For this episode, we are highlighting Breast Cancer Awareness & to do so, I have invited Michelle Avila, the Executive Director of Kern County Cancer Foundation. Michelle is an alumnus of the University of Southern California & National University. Michelle agreed to do this episode to share the history of her nonprofit organization as well as share info about cancer in general to our community to have out.  I have also invited Stana Bright, a 3-time Breast Cancer Survivor and an Eligibility Committee Member with Kern County Cancer Foundation. This is Ramon Sanchez, I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker out in California and Host of Destigmatize, a Roundtable mental health podcast where professionals I know, members of my community, and some of my friends can discuss topics worth destigmatizing.  For this episode, I invited Jose Eseberre, aspiring world traveler from Bakersfield CA. I've invited Jose to make an announcement all while being able to talk about his journey of self-discovery & mental health. Jose agreed to come on destigmatize to be able to give his prospects to any who are  going through similar experiences as well as his advice for anyone who wants to take a leap of faith. 

I invited Yuli Avila, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who also obtains her Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) from Bakersfield California. Yuli has her Masters Degree from California State University Bakersfield and has dedicated her career to focus on helping the perinatal population. Yuli agreed to do this podcast to be able to reduce the stigma of mental health issues for pregnant and postpartum families and to be able to discuss sensitive topics related to it. 

For this episode, I invited Nick Gonzalez, a California-based producer & songwriter blending elements of Indie Pop, Chillwave, and Garage Rock. Nick grew up performing Latin Rock with his family band Groupo Feliz & has ventured off to do solo projects through the stage name Loma Lion.
