Recorded: June 9th 2026 | Welcome back to another episode of Racin’ With The Boys. We are joined this week by two buddies who have long history together, Noah Gragson and Chase Briscoe. The guys start off the show talking about pre-race superstitions, which one of them, is pretty out there. Noah and Chase get into how their friendship started and what it was like racing together at Stewart-Haas Racing. For Chase, Tony Stewart was his favorite driver growing up. He talks about how cool it was being able to race for his idol and they both get into what it was like searching for a new ride when the team shut down. Each of the guys talk about how they got into racing and Chase’s story of how he got a ride is a crazy story. Noah and Chase also say how they think NASCAR should allow fighting again back in the sport and how it brings more viewership. Chase and Noah get into what their pre-race anxiety is like and what the pressure is like week in and week out. Chase drives for Joe Gibbs Racing and when he first joined the team he thought if he didn’t win, he would lose his job. Both of the guys stared in NASCAR’s mini movie “NASCAR vs. Navy: The San Diego Mini Movie”. They talk about how cool of an experience that was and who is the better actor between the two of them. The boys end the show talking about having to go to the bathroom during the race and each have crazy stories about what it’s like. All in all, this is a fun listen and really shows the guys personalities throughout. Fresh off his Nashville victory, Denny Hamlin is back on Actions Detrimental to break down one of the wildest weekends of the season. The biggest story? A bet between The Denny Bros and the No. 45 team that escalated far beyond its original low-stakes beginnings. What started as friendly trash talk turned into a full-blown competition, with the stakes getting higher throughout the weekend and bragging rights hanging in the balance. Denny also walks through his race-winning performance, from fighting through the field with a car that wasn't built for dirty air to executing the late-race restarts that put him in position to battle for the win. He explains what he was thinking during the closing laps, why he felt confident on the bottom groove, and how everything came together at the right time to deliver one of the most unlikely and rewarding victories of his career. The conversation also covers the decision to stay out on old tires, Nashville's unique racing characteristics, tire strategy, brake issues throughout the field, standout performances from across the garage, Ross Chastain's playoff outlook, Corey Heim's promotion to a full-time Cup ride with 23XI Racing, and what lies ahead as the series heads to Michigan. Busch was the younger brother of 2004 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series champion Kurt Busch. Born and raised into a racing family in Las Vegas, Nevada, Busch began helping work on race cars as a child before moving into competitive driving in go-karts and short-track racing during his adolescence. By his early teens, he was already winning local championships; Busch’s rapid rise through stock car racing caught the attention of major teams. He made his national NASCAR debut in 2001 in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, competing for Roush Racing. In 2003, he joined Hendrick Motorsports as a development driver and later advancing to NASCAR's major touring series. Busch remained with Hendrick Motorsports through the 2007 season before joining Joe Gibbs Racing in 2008, where he competed through 2022 and achieved the most successful stretch of his career. In 2023, he moved to Richard Childress Racing, continuing his career with the organization until his death in 2026. Busch is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished and influential drivers of his generation, as well as one of the defining competitors in NASCAR history, known for his dominance across all three of the sport's national touring series. At the time of his death, he ranked ninth on the all-time NASCAR Cup Series wins list and first in overall wins between the top three NASCAR divisions. Amongst his various accolades, Busch was the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series champion and a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, winning titles in 2015 and 2019, and was named as one of the NASCAR's 75 Greatest Drivers class in 2023. He was also the recipient of several awards, including two NASCAR Rookie of the Year awards and two ESPY Awards for best driver. Outside of stock car racing, Busch briefly held the WWE 24/7 Championship. Known for his aggressive driving style and demeanor, Busch earned several nicknames over the course of his career. In addition to his driving career, Busch owned and operated Kyle Busch Motorsports, a race team that competed in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series from 2011 to 2013 and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series from 2010 to 2023.This recording reflects the Wikipedia text as of 04:19 UTC on Friday, 22 May 2026.For the full current version of the article, see Kyle Busch on Wikipedia. This podcast uses content from Wikipedia under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License.Visit our archives at wikioftheday.com and subscribe to stay updated on new episodes.Follow us on Bluesky at @wikioftheday.com.Also check out Curmudgeon's Corner, a current events podcast.Until next time, I'm neural Joey.
