Her passion for women's health peaked during her own transition into perimenopause when she struggled to find the support she needed. While her background in Functional Medicine helped her understand the physical changes, the emotional and spiritual upheaval was something she had to navigate alone. This experience sparked the creation of Sol Women—a space dedicated to guiding women through all stages of womanhood, from hormones and health to emotional and spiritual well-being. Nandita lives in Bee Cave, Austin, with her two children, ages 13 and 8. Lauren Colletti, FNP, is a Nurse Practitioner and Board-Certified Functional Medicine expert with a deep passion for women's health. Kamini Wood challenges the cultural narrative that "no contact" is a modern trend or a sign of emotional immaturity, reframing it instead as a painful last resort often necessary for survival. She provides a critical framework for discernment, distinguishing between avoidance—the urge to flee temporary discomfort or vulnerable repair—and self-protection, which is a vital response to chronic destabilization, repeated boundary violations, and power imbalances. Kamini explores how high-functioning adults can inadvertently "self-gaslight" by labeling their physiological need for safety as a personal failure of character. By acknowledging the complex grief that accompanies the decision to sever a bond, she encourages listeners to move toward emotional maturity by evaluating the patterns, safety, and consistency of their relationships to determine when to lean into growth and when to honor their need for preservation

Morgan Myles on ‘Laced': Turning a Broken Engagement into an Album, Surviving Nashville, and Staying Authentic in the AI EraIn this Curious Goldfish episode hosted by Jason English, singer-songwriter Morgan Myles discusses her upcoming album Laced (releasing February 13 on Galentine's Day) and the personal upheaval that shaped it, including calling off her wedding, buying and then selling a house with her ex-fiancé, and touring through the chaos. She explains how the album title shifted from Language of Flowers to Laced, describing lace as delicate yet resilient, and shares how she used her 20-foot wedding veil—taken to Joshua Tree two weeks after the breakup—as the album cover. Morgan compares Laced to her 2020 album Therapy, outlines the two-year process of writing 80 songs in five months and narrowing them to 12 for vinyl with producer Ross Hogarth, and talks about performing while dealing with stress, compartmentalizing, faith, and negativity on social media. The conversation explores how fans can support artists in streaming, emphasizing that actively searching for an artist and listening to full songs signals algorithms, and addresses the flood of AI-generated music and its impact on songwriters, demo singers, session players, and industry economics. Morgan shares her view of authenticity, discusses songwriting themes like gaslighting and the power of words, and explains protecting vulnerability by staying close to trusted people. She talks about writing with Gary Nichols, what she learns from his perspective, and highlights tracks including “Love Is Lonesome” and “American Sky,” which she wrote to evoke bipartisan hope while addressing phone toxicity, food chemicals, veteran support, financial education, school tragedies, and media hate. Morgan reflects on her positive experience on The Voice as valuable exposure, her goals of continuing to write, tour, and build her fanbase, and ends by sharing what she's curious about now—especially history and learning how to meditate.00:00 From ‘Language of Flowers' to ‘Laced': the veil that became the album cover01:09 Welcome to Curious Goldfish + quick listener survey on streaming & AI02:24 Meet Morgan Myles: survival, breakup inspiration, and authenticity in the AI era03:38 Ice storm in Nashville: weather chaos and keeping the lights on05:28 Laced release week + comparing the new album to Therapy10:32 80 songs in 5 months: choosing the final tracklist with Ross Hogarth11:55 The symbolism of lace: engagement, heartbreak, and women's stories13:33 Performing through pain: staying joyful onstage and handling trolls16:59 How fans can help in the streaming era: algorithms, full listens, and search intent21:06 AI in music: inevitable shift, lost royalties, and protecting the soul of songs27:29 Breaking Down the Album: Passion, Despair & Song Themes28:56 Why Words Matter: Songwriting, Gaslighting & Relationship Red Flags30:29 Vulnerability vs Self-Protection (and Handling Online Judgment)33:03 Pet Peeves & “Icks”: Attention, Alone Time, and Basic Respect34:09 Writing with Gary Nichols: Process, Perspective & Musical Authenticity37:24 “Love Is Lonesome”: When Love Hurts and How to Nurture It39:54 “American Sky”: Hope, Division, and a Bipartisan Message45:56 Where She's Headed Next: Career Goals, The Voice, and Staying Grateful49:55 Final Question: What She's Most Curious About (History, Meditation & Life)52:37 Wrap-Up: Album Release, Thanks, and Where to Stream

If you're feeling drowned out by lookalike messaging and cookie-cutter funnels you're not alone. In this episode, Yvette unpacks how “protection patterns” in your open Human Design centers secretly dull magnetism, blur positioning, and stall sales and how to shift into clean authority that converts. She walks through each of the nine centers and ties them directly to real marketing friction: the head's niche-hopping loops, the ajna's wait-for-certainty silence, the throat's forced visibility, the G center's identity shape-shifting, the ego's proving energy, the solar plexus' discomfort avoidance, the spleen's clinging to familiar offers, the sacral's productivity myths, and the root's urgency spirals. You'll learn why visibility alone doesn't sell, why repetition builds recognition and trust, and how to anchor your brand around a specific outcome your clients truly desire. She gets practical about regulating patterns without spiritual bypassing: commit to one clear idea long enough to be felt, speak at 70% comfort instead of chasing perfection, delay action when urgency is driving, and design offers and launch rhythms around energy you can sustain. She shares how dropping proving and urgency created daily demand in her own business, and why authority grows when your message is honest, timely, and consistent across channels. As promised, if you're feeling called to better define what you're here to be known for...so you can become the obvious choice and succeed in 2026, make sure you jump on "Famous For by Design" while it's just $27.----------------------------------Please come say hi!Join the Human Design for Marketing FB group, here where I go behind the episode scenes and answer your questionsFollow me on IGCheckout our YouTube channelDownload your Human Design chartDownload your custom Human Design for Marketing Reading (report) + Frieda
This episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson covers the conversations people don't want to have, but that won't go away just because they're uncomfortable. We start with the newly released Epstein files and why their implications are being downplayed, rushed past, or deliberately blurred by our government. Then we address the circulating TPUSA / Erika Kirk / Charlie Kirk assassination-related news, breaking down what has actually been reported, what remains unclear, and why responsible people should care about facts, timelines, and accountability (as Candace Owens does). Truth matters, not carefully crafted false narratives.I also speak candidly about Trump's failures because blind loyalty helps no one, and criticism is not betrayal. If leadership is going to demand trust, it has to earn it. Same goes for respect. Finally, because many of you have asked, I address some personal matters: ongoing unwanted attention from men I have clearly and firmly removed from my life, including an individual by the name of Timothy Ronald C. (I will reveal his full legal name publicly if he does not leave me alone) and an ex whose post-NFL career implosions are not my responsibility to manage, nor care about. To be clear: this is not “dragging” solely for entertainment purposes. This is about boundaries I have made (which are very known). I am in a happy, healthy relationship, I have moved on, and these men will never see me again. This episode is about truth, discernment, and refusing to be bullied—politically, culturally, or personally—into silence. This is America, home of the brave and land of the FREE.--https://www.bible.com/

In this episode, we expose one of the most destructive lies in marriage: the belief that love must be earned or protected. From the serpent's deception in Eden to the shame-driven patterns we still repeat today - performing, hiding, defending, and blaming - we unpack how fear distorts intimacy and disconnects us from God and each other. We reveal how God responded to Adam and Eve's shame not with rejection, but with sacrificial love, clothing them Himself (Genesis 3:21). We also connect this truth to marriage, showing how Christ calls couples out of self-protection and into grace-driven oneness. With insights from Edward Welch, biblical restoration stories, and practical marriage steps, you'll learn how to replace shame with connections, fear with honesty, and performance with rest. If you want to cultivate emotional safety, spiritual unity, and true intimacy, this episode will help you return to God's original design: naked, unashamed, and fully loved.
Dr. Ann Kelley is joined LIVE from Psychotherapy Networker with Dafna Lender, to explore the complex dynamics of parent-child estrangement. Focusing on the emotional and psychological impacts of cutting off family relationships, together they highlight the cultural influences that contribute to these estrangements, the therapeutic perspectives on navigating such situations, and the importance of empathy and boundaries in managing family dynamics. This conversation is about learning to hold both empathy and boundaries - understanding why someone might step away, and how to stay grounded and compassionate in the process. It's an honest look at the heartbreak, the healing, and the hope that can emerge when families face difficult truths. View the full episode shownotes at TherapistUncensored.com/TU284
Shadow work around numbing, not caring, and giving zero f*cks explores the self-protective side of emotional shutdown — and how to gently reawaken the parts of us that care an awful lot.In this episode of Wholehearted Loving, Georgianna and Steph unpack how avoidance, denial, and numbness often began as brilliant childhood survival strategies. Georgianna shares a deeply moving story about her son's “I don't care” — and how meeting his shutdown with compassion revealed a tender sensitivity beneath the surface. Steph reflects on her own years of “not caring” and how that numbness was actually proof of how deeply she cared, without tools to manage the feelings that come with caring.Together, they explore how to create inner spaciousness without shutting down, and how to reclaim the part of us that still longs for connection, safety, and care — for ourselves and others.Discover how:“I don't care” can signal care that's gone undergroundSpaciousness builds capacity for love, not distance from itFeeling is the bridge back to passion and aliveness"Like finding gold." – Alma W."The best therapy I've ever done for myself." – Sanjeev B.LIVE training & practice programs:wholeheartedloving.comGet our self-compassionate body-based toolkitEvery episode begins and ends with a body-based self-connection practice, so you can grow your capacity to be with all that life brings. I needed to step away from the ADHD Writer's Summit. In this episode I share about what led me to this decision: the wall I hit around capacity, unstable meds, reflection in therapy. I'm unpacking the guilt of saying no, and how I'm learning to see these moments as reparenting and care instead of spiraling into shame. If you've ever wondered whether your ‘self-sabotage' is really just your neurodivergent support needs showing up, this one's for you.
In this episode, Guy talked with Michael Sandler and they explored the profound journey of embracing one's mystic nature by overcoming fears and following the pulls of the heart. Michael shared his experiences about the importance of surrender, the lessons learned from his spiritual practices, and the joys and challenges of being an empath. The conversation covered topics like balancing spiritual insights with daily life, maintaining personal boundaries, and practicing gratitude and love. They also discussed the impact of life experiences, such as becoming a parent and navigating professional pivots, on spiritual growth and authenticity. Michael invited listeners to join his School of Mystics for a transformative journey in expanding their consciousness and living authentically. About Michael: Michael Sandler is the co-host of the popular Inspire Nation Show, a transformational, self-help, spiritually focused podcast and YouTube channel, along with his wife, fellow coach, and teacher, Jessica Lee. He is a best-selling author, speaker, entrepreneur, visionary, coach, and the co-creator of Inspire Nation University and the Automatic Writing Experience online course. Having been a world-class athlete and coach, competing at the international level in cycling, along with being a competitive speed skater, Ironman triathlete, and runner, Michael has applied those same training skills to being a life coach to teachers, leaders, and visionaries. He is a life-long meditation practitioner and meditation teacher. Two near-death accidents led to the conception of the Inspire Nation show, the creation of the Automatic Writing Experience, and the writing of this book. These devastating accidents led Michael to a much deeper understanding about the world, of Spirit, and of our connection to something greater than ourselves. He calls this “getting the big picture” and from that this book emerged. Once driven purely by performance and results as an endurance athlete, Michael survived the near-fatal accidents that cracked his heart open and helped him discover a kinder, gentler way of moving through life, one that arguably makes an even greater impact on others and the planet. That's what he calls being an open-hearted warrior, and to his mission to elevate consciousness, shift humanity, and help people truly discover their greatest self. Despite twin titanium femurs and hips, as a result of the accidents, he continues to run, skate, bike, and play in the mountains or explore the world with Jessica, their daughter Hana, three kitty cats, along with Roo Roo the Wonder Rooster, always in prayer, always connected to Spirit. The Love, Happiness and Success Podcast With Dr. Lisa Marie Bobby
Have you ever been totally into someone and then suddenly… you get the ick? One minute you're feeling the spark, the next you're questioning everything over something as small as flip-flops. Getting the ick can feel like a dealbreaker, but does it really mean your relationship is doomed - or is it pointing to something deeper inside of you? In this episode, I talk with therapist and journalist Matt Hussey about what the ick really is, why it shows up, and how to handle it without panicking or shutting down. We'll look at the biology of disgust, the ways old hurts and perfectionism can shape our reactions, and how curiosity can transform that “ugh” moment into an opportunity for growth and connection. Matt also points out (as he shared in Vogue) that sometimes the ick is less about your partner and more about self-protection. Instead of working through discomfort or vulnerability, we latch onto surface-level quirks. Understanding that difference between a fleeting ick and a real red flag can help you respond with clarity instead of fear. Episode Breakdown: 00:00 What Is the Ick? 03:00 Getting the Ick in Modern Relationships 11:13 Why Curiosity Matters More Than Snap Judgments 22:07 Self-Protection, Trauma, and the Ick 29:15 How to Handle the Ick in Relationships 38:29 Avoidant Attachment and the Ick 44:10 Fantasy vs. Reality in Love Reflect with me for a moment: What has triggered the ick for you in the past? Did it reveal something about your partner, or did it say more about what was happening inside of you? And how might curiosity change the way you respond the next time those feelings come up? The desire to pursue a passion can be a powerful motivator for individuals, often driving them to learn and grow despite feelings of unqualification or inexperience. This theme is vividly illustrated in this podcast episode featuring tattoo artist Chris Crooks, who shares his journey into the world of tattooing with host Aaron Della Vedova. From a young age, Chris was immersed in tattoo culture, with both of his grandfathers and his father sporting tattoos. This early exposure ignited a desire within him to become a tattoo artist, even before he fully understood the craft. He reflects on how the "desire to do it was bigger than the capabilities," highlighting a common experience among many who pursue their passions. This intrinsic motivation propelled him to acquire the skills necessary for success in tattooing, despite his initial lack of experience. Aaron sits down with Chris at Gods of Ink in Frankfurt, Germany. Aaron reflects on the tattoo artist journey that is rarely straightforward and lacks a clear roadmap. The conversation explores the intricacies of the tattooing process and the passion that fuels artists in this creative field. Tune in for insights into the art of tattooing and the stories behind the ink. Erin & Elizabeth talk with Gen-X icon Ione Skye (Say Anything, River's Edge, Zodiac), the actress and author of the NYT-bestselling memoir SAY EVERYTHING. Ione's father is the 60s folk wizard and Sunshine Superman, Donovan. But while Donovan did claim Ione's brother Dono as his own, he referred to Ione since birth only as "the girl," only meeting her for the first time when she was by that point a famous teenager. Ione tells us about how his abandonment affected her early romantic relationships with musicians (Anthony Kiedis, Adam Horovitz), what her husband Ben Lee has taught her about consistency, love and fatherhood, and how the road from rejection to reconciliation is paved with self-protection.
