, a huge honour for Milton. After the success of "Bionic Boy" and the accompanying live tour (taking in venues like @rexclub in Paris), EPs were completed for the likes of Black Vinyl, Bear Trax (Milton’s own label) and Omid 16B’s Alola (@sexonwax). Milton even worked with a young Mylo on their ‘Pretty Boys’ project. In 2006 a new relationship was formed with @jimpster’s @freerangerecords and saw collaborations with fellow deep house don @shurikan. 2009 was topped off with a win in the DJ Awards in the Deep House category. Milton picked up his award at Pacha in Ibiza alongside the likes of @petetong, @lucianocadenza and Sven Vath. Moving into the 2010s Milton remixed Recloose for Carl Craig’s (@planetedetroit) Planet E and turned in big remixes for Joey Negro’s (@daveleezr) Z Records, 8 Bit and Jef K’s hit “In My System” on Silver Network. He also released "Breathe" on Neurotraxx records. A new collaboration with Munich’s SHOW-B called “Pattern Select” saw the pair release a critically acclaimed EP on @delusionsofgrandeur and a remix for @huxley_uk imprint @saints-n-sonnets. 2012 saw no let up for Milton as he continued to DJ worldwide and release for Freerange (new track DSI), @tsuba vinyl imprint and Black Key Records. 2013 saw Milton take a break from house music after the birth of his children and after an 18 month layoff he returned to Kevin Griffiths’ Tsuba label with his ‘Your Love’ EP. Your love received many plaudits with @traxsource claiming: "Milton Jackson returns and it’s worth the wait!" Milton also recorded a special track for Freerange’s 20th anniversary boxset release called "Songs Without Words". In 2020, 20 years after his first release Milton is still releasing quality EPs - a new 4 tracker for @rawax-chiwax-housewax imprint Housewax was released, plus he has been recording further material with his old partner in music, Shur-i-kan and @matt-masters plus a new solo EP for Freerange. Overall throughout his career Milton has around 60 releases to his name, 2 albums and notched up over 100 remixes, not to mention appearing on hundreds of compilations around the world.
