John is joined by MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace for an Election Day special episode on the final hours of the presidential race. The two close friends examine Kamala Harris's decision to close out her campaign by dropping all references to Donald Trump and returning to the themes of unity, change, and joy that animated her early days as the Democratic nominee; the contrast presented by Trump's off-message, off-kilter, at times off-color turns on the stump, as he toggled between anger and exhaustion before dwindling crowds; the bolt-from-the-blue Iowa poll that stunned the political world by showing Harris with a 3-point lead in a state that Trump won easily in 2016 and 2020; whether the combination of Dobbs, Liz Cheney, John Kelly, and Trump's Madison Square fiasco would put Harris over the top; and, if not, what Trump's reelection will say about America. Musical Lyrics are like Poetry and have the power to change our lives. This week I use Jelly Roll's song "I'm Not OK" to discuss. Number One "I love it" and number two, it is a great song to use to show you the power of lyrics. Singer/Songwriters have a responsibility to their audience when performing. The music they present can hit you at the depths of your soul and their must be a story to tell. I will give you a great perspective on how you can use song lyrics to aid in your Mental Health. When we know that love, when we live that love, then our worries can cease because we will know with every atom of our beingness that “every little thing's gonna be alright.”
Dr. Paul Gibson | Revelation 4:1-11The Roman authorities persecuted the early church due to their countercultural faith in Christ. And, the visions given to John for the church were about to increase in intensity. What does God show John to communicate to His people? A heavenly throne room with God on the throne. How are the early church and the church today supposed to respond to opposition and the intensity of evil? Seeing that God is on the throne and worshipping Him. If we keep our eyes on the throne through worship, we know that every little thing gonna be alright.
Hour 1 - The locals showed up today continuing to keep their seasons moving in the right direction even though the reactions for both teams have been negative at times to start the season. Plus more!
•David Whitfield began his musical interest with pots and pans as a drum set in the middle of the kitchen floor. Despite his uncle the late Thomas “The Maestro” Whitefield wishes to be a protégé and learn to play the organ, he continued playing drums and then at age 7 he directed the Voices of Tabernacle under the late Pastor D.K. Craig. David continued playing the drums in local churches and assemblies as well as Southeastern and King High schools. Advancing from the percussion section David began assistant directing for the Wings of Love Youth Chorale & Gospel Chorus. •During the drug epidemic of the 1990's he was given a vision to bring awareness and encouragement to the youth that were being affected. He called upon family, friends, classmates and formed a God's Power over Drugs Rally, this was a huge event where he was presented accolades from the City of Detroit Common Council. This dedication to ministry and the likeness of others afforded him many opportunities, he shared the stage with the community choir welcoming Nelson Mandela to the Motor City, as well as, he being the Assistant Director for Chris Jones & Word of Praise, until the Lord blessed him with the vision to begin his own. •In January 2000, David birthed, Whitfield Productions “The Next Generation” which comprised of a group of young adults ageing 8 years to 30, they began traveling and uplifting the name of the Lord throughout the country. •Min. [originally published on Patreon Dec 7, 2021] Today's episode is nuts. I don't hear anyone referring to Salinger as a spy, and yet he was very much a spy. He served in the army's counterintelligence corps where, as it turns out, he saw some remarkable and horrific things. Then possibly got brainwashed by Nazis? I'm legitimately not joking; he was at least in the position to be brainwashed. After that, he married a Nazi spy and brought her to the US. I discuss his spiritual dilettantism, and then I go over the Joyce Maynard affair, pulling out a few very curious details that rarely get addressed. Then of course I talk about the curious role the Catcher in the Rye has played in various assassinations, and what might be in the novel that would catch the eye of an assassin. To wrap it up, I discuss the possibility that the novel contains Freemasonic themes and messages. Songs: "Catcher in the Rye" - Dandy Warhols "fais moi mal Johnny" - Boris Vian "Catcher in the Rye" - GRANT "Everything is Gonna Be Alright" - John Hinckley Jr.

The FC crew react to Chelsea's 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace and question how the Blues were so poor in the first half especially after coming off one of their best performances of the season. Mario Melchiot and Frank Leboeuf also join the show to break down Arsenal's dominant win over West Ham and argue if they think the Gunners are showing the best form of the title challengers. Griff and AB are back for Session 21 to try to make sense of the past week where the team went 2-0-2, earning points in 4 straight games. They also discuss what they think the team's strategy is with goaltending now that Antti Raanta is in Chicago with the Wolves, Yaniv Perets is up with the big club, Aaron Dell is on a PTO, and after receiving good news about Freddie Andersen. Griff also attempts to make sense of the state of the team and calm the nerves of the fanbase (but not AB who disagrees).
