Momentum Recharge Changes the Game for MSPs and VARs, Podcast, CCA Member company strives to shake up market “I think the MSPs have always struggled with, a lot of have struggled with, going into the telecom business or not going into the telecom business, Rick Garcia, EVP of Modern Work and Marketing at Momentum. “And when they want to dip their toe in, they quickly realize that it becomes very expensive to keep up from a regulatory perspective, to be able to include telco billing in their portfolio of services to deliver that one bill to the customer.” In June, Momentum announced the launch of Momentum ReCharge. The innovative program enables Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) to seamlessly add Teams Phone, Operator Connect, and Global Internet Connectivity to their portfolios. “It's going to be a game changer for those MSPs. They will include telco services, predominantly Microsoft Teams Operator Connect, and broadband services from Momentum.” The program allows the MSPs to jump into the market, and resell the most popular services without having to climb billing, tax and regulatory hurdles. “It's going to be a game changer for those MSPs. They will include telco services, predominantly Microsoft Teams Operator Connect, and broadband services from Momentum.” Momentum Recharge Changes the Game for MSPs and VARs It gives them this door, this avenue to bring a new service and a new solution to their customers without a ton of heavy lifting, says Brandon Bradley VP of Modern Work & UC Innovation of Momentum. We learn that the program effectively hands an MSP an almost ready-made telecom practice. In this podcast, we watch an illustrated presentation on the program. We learn how Momentum takes on the “heavy lift” of offering telecom. We also learn about Momentum's extensive wholesale and retail businesses. Save money. Make money. Save time. These are the three big reasons most businesses buy a product, a service or even hire a person. Sometimes hidden behind those big three is productivity. Teams is being adopted by organizations, and Momentum not only wanted to help their clients do Teams, but to do Teams better. Too realize productivity. In this podcast Rick Garcia of Momentum shares with us his journey, as a founder of G12, and now, through Momentum's acquisition of G12, a part of Momentum's quest to help companies get the most from Teams. “Our job really is to communicate with the enterprises, to communicate with businesses, share with them what Microsoft Teams is capable of. We've got a plethora of UC platforms as well, but Microsoft Teams right now, if you look at it from a productivity perspective, cost perspective, and just feature tool set, this is quite impressive.” Visit https://gomomentum.com/
In this weeks episode, Patrick and Rick Garcia from G12 Communications discuss the range of services that can be enabled in Microsoft Teams beyond just telephony. They explore messaging, customer experience provision, and legacy system integration all of which are critical to enabling effective collaboration.

Prepare to work hard and give it the runway that it deserves. What I mean by runway is it's going to take longer than what you think to be successful. I think people are looking for short-term wins, get rich quick, whatever it is. If you think in terms of decades instead of in the next two years I am going to make this much money. Put some longevity behind your plan and then go execute your plan. The correct expectations will be set and you will build a solid foundation. You will learn a ton along the way and have a lot of fun. Think a little longer terms than short term. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/the-inventive-journey/message

This episode I'm joined by fellow veteran and my friend, Rick Garcia. His time spent in Vietnam urged him to write his own book about his experience titled, "Pop smoke birds inbound, the forgotten soldier". This autobiography begins with Rick's time prior to being drafted, combat deployment, engagements with the enemy, R&R passes, and the rampant drug use in Vietnam. The most controversial war told by a soldier who lived it and survived, and his story is amazing!
I thoroughly enjoyed going to see Rick Garcia's abode in San Marcos. I look forward to potentially attending a Maestro camp at some point over the next few years. Some of the lessons that directors are receiving are invaluable! Enjoy the chat. @mrblakeminor on Twitter, CashApp, and Venmo Friend me on Facebook. Leave a good review, if you so choose.

THE VELVET TEAPARTY is a Los Angeles, California based rock band. Formed in 2011, the four individual members met up while attending LACM, Los Angeles College of Music located in the heart of Pasadena, California. All four members of the band hail from different regions of the world (US, Brazil, Germany and Ecuador) which has contributed to the band's overall sound and style. Shortly after meeting, they discovered that they shared many similar musical influences and goals alike. Within a few weeks they began writing songs and soon after, booking shows all over. They have since garnered a sizable following on the local LA scene as a result of their high energy shows, thought provoking lyrics and hook filled songs. The band proceeded to record a series of demos before catching the ear of songwriter/producer Rick Garcia. Garcia, who has an extended list of songwriting/producer credits in the film world heard the bands cover version of the Goo Goo Dolls hit song "Iris." "The band had taken the song and completely made it their own with a unique arrangement and a significant shot of fresh energy" states Garcia. After becoming a fan, Garcia reached out to his longtime friend Mike Malinin, drummer for The Goo Goo Dolls. Together, Garcia and Malinin attended a Velvet Teaparty show and were "blown away" at the bands performance, according to Mike. They approached the band and soon after booked them into Swinghouse Studios to produce a five song EP. The songs were mixed by acclaimed recording/mixing engineer Paul Hager (Katy Perry, The Goo Goo Dolls, Pink, Avril Lavigne, Miley Cyrus). The band's energy is contagious, leaving those that hear them asking for more. With their eclectic approach to rock music they continue captivating more and more people from all walks of life in all parts of the world. The Velvet Teaparty is: Vanessa McNiel (Vocals) Gabriel Maska (Bass/Vocals) Andres Yepez (Guitar) Jonas Streffer (Drums) reverbnation.com/thevelvetteaparty
