Hellllo.... happy summer stars!! What the hell is up? Back in June, I sat down with Seattle-based duo Lobes and Haywire to hear the story of their friendship, collaboration and the stories behind their recent projects. Rapper Alex Olobia, who goes by the name of Lobes, and Hayden Wires, an electronic artist, came together through an event called Party for People, which I helped put on in 2018. From this meeting point of friendship and passion, Lobes mustered the courage and confidence to grow from a Soundcloud Rapper into a performing rapper and the two collaborated to create a full-length album called Samurai Black. Almost 4 years later and Lobes and Haywire continue to perform on local Rap and Hip Hop stages, alongside other friends and collaborators. Both speak to the process of "sending it down the slopes" for the sake of artistry and personal growth and that feeling of being "Brand New" in the process. It was SO friggin' fun to sit down and chat with Lobes and Haywire, who I've personally known for several years now. Thanks for being here, this is what the hell is up. It isn't just bad bitches that the Quaranteam likes! The crew returns to a classic topic and expands on the part 1 (episode 62) list. Are "Frat Bros" truly as despicable as Kristen claims, or are they misunderstood? "The Girl Next Door"... too simple? Or the heart and soul of perfection? The CEO appreciates all artists, but none more than a good 'ole fashioned "Soundcloud Rapper"- the biker skinny jeans, the "I'm on the phone and here's an inspirational caption" Instagram pics, and all. Ever heard of "Dr. Jeykll & Miss Hyde"? Do "Gamers" really have time for relationships? All of these, with an honorable mention to the ever popular "Kingpin", and more. QQH: First up some "Watcha Watching". Lume breaks down the Netflix show "Young, Famous, and African" (he will learn the real title one day). Kristen brings the new Hulu drama "Under the Banner of Heaven ". We all know the CEO loves a good church story... right?! Then, the fall of the very short lived CNN+ leads to a discussion on the land of streaming services. Any talk that involves Hollywood will spark the CEO, who wonders why the Polo Lounge is still gatekeeping. Finally, the episode ends with a breakdown of two "key" albums that just dropped for the summer: Jack Harlow and our toxic king, Future.

Lil Gnar is one kid who knows how to get people's attention. I know he first came to my attention when a video of his grill began trending on Instagram. I will like Lil Gnar, what kinda name is that? It turns out that this skater turned clothing designer turned rapper adopted the moniker from the old skating term Gnarley which is actually pretty dope. Lil Gnar continued to catch my eye online. You've likely seen the video of him getting shot while wearing a bulletproof vest or how about the one where he smashed up a tv screen with some tazer brass knuckles?
At only 16, Lil Mosey has proven to be an artist to keep an eye out for and another super talented rap prodigy who got his start working with basic equipment posting his work onto SoundCloud. Success wouldn't come without its hardships with him losing his close friend and collaborator Kari Cash. If you're watching this buddy, I'm sorry for your loss. Lil Mosey is still pretty new to the game and the information on his is fair and few between, never the less we've Pulled Up some decent info to piece this one together.

Wifisfuneral has some serious rap skills and musical influences that span across multiple genres, including hip hop and rock. While he came up as an artist in South Florida, and many believe he was born and raised there, he is actually originally from the Bronx. Isaiah Rivera was born on March 20, 1997, in the Bronx, New York. His mother was born in Puerto Rico and raised in NYC, while his father roots in Jamaica. Dad was an emcee himself, a Bronx-based freestyle battle rapper. But when Isaiah was still a baby, just six months old, his father left the family. His mother would go on to get remarried, and Isaiah would be raised primarily by his mom and stepdad. But he also spent a lot of time with his grandma and grandpa, who he has said was pretty much like a second set of parents.

Show Notes Episod3 254: “But Are You Getting It? Armageddon It! This week Host Dave Bledsoe discovered the joy of Social Distancing when he realized New York City now allows liquor to go, and passed out in front his own door. (Again.) On the show this week, we look at the other side of the generation coin and talk about all the young people ignoring what they call “The Rona”. (Get ready for some intergeneration sniping!) Along the way we learn about how young people are actively trying to kill their grandparents and frankly are kind of jealous. (Seriously, you kinda WANT to visit a Corona Speakeasy, admit it!) We hear from all the nations of the world who are fed up with the young people and are angrily shouting at them to stop all of this foolishness and come inside right this minute young man! (Like a week ago, they were trying to get them to move out of the house!) Then we are in AWE at the hypocrisy of Fox News who are railing against young people saying the exact same thing they were saying a WEEK ago! (We are not, however, surprised by this!) Then we close to the show with a glimmer of hope for something, ANYTHING good to come out of all of this. (Which is probably unrealistic but the rest of the show was kind of a downer.) Thank you for listening to the first ever full episode of My $ocial Life. My guest today is Hayden Cashion. Hayden is a former SoundCloud rapper who began making music in his senior year of high school. We get into producing content as an artist, performing live (including a crazy story where he freestyled for Logic), and the work it takes to make it as an artist. As an artist Hayden grew his Instagram to over 10,000 followers but he has since put down the mic to become a digital marketer, and a good one at that. Hayden and I talk about how he's grown his Instagram, a great way to get bulk content for your page, and how he uses Instagram to find clients for freelance work (one of the many things he has on the go). In addition to his success on Instagram we discuss what Hayden thinks is a big opportunity in the social media landscape that you should be taking advantage of. What's Beef + DETROIT AND NORTH DAKOTA COME STRONG on Soundcloud Rapper Madness
You know what it is...
Gabe Lezra and Evan Mateer are back to talk about the only story that matters this week: Real Madrid captain and generally hilarious person Sergio Ramos making the much vaunted transition from athlete to Soundcloud rapper. SR4 is the song, and it is generally available on iTunes, Spotify and all your other streaming services. OK cool bye good show. Alright fine, they also talk about all the different end of season news, including Chelsea's victory over Manchester United in the FA Cup final (an indictment of Mourinho, his transfer policies, both?), Bayern losing the DFB Pokal final (funny), and Barcelona losing its invincibles season to Levante 5-4 (funnier). Then it's a conversation about Christian Pulisic, who is apparently being shopped for about GBP 40 million (low!) and Tottenham's potential interest in the American winger, and the transfer market generally. Mario Balotelli come to MLS!
