This podcast is from Just Know How Coaching, presented by Stephanie Steggehuis a NLP Coach with her focus on Time Management and Mindset. In today's episode we talk about: Growth Mindset for ChildrenWe all generally tend towards one of two types of mindsets: a fixed mindset or a growth mindset. We as parents or teachers, or anyone working with kids. Have it in our hands what kind of mindset they develop. Especially in the age up to 8 years old their brain is really implementing the mindset they get to learn. Praise that focuses on intelligence promotes a fixed mindset, which is the belief that intelligence cannot be changed in any meaningful way. Children with a fixed mindset believe they are born with certain character traits and a fixed amount of intelligence and creativity, and that nothing they do will change that in any meaningful way.A growth mindset, which is the belief that intelligence can grow and be strengthened with effort. Children with a growth mindset believe that they are capable of achieving what they want if they put in the time and effort to get there. In this episode I talk about the tips and tricks on how you can help your kids implement the Growth Mindset! This podcast is from Just Know How Coaching, presented by Stephanie Steggehuis a NLP Coach with her focus on Time Management and Mindset. In today's episode we are talking about The Energy you give your mind!Your energy is very important.Where you put your energy, so where you focus your mindset on gives you a good mood or a bad mood, it has a huge impact on how you see, experience and share things with others! We can't change everything, especially when it comes to other people. So why do we spend so much energy on it? It's because it doesn't fit in our blueprint. Our blueprint says that we have to react, be, work etc. in a certain way...But of course everyone has a different blueprint. So you might think someone is a bad leader, but in his or her blueprint he or she is a very good one! Because of this you have a discussion with someone, because that's how you see something, and another person sees it that way. That's good. Because of this, not everyone's the same. The only thing is that it is a sin to put so much energy into something, which wouldn't change in the end anyway! You can't change a person. You can't change a situation.Someone can only change if they want to! Just being annoyed by something doesn't make it any better. It doesn't solve anything. All it does is get you in a bad mood. Nothing else.In this episode I will give examples and tips how you can get yourself wasted out of bad energy!Follow Just Know How Coaching on:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/justknowhowcoaching/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/stephaniesteggehuis/Sign up to receive more Tips & Tricks to crack the code of your mind and Download my Free Time Management e-book by Clicking here!
This podcast is from Just Know How Coaching, presented by Stephanie Steggehuis a NLP Coach with her focus on Time Management and Mindset. In today's episode we are talking about The Self-Esteem BoostMake the thing you like about yourself stronger. You always look for the evidence you are this way, negative or positive. Create evidence, create a ¨future you¨ where you are doing what you would like to do.Convert a negative experience into a counter experience, see it as a learning experienceIt takes time and reflection, but it will workAcknowledge how you feel and be grateful for the positive things in your life and bodyGive yourself a pep-talk Imagine how you will stand, talk, walk, dress, when you are the person you like to beWhat would you do more or do less when you are that person? Why is it so important to be that person? What beliefs do you have now that are holding you back?Where are does beliefs come from? How do they make you feel?Ripple effect, how one change often gives you more changesYou make the reaction, shift your perspective, do not make up what others think shift it to something positive.Beliefs actives automatic filters in our brain, the deep structure what we mean is not always communicates with what we say and this makes us act from an old belief and not the reality.Follow Just Know How Coaching on:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/justknowhowcoaching/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/stephaniesteggehuis/Sign up to receive more Tips & Tricks to crack the code of your mind and Download my Free Time Management e-book by Clicking here!
This podcast is from Just Know How Coaching, presented by Stephanie Steggehuis a NLP Coach with her focus on Time Management and Mindset. In today's episode we are talking about How to Focus on getting a positive MindsetOur brain is usually focused on negative things. But you can change that yourselfOur brain not only determines what we think or feel, but is also shaped by those same thoughts and emotions. Everything we experience leaves traces in the brain, in the form of new connections, or even new brain cells.Positive thinking sounds easier than it is. Because our brains are not in an overly positive state by nature. Thus, negative events impress us more than positive ones, and they linger longer.Learn to think positiveFill your brain with positive experiencesOften we don't even notice all the good things around us. Someone's nice to you, the birds whistle, your sandwich tastes good. Make those positive things last ten seconds with your attention. The longer you keep something in your consciousness and the more intense you experience it, the stronger the connections between the neurons become. In this episode I explain how you can implement a positive mindset and why it is so important! This podcast is from Just Know How Coaching, presented by Stephanie Steggehuis a NLP Coach with her focus on Time Management and Mindset. In today's episode we are talking about Making good decisions! Today I hate it but tomorrow I love it! For example:We are at a seminar together and you experience it as a seminar where speakers are just selling their services, while I experience it as a seminar where an awful lot of information and inspiration is shared and where you have the opportunity to grow by buying their services as well. Everyone has a different perspective. Maybe you're having a bad day and that's why you don't like it. A week later you might think, wow actually it was quite inspiring. You have different expectations or you may have been influenced by someone else's his/hers thoughts. This creates a difference of opinion about the same kind of event. Someone's thought and expectation plays a part in how someone experiences this. Our thoughts have a lot to do with the opinion we give and the emotion we attach to them. That's why you can be very negative about something one day and not like it, while the next day maybe you don't it mind at all. What I want to say with this is, never make a decision from one moment to the next. Always think about something, because that's how you can find something great one day and not like it the next.Think about things and reflect before you create your facts (thoughts).Follow Just Know How Coaching on:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/justknowhowcoaching/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/stephaniesteggehuis/Sign up to receive more Tips & Tricks to crack the code of your mind and Download my Free Time Management e-book by Clicking here!

This podcast is from Just Know How Coaching, presented by Stephanie Steggehuis a NLP Coach with her focus on Time Management and Mindset. In today's episode we are talking about Your Brain and Body! Our body reacts to something before our brain does! We have 90 seconds between the trigger in our body and the reaction we are creating in our brain! You can notice a trigger in your body by tingling in your fingers, pressure on your neck, maybe a weird feeling in your stomach. Recognize your trigger to take control over your reaction! The brain controls your ability to think, talk, feel, see, hear, remember things, walk and much more. It even controls your breathing. The brain is divided two cerebral halves: left and right. The right half controls the left side of the body. The left half controls the right side of the body. Each halves has four sections, called lobes: frontal, parietal, temporal and occipital. Each lobe controls specific functions. For example, the frontal lobe controls personality, decision-making and reasoning, while the temporal lobe controls, memory, speech, and sense of smell.Frontol lobe is in developing until we are 25-30 years old!The theory is that people are either left-brained or right-brained, meaning that one side of their brain is dominant. If you’re mostly analytical and methodical in your thinking, you’re said to be left-brained. If you tend to be more creative or artistic, you’re thought to be right-brained.Follow us onFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/justknowhowcoaching/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/stephaniesteggehuis/Signup to receive more Tips & Tricks to crack the code of your mind and Download my Free Time Management e-book: https://bit.ly/2RQmOEM
This podcast is from Just Know How Coaching, presented by Stephanie Steggehuis a NLP Coach with her focus on Time Management and Mindset. In today's episode we are talking about Raising your standards! You can try to change your Mindset, behavior et cetera.....as much if you like, but if you are not Raising your Standards you never never fully grow.Something Tony Robbins always says is: Turn your Shoulds into Musts! This is exactly what you need to do also. If you know you SHOULD do something to become more successful, DO IT. Say yo yourself your MUST do this instead of you should do this. Our energy in our brain goes exactly where we put our focus on. Knowing what you want, being clear on your standards is making sure that you focus on the things you want.If your standard is to get a little bit more money, with one dollar extra a month you have achieved it already. Be clear and detailed! However we tend to think way more detailed about the things we do not want, what does that get us? Exactly the things we do not want! In this episode we dive a little deeper into that!Start raising your standard today!Follow us onFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/justknowhowcoaching/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/stephaniesteggehuis/Signup to receive more Tips & Tricks to crack the code of your mind and Download my Free Time Management e-book: https://bit.ly/2RQmOEM
This podcast is from Just Know How Coaching, presented by Stephanie Steggehuis a NLP Coach with her focus on Time Management and Mindset. In today's episode we are going to talk about what a mindset actually is and why we can change it and also what beliefs and attitude have to do with itOur mindset is our collection of thoughts and beliefs that shape our thought habits. And our thought habits affect how we think, what we feel, and what we do. The beliefs we have about anything in our life are created over a period of time through a consistent way of thinking. We could think of our mind as a big cave, filled with different caverns. Our beliefs are truths that have been formed by a constant trickle of thoughts through our mind. Some beliefs have grown quite large over time and are practically indestructible, as if they were, well, set in stone. Some are thin around the base and can be broken easily. So our mindset is based on our beliefs that we have created in our life. Therefore it is simple to change your mindset, because you need to change your beliefs. However, it is not easy! How to do a belief change? What is an attitude and why is an attitude not a mindset? How have a Belief, Attitude and Mindset a connection?
