So many people feel lost, lonely, isolated and anxious at the moment, partially due to uncertainty, partially due to left hemisphere overdrive, partly due to censorship and extreme abstrations of com-part-mentalising a complex reality. The mind that tries to know, control, manipulate and break apart, greatly distorts the cohesive manifacted whole that at our hearts we know we are, come from, yearn for and strive from to create meaningful relationships. Seeing and feeling without bias through meditative and contemplative practices gives us back the space we require to embrace life more fully. Science is a basis for the profound study of the essence of life, but can never reveal more fully what we intuitively already know, that life without devoting some aspect of life to the divine leaves our lives feeling meaningless and without direction or worth, and in that void science can and does lead to dogma. Shira talks about how women are the reason there is Life, and not honouring that in our systems is the underlying factor to dis-ease, dysfunction and dis-organ-I-sation. We're free to work for our money, drive cars, live alone, take any professional path and even become leaders. But the path for a woman is always a battle field that encroaches upon our self-esteem and self-worth. In religious texts, media and medical instituitions we're bombarded with messages of being inferior, or objectified as some thing to be had by another. Add the fact that we have 4 phases each month and 4 extra cycles over a life time then men, and you understand why women are 30% more likely to burnout.
