Drew and Rory dive into the world of mood boards—because if you're going to lose your mind over anything, it might as well be perfectly curated AI images. The duo breaks down literally everything you need to know about mood boards in Midjourney, from how to create them to why they're an absolute game-changer. They tackle the mood board vs. style reference debate, explore the magic of personalization, and reveal their strategies for balancing chaos with consistency (spoiler: it's not always pretty). And because no conversation is complete without a side of existential dread, they reflect on the creative curveballs thrown by COVID-19, questionable work-from-home habits, and why upscaling images might just be the hill they die on. Plus, they dream about Midjourney updates that could make their creative lives easier—if only AI could read their minds. Highlights: - Mood boards vs. style references: Literally everything you need to know - Why personalization is the not-so-secret key to creativity - The delicate balance of chaos and consistency in mood boards - Pandemic lessons: Creative workflows and bad hair decisions - Upscaling woes and the endless battle for color fidelity - Midjourney's future If you've ever wondered how mood boards can elevate your creative process (or just need a good laugh), this episode is for you.
Spencer GarrettTake a walk with me down Fascination Street as I get to know Spencer Garrett. In this episode, I get to know the actor and ow he got to where he is. We chat about his family, and what made him decide to get into show business. We trade Hollywood stories; although he has many, MANY more! We take a little detour, when Spencer tells me what he was doing between college and acting; while working in Washington D.C. Next we Talk about how and why he studied with Sanford (Sandy) Meisner, and how Spencer came to be in several of Emilio Estevez's film projects. From behind the scenes on some of the greatest films ever made, to some fun down time with Mike Nichols, and Dustin Hoffman; Spencer is full of stories. I ask Spencer about his involvement in the super popular scripted fiction podcast called America 2.0, and he hints there may be more on the horizon. That leads into an unbelievable story about a group of character actors who meet every month for dinner and have a BLAST together. The CADS, is a group of like-minded actors including: Michael McKean, Lawrence Fishburne, Steven Weber, Titus Welliver, Kevin Pollak, Richard Kind, and so many more! I want to attend this dinner just once!!. Make sure you check out Spencer in the upcoming Korean spy thriller on Disney+ called Tempest (2025), and tell him you heard him on Fascination Street Podcast!
Hey y'all ! Welcome to another Friday with CWCOI ! In this week's episode, our host, Ally Yost talks about what it looks like when we are leaning on our own understanding and how we surrender that over to the Lord. If there's something that you've been waiting on or trying to understand in your life, we hope this episode speaks to you and we believe the Lord will have a word for you in that. "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings." 1 Peter 5:6-9 ☆ SUBSCRIBE TO OUR PATREON ☆ : https://patreon.com/CWCOI If you would like to give to CWCOI and financially support the podcast, you can do so here ! ➤ https://www.paypal.me/CWCOI _____________________________________________ Connect further with us ! Julia Rothman is an award-winning illustrator, pattern maker, NYT columnist and party motivator from New York. Her drawings appear on a variety of things, from newspapers and magazines to posters and billboards, wallpapers, bedding, towels, apparel, mugs and other merchandise. Julia has authored and illustrated over twelve books and has an illustrated column in the New York Times called “Scratch” about small businesses with big personalities. A lot of her projects were self-initiated. Julia just reaches out to people she wants to work with. She enjoys having a variety of projects at the same time and a lot of them are found by proactively pitching ideas. Many artists may not know this, she says, but she encourages everyone to just take a leap and contact prospective clients. You never know who might need your art. Julia likes to maintain a regular drawing practice. She always keeps a sketch pad around and can be found doodling most of the time. Sometimes she draws with friends and other times she just draws to stay busy. If she hasn't drawn for a while, she feels a certain sense of discomfort. She regularly attends drawing nights, meets up with other artists and has co-founded Women Who Draw, an open directory of female* professional illustrators, artists and cartoonists. On this episode we dive deep into how Julia found her way into the illustration world, what teaching at RISD and SVA has taught her, the benefits of starting the year with a More/Less list, and why you shouldn't be afraid of bad drawings. She even shares the backstory of how she became a professional party motivator. Faroese artist, Heiðrik, released his debut album, An Invisible Gun, back in 2007. This was the year Patrick Wolf released The Magic Position and it's striking how these two albums share a very similar Folktronic soundscape, which - listening to them with today's ears - makes them come across as sibling records. Not unlike Patrick Wolf, Heiðrik's artistic talents span across many different genres and mediums. Musically, he collaborates with a variety of Nordic artists including Helena Brimheim, Sigmund and Leah Kampmann, and his releases straddle folk, jazz, country and electro-pop. Outside of creating music, you'll find him directing music videos (he's recently directed Brimheim's excellent new music video, Literally Everything) and, rather impressively, he also spends his time making fine art. He's been nominated for and won quite a lot of awards, including the ‘Best Male Singer' accolade at the Faroese Music Awards in 2017 as well as the 'Best Music Video' award for the single, Monster, in 2018. Sharing his time between the Faroe Islands and Denmark, this past year, Heiðrik released a tribute album to Björk, reinterpreting some of the Icelandic icon's tracks and giving them a whole new apparel. He has also recently put out an album with Leah Kampmann - together they release music under the name Einangran - and this album, although released in the autumn, makes for a perfect soundtrack to winter hibernation. In addition, as part of his duo with Faroese buddy, Sigmund, which is called Koboykex, Heiðrik has recently released a country-style cover version of Kylie Minogue's Padam Padam. In our interview, Heiðrik reflects on how he and the Faroe Islands have evolved since 2007 when his debut album came out; he talks about some of his artistic influences and also sheds some light on his ways of working. Very graciously, Heiðrik has also shared with Melody A.M. an exclusive live version of a beautiful unreleased track called Island Fever, which you can catch during our interview. Over on the Heiðrik page on the Melody A.M. website there's a Heiðrik playlist with a selection of his best tracks. Head over to www.melodyam.com/heidrik.
Lyddesigner: Nina Liv Bendstrup. Redaktør: Morten Narvedsen. The divisions in America increasingly create an environment where everything is political, and the places in society where people who disagree can come together are dwindling as a result. How does our faith act as a compass to guide us through this culture of litmus tests and virtue signalling? When our culture wants us to pick sides and put our faith in politics, how do we lead a different way?Andrew Hanauer, President and CEO of the One America Movement, joined us to discuss how to reject toxic forms of division and offer a moral vision that transcends our divisive and disconnected culture.Support the show
Today I'm sitting down with Brooke Baevsky, aka Chef Bae, an LA-based celebrity private chef to athletes, actors, supermodels, and even royals! She has amassed a massive following of “Food Baes'' on TikTok where she breaks the traditional allergy-friendly food stigma with delicious, health-forward & viral recipes. She also founded a non-profit cooking program for inner-city children & families in both Los Angeles and New York City, teaching people how to create a healthy, balanced diet on a limited budget. Chef Bae's technical background in Holistic Nutrition and Food Science combined with her hilarious, quick-witted personality make this convo and her approach to food so much fun. Links from the ep: use code organicolivia for 15% off functional chocolate mid-day squares Here's the juice: How growing up in a family with tons of food allergies pushed her to get creative in the kitchen at a young age How living in an area with high food insecurity galvanized her to start hosting and teaching community cooking classes for kids The modern-day concept of rebranding anything to make it look like a health food Why she is the antithesis of the “perfect” Instagram chef – making parody content, telling wild stories, and being her authentic self The craziest meal prep that she ever did, like a Caesar salad served at Coachella covered in edible glitter The top bizarre foods and supplements that truly have worked for her professional athlete clients' performance How to zhuzh up your food and drink with herbs, specifically digestive bitters What a day in the life really looks like for a celebrity private chef (and what she cooks for dogs!) How to decide what to charge people for your services, especially in the beginning when you're honing your skill and may be struggling with your self-worth The importance of having mentors in your professional space and asking for help How to find your niche and build your brand in the content creation space How we're transitioning out of the era of perfectly photographed and curated food Connect with Chef Bae: Follow HERE TikTok HERE Youtube HERE Connect with Olivia: Follow HERE Shop herbal formulas HERE

Albert Einstein said that time is relative. He didn't reject the existence of time. Rather, he rejected the distinction between past, present, and future. ⏰⏰⏰ “The light you see now left the sun 8 minutes ago,” a teacher explained, when I was in 2nd grade. “It comes to us really fast, because light travels super-quick. Faster than Superman, even.” I sat in disbelief. We all knew he was faster than a speeding bullet, able to stop a locomotive, and could leap a tall building with a single bound. “Light is so faster that we measure it how far it travels in a full year,” the teacher continued. “We call that distance a light year. So, if something is 4 light years away from the Earth, that means it's a really big distance— light is fast and travels far. So it's the distance away from the earth that light would get if it moved in one direction for 4 full years!” ⭐️⭐️⭐️ This means that If I could see what was happening 4,100 light years away, I could look back and see Abraham being called by God (2,100 BC). Or, if I was 2,000 light years away, I could see Jesus walking on the earth… Time— though we experience it in linear form— is, as Einstein says, relative. What you see depends on where you are— and where you look. And... Since God is everywhere (or, more accurately, since everywhere is present to Him)... And... Since He isn't bound by time or geographic place (in the way we are)... Since He's literally everywhere on the time-space continuum... Then... From His perspective, all of these events are occurring at the exact same moment. ⏰⏰⏰

It's a rainy Monday around here, I hope your week is off to a solid start! Today's episode begins as usual with News, broken up into four sections: Trailers 0:10:40, Movie/TV Updates 0:17:40, General Industry News 0:27:50, and Rumors 0:45:31. Trailers include the first look at Naomi, and a few new clips of Matt Reeves' upcoming The Batman movie, brought to you by a trailer from Warner Japan. Movie and TV updates features bits on The Marvels, the Gotham PD Reeves spinoff show, Shang-Chi, and Netflix's Cowboy Bebop. General Industry News covers the newly announced Wonder Woman video game, and what we know of Marvel in March, specifically Captain Carter, Destiny of X, and most importantly, Immortal X-Men. And finally, rumors goes over the potential The Losers Amazon show, everything you wanted to know about Phyla Vell possibly coming to the MCU, and more on that Shuri (Wakanda Forever) situation. I only had a handful of comic book picks to talk about this week 0:53:13, which were Dark Knights of Steel #2, Inferno #3, Hellions #18 (the series finale and the return of Madelyne Pryor, Goblin Queen!), Devil's Reign #1, and Daisy #1 from Dark Horse, which tbh I forgot to go back to and discuss, but was fantastic. I run through this week's pull list 1:09:30 pretty quick so I can get to the Hawkeye episode four discussion! 1:17:21 As usual, I cover all the easter eggs, hidden details, character references, comic origin material, and every bit of speculation I felt worthy of my time, including one or two theories that I'm personally banking on pretty hard. The next episode is gonna be a big'un, as it'll cover not only this Wednesday's Hawkeye Episode 5, but my spoiler review of Spider-Man: No Way Home! hat's as well as the regular picks and pulls from new comic book day, and relevant industry news, too. Marvel and DC March 2022 solicitations coming soon! My first special edition episode will be coming around the end of the year, featuring my personal Best in Comics 2021 list! Heyyy youuuu!!! I am sooo glad you could tune in to today's episode. Here I talk about perspective of course, starting by defining the 'big word' and relating it to both perception and position referring to this whole concept as The Triple Ps...get it? What is perspective? Why is it important to change it? How can I change it? And if I do, what benefits do I have? With Valentine's coming this weekend, I thought I'd bring it into the episode one way or another and I hope you see where I'm coming from. Thank youuuuu XO
*Starting off the new year by ending season 1. We'll be back in March 2021, though.* WARNING: Off the ripcord, we open the new year with chitlin slander. I apologize in advanced to all the chitlin eaters out there. Kelsey is one of those rare people you meet and you're like, "Did I just meet a hologram?" because the amount of dopeness she outputs is unreal. Her sanguine energy are nothing short of infectious. When she's not on stage in immersive theater, she's out there cycling... LITERALLY CYCLING... with a bicycle, through the United States up to Canada tracing and exploring regional histories of Black uprisings with her project Talking With Ghosts. The project is everything... LITERALLY EVERYTHING: performance art, photography, poetry, music, visuals... The whole 9. For episode 66 of this deliciously amazing podcast surrounding the game of base where people play ball, Tyler's had it with the terrible, horrible, no goodery of Bonnie and Clyde, so he's becoming a federal marshall to hunt those outlaws down. Meanwhile, Michael has taken all the naps and will be returning for more slumper after the recording of this episode. In the world of baseball, yeah the playoffs are going on but holy shit there was so much other shit from September the guys had to cover that they made it into a whole separate episode: this one. Yuli Gurriel is a racist pineapple headed man. What the hell is wrong with Joe West? That's not a joke, we're genuinely curious. I need a beer.
Just a cluster of everything, really. Some of the editing is a bit off due to some new software, but hopefully it's still good. Otherwise, everything's going downhill on today's segment but at least the music's boppin'. Enjoy:) Follow Us On Instagram @vibinwiththeboys
