Beh Narda, simpatico diminutivo di Leonarda, questo significa che non conosci il famoso e omonimo film del '59 di Alain Resnais che ti invitiamo a recuperare, lo puoi trovare in tutti i siti di streaming dove una volta l'anno ti rivedi The Vampire Diaries per sentirti metaforicamente più vicina a Ian Somerhalder, sperando che il tuo sistema simpatico te lo proietti simpaticamente nei sogni di quella notte. Un film che parla di amori presenti, spettri del passato, di amari ricordi che capita di dover affrontare per ritrovare la pace in noi stessi e di come l'amore possa nascondere delle reazioni nucleari alle quali talvolta non può esserci riparo. Che tutto ciò sia attinente con la puntata di oggi? Comunque sia hai appena imparato il nome di un film degli anni '50 che potrai consigliare, anche se non l'hai mai visto, durante una serata ai tuoi amici spacciandoti per la cinefila un po' quirky che una volta hai sentito scoreggiare e incolpare un altro membro del gruppo perché "una che guarda Kubrick non farebbe mai una cosa del genere". This is Part 2 of our discussion of cannabis and CBD for dogs with Dr. Narda Robinson. In this episode Dr. Narda discusses how CBD can fit into a cancer treatment plan, the legal complications of cannabis in veterinary medicine, and some tips for choosing a product. Some things to look for when researching products are a Certificate of Analysis, how the product is processed, sustainability and environmental impact of the growing operation, and what your pet's specific needs are. In her experience oils are the most reliable and have been studied the most, though many dogs love their CBD chews! Salves are an emerging option that Dr. Narda likes because they can be used to target specific painful areas. However, there are not any products available right now. If considering a human CBD salve for your dog, review the ingredients carefully with a holistic or integrative vet. Many of the essential oils that we love for ourselves can be dangerous for our pets if they are licked or absorbed into the skin. Dr. Narda Robinson has been involved with cannabis and CBD in dogs since Colorado State University first started looking into it. Narda van ‘t Veer, gallerist, photography collector and agent. In 1977 Narda van 't Veer stumbled upon the work of Guy Bourdin. Her love for photography was born and a few years later she graduated from her studies in marketing & economics at HTS, after which she founded an advertising agency specialised in fashion campaigns. Through her work as an art director she meets a variety of photographers and in 1988 she decides to start her own agency, Unit C.M.A. Today she represents national and international creatives working in the field of photography, illustration and film. In her thirty years as an agent van 't Veer also comes across a lot of art photography and many photobooks. This sparks the start of her own collection which features work by Helmut Newton and Collier Schorr among others. Next to that her extensive knowledge of and many connections in the field of photography lead to various projects like realising various photobooks. In 2012 van 't Veer starts her own gallery in collaboration with Jasper Bode. Via The Ravestijn Gallery she represents photographers like Inez & Vinoodh, Patrick Waterhouse and Michael Bailey-Gate Interview with Narda van ‘t Veer recorded by Michael Dooney on 6. Although there are many romantic ideas about where acupuncture comes from and how it works, the truth is rooted in science and anatomy. Acupuncture is the practice of applying tiny needles or pressure to specific areas to stimulate nerves and tissue to get a desired effect. Havacılığın geleceğini balonların değil, havadan ağır uçan makinelerin şekillendireceğine yönelik fikirleri gibi, “uçak”ların medikal kurtarma görevlerinde paha biçilmez yararlar sağlayacağı fikri de isabetlidir. Elbette bu fikir öylece Jules Verne'in “içine doğmaz”. İngiliz mühendis George Cayley, 1799'dan itibaren modern uçaklara benzer tasarımlar üzerine fazlasıyla kafa yormuştur. Hatta başarıyla planörler yapar ve uçurur. Onu birçok bilim insanı izler. “Uçan Adam” lakaplı Otto Lilienthal; 1867'den başlayarak, havadan ağır cisimlerle uçma üzerine ciddi kafa yorar. 1891'de yaptığı uçuş denemeleri ile yeni bir çağın kapısını aralar. Hasılı 1903'te Wright kardeşler ilk uçağı uçurmayı başarana kadar, adım adım ilerleyen bir süreç vardır. Elbette Jules Verne gibi bilimle çok haşır neşir olan bir yazar, bu projeksiyona da kuş uçuşu bakar. İngilizce'de buna “Educated Guess” (bilgiye dayalı tahmin) diyorlar. Hava Tıbbi Hizmetleri Yaralı veya hastalara tıbbi bakımın hızla ulaştırılabilmesi, uygun şekilde ve hızlıca hasta naklinin gerçekleştirilebilmesi için uçak veya helikopterlerden yararlanan sisteme; Hava Tıbbi Hizmetleri deniliyor. İlk olarak Birinci Dünya Savaşı'nda, savaş alanından yaralıların taşınması için uçaklardan yararlanılarak, bir anlamda Hava Tıbbi Hizmetleri de kullanıma alınmış olur. Kore Savaşı ve Vietnam Savaşı'nda ise “hava ambulanslarının” etkinliği genel kabul görür. Bu yazımızda, Doktor Besim Ömer'in 1925 yılında kaleme aldığı “Sıhhiye-i Askeriye ve Umûmiyede Tayyârelerden Edilecek İstifade” kitabını kaynak alarak, ülkemizde bu konuda yapılmış ilk çalışmadan biraz bahsetmek istiyoruz. Besim Ömer Besim Ömer "Titanik'ten kurtulan Türk" diye bir yerlerde mutlaka kulağınıza çalınmıştır. İşte o kişi Dr. Besim Ömer'dir. Titanik hikayesi bile başlı başına enteresan olsa da, Besim Ömer'in bütün hayat hikayesine bakıldığında bunun çok küçük bir yer tutabileceğini söyleyebiliriz. 1 Temmuz 1862'de Narda'da dünyaya gelen Besim Ömer, yüksek öğrenimini Mekteb-i Tıbbiye-i Şahane'de 1885'te birincilikle bitirir. Kadın Doğum alanındaki uzmanlık eğitimini Paris'te tamamlar. Dönüşünden sonra yaptığı çalışmalarla; çok sayıda hekim, hemşire, ebe, hasta bakıcı yetiştirir ve çeşitli mesleki kitaplar yazar. Bir yandan eğiticilik görevini yürütürken; bir yandan da Kızılay, Verem Savaş Derneği gibi çok sayıda kuruluşta aktif görev alır. Görevi gereği çok defa yurt dışına çıkar ve mesleki deneyimleri yanında, bu tecrübelerini de ülkesine aktarmak için çabalar. Ufuk Açan Yolculuk Besim Ömer, kaplıca tedavisi için 1924'te tekrar Fransa'ya gitmeye karar verir. Yolu üzerindeki Cenevre'de bir hafta geçirir ve burada 1907'de delege olarak katıldığı konferanstan beri tanıştığı önemli isimleri görmek için Uluslararası Kızılhaç Komitesi'ne de uğrar. Hasta ve yaralı nakli o dönemde Kızılay ve Kızılhaç'ın temel görevlerinden biri olarak kabul edildiğinden, konu Birinci Dünya Savaşı sırasında hasta nakil hizmetlerinde yaşanan zorluklara gelir. Komitenin ileri gelenlerinden Raymond Schlemmer, “Biz Fransa'da uzun zamandan beri hasta nakli için uçaklardan yararlanıyoruz. İsterseniz tedavi dönüşü Paris'te görebilirsiniz” der. Burada bir parantez açmakta yarar var. Gerçekten de Fransızlar askeri tıbbi havacılık konusunda öncü ülke olmayı başarmışlardır.
