De heftige voorstelling, in haar lyriek passend in het oeuvre van Alain Platels Les Ballets C de la B waar La Geste uit voortkomt, beschrijft hoe seksueel misbruik door een Roomse priester generaties doorwerkt. De voorstelling is op 16 en 17 juni te zien in het Holland Festival.  Volgens de in 1992 geboren kunstenaar, wier ster razendsnel stijgt in het internationale theater, is de voorstelling geen aanklacht tegen de kerk: 'Maar het staat los van de Rooms-Katholieke kerk. De voorstelling gaat over ervaringen in het algemeen. De voorstelling gaat niet alleen maar over de grootste gewelddaad, maar over heel de weg daarnaartoe. En dat het geweld an sich niet zo monsterlijk is als vaak wordt voorgesteld, maar veel meer nuance heeft, veel meer en ook in verbinding staat met liefde. Dat maakt veel emoties los.' Daniel Havili has been sentenced to two years and nine months in prison for his role in MMA fighter Fau Vake's death. Havili was one of the four men who attacked Vake and his brother in Auckland CBD and he threw a coward punch that knocked Vake to the ground. Vake suffered a brain bleed, and he died in hospital days later. UFC fighter Dan Hooker is a friend and teammate of Fau Vake. He joined Andrew Dickens. LISTEN ABOVE 

Walking in to hear the news today that Daniel Havili had been sentenced to 2 years and 9 months for the manslaughter of Fau Vake Was like being punched in the solar plexus myself. Fau and his brother ended up in a brief brawl against 4 strangers in May last year. The Vake brothers did not throw any punches themselves and were not the aggressors, prosecutors have repeatedly pointed out. Fau died. Hit by Daniel Havili. He fell and hit his head causing a brain bleed. As the judge noted he had no chance to defend himself. The blow is often described as a coward punch.   I prefer killer hit. The CCTV footage clearly shows Fau standing with his arms at his side. Not in fight mode. Havili moved his weight to one side and then lashed out with a well-timed and well-judged punch that felled a Mixed Martial Arts professional instantly. Dan Hooker, the UFC fighter and mate of Fau Vake's, is horrified. He felt there was as much murderous intent in that one punch as in a flurry of 200. But the horror is in the sentence. A man went out, spoiled for a fight and killed someone and the consequence is under 3 years in jail. Perhaps less with parole. Crown Prosecutor Claire Paterson submitted Havili should have a starting point of five-and-a-half years in jail. But that was ignored. Perhaps the problem is in the charge. Manslaughter was not invented for brawlers. Manslaughter generally refers to accidental homicide arising from an unlawful act or failure to act, where death could not reasonably be expected. Can you argue that the severity of brawls these days means that death cannot be expected? We've seen it happen too many times. The City Kickboxing crew are horrified. They have argued all along that the law is wrong. And all along I have agreed. The senseless taking of a life by a drunk man with anger problems cannot be tolerated just like any murder. 

Friends of a rising MMA fighter and father killed in a one punch attack want much tougher minimum sentences, akin to ones Australia has. Today Daniel Havili was sentenced to two years and nine months in prison for the manslaughter of Liufau Vake, a rising MMA fighter. Havili punched Vake in an unprovoked attack. Vake died nine days later in hospital. His friends think less than three years behind bars is "heartbreaking" and "not a deterrent" to killing someone. Jordan Bond reports.

As well as dedicating the victory to Vake, Adesanya has used the moment to ask Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern to reconsider tougher punishments for so-called "coward punches". Clay Wilson reports.

Hallitus teetti selvityksen valtion ja sijoitus- ja kehitysyhtiöiden rooleista. Selvityksessä esitetään Juha Sipilän hallituksen perustaman valtion kehitysyhtiö Vake Oy:n purkamista. Miksi juuri perustettu yhtiö kannattaa nyt purkaa? Politiikkaradiossa haastateltavana selvityksen laatinut varatuomari Jouni Hakala. Haastattelijana Linda Pelkonen. Hakalan tekemässä selvityksessä todetaan, että eri maiden omistus ja ohjauskäytäntöjen välillä on huomattavia eroja. Hakala kertoo Politiikkaradiolle, miksi Suomessa on erilainen tilanne omistusten suhteen kuin monessa muussa maassa. Juha Sipilän hallituksen perustaman kehitysyhtiö Vaken rooli on jäänyt Hakalan mielestä hämäräksi. Politiikkaradiossa vieraina 23. syyskuuna olleet kansanedustajat Erkki Tuomioja (sd.) ja Juhana Vartiainen (kok.) ihmettelivät Vake Oy:n roolia ja perustamisen syitä. Tuomiojan mukaan Vaken "suuri merkitys oli, että sitä kautta siirrettiin eduskunnan päätäntävallan ulkopuolelle eritätin suuri osa tätä yhteistä omaistuutta". Hakala kertoo olevansa samoilla linjoilla Tuomiojan ja Vartiaisen kanssa. Miten valtion omistajaohjauksessa estetään spontaani kiinnostavien osakkeiden shoppailu ja edistetään pitkäjänteistä omistamista? Oliko Sipilän Vake Oy täysin epäonnistunut projekti? Miksi Vake pitäisi purkaa?

Tämän viikon jaksossa Aino Frilander, Tuomas Peltomäki ja Marko Junkkari keskustelevat sisäministeri Maria Ohisaloon liittyvästä "jääprinsessakohusta", eli uskomattoman kovasta some- ja mediamyräkästä joka syntyi kun IS:n toimittaja kuvaili häntä jääprinsessaksi, ja valtion kehitysyhtiö Vake oy:stä, jonka toimitusjohtaja erosi ja jätti koko yhtiön miljardiomaisuuksineen kysymysmerkin varaan, sekä Isis-vaimoista, jotka norjalaislehti VG:n raportoinnin mukaan eivät ole lainkaan niin viattomia kuin haluavat itse esittää.

Jos muut maat panostavat miljardeja euroja huipputeknologian kehittämiseen, onko Suomella varaa katsella sivusta? Valtion Kehitysyhtiön eli Vaken toimitusjohtajalle Taneli Tikalle vastaus on selvä: ei missään nimessä. Valtion omistama osakeyhtiö on pikku hiljaa pääsemässä vauhtiin tulevaisuuskestävän Suomen rakentamisessa. Yhtiön taseeseen on siirretty parin miljardin euron edestä varoja, ja ensimmäiseksi kohteeksi on valittu tekoäly. Tikan mukaan tekoälyn yhteiskunnalliset vaikutukset ovat niin merkittäviä, että Suomen julkisen sektorin on oltava kehityksessä mukana. Tässä jaksossa Tikka kertoo, miten Suomen tulevaisuutta ennakoidaan ja miten valtio voi tukea rohkeita tienraivaajia, joiden ympärille syntyy uusia osaamiskeskittymiä ja kasvua.
