We are back in the Cruze missile silo! We are talking all about the NASCAR Xfinity Series surprise winner and Joey Logano punching his ticket to the final four in the Cup Series Playoffs. We review all the action from Las Vegas and look ahead to Homestead. F1 was running in Austin, Texas at the Circuit of the Americas and we review the big win for Ferrari and the points standings going into the Mexican Grand Prix. Thanks for tuning in!
Steve Letarte and the guys started out reviewing last weekend's race at Watkins Glen, and, specifically, what Chris Buescher's win did to Tampa Timms' bet slip. Then, their attention turned to the current books as NASCAR heads to Bristol this weekend for the final race in the first round of the Cup Series Playoffs. Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin, Chase Elliott, Christopher Bell and Brad Keselowski all sit in Tier 1 of the Professor's model. The sportsbooks aren't as high on Elliott as the model is, so some value can be found there.Kyle Busch is in Tier 2, but his success at Bristol can't be overlooked.Denny Hamlin has won the last two races at Bristol, but is limping into the race below the cutline. Steve and The Professor break down how many points Denny needs to earn in order to advance. On the flipside, Alex Bowman has had a great Playoffs so far, and yet, the books have him plus-money for a top-10. Tampa Timms is all over that bet.Martin Truex Jr. also sits below the cutline, but unfortunately for him, he doesn't have a good track record at Bristol, so this is a race you should fade him.Looking for a longshot? Michael McDowell is a longshot Top-10 driver Tampa Timms is paying attention to this weekend. Timms might even bet McDowell for Top Ford. On Friday night, Dale Earnhardt Jr. returns to the Xfinity Series for just one race. At +1000 odds, Steve thinks you have to at least put $1 on him. The guys then move to football and have a new in-show bet to debut. Each week, all four guys will select one bet to combine for a 4-leg parlay with each person betting $5. Of course, we're off to a great start with The Professor and Steve picking the same bet, so this week, it's a 3-leg parlay:               Liberty -6.5 vs East Carolina               Tennessee -6.5 vs Oklahoma               Las Vegas Raiders -5.5 vs Carolina Panthers. The guys also have bets on Colorado, USC, Washington, IU, Syracuse and more. For more Dirty Mo Dough content head to our YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@DirtyMoDough
Back this week after a fantastic weekend of racing! The Cup Series Playoffs are set after a wild race Sunday night in Darlington. Briscoe hits and wins with the walk off! We make all our playoff predictions and debate who's going to win and where and give a little preview of Atlanta coming up this weekend. F1 had a great race in Italy as Ferrari runs the strategy perfect and tests the limits of the tires to get Leclerc the win at Ferrari's home grand prix! We go over the NHRA winners from Indy and talk about the results of IndyCar's double header in Milwaukee.Â
With Emma's Maxwell (Don't Starve) fursuit done and ready to go for a fan convention coming up and Adrian having already tried one of Starbucks' Oleato drinks just for the sake of trying, the two co-hosts go into the Other World to talking about Laika's first independent production, Coraline, as the twitchy witchy girl celebrates fifteen years since it hit theaters! After discussing about its story and production, Emma lets Adrian explain about the new NASCAR docuseries that's streaming on Netflix, titled NASCAR: Full Speed, intended as a look back at last season's Cup Series Playoffs and to build up hype for the sport's upcoming season this year. This episode was intended for release on February 6, but due to certain unforeseen circumstances, has now been released on February 10. Landon and Parker return to break down Parker's playoffs exit and what he could have done differently. Landon also shares his experience running into a fan in New York. The duo move the discussion towards the cup series, detailing how AJ is so good at road courses, breaking down corner cutting rules, and checking in on their playoff brackets. Parker shares his experience being a fan for the cup race, specifically the restroom situation. Auto Club speedway has construction signs appear, signaling that something is happening on the stalled project. The discussion turns towards Formula 1, where the Qatar weekend exposed how on the edge the drivers were, and how the heat nearly pushed the drivers off the edge. Teammates get connected and one receives a 5 figure fine. McLaren breaks a record in Qatar and sets the fastest pit stop EVER. Finally, Parker gets on his soapbox where he proudly declares his stance on track limits, and how the FIA president agrees to an extent with Parker. Producer Josh locates another meaningless points hypothetical to annoy Landon, diving into how dominate Max Verstappen is and how Red Bull could be Constructors Championship leaders without Perez.
