Misinfomecials Presents: Man In The Van with Jacob Jonas. Jacob has set out on a cross-country adventure, and he will be calling in occasionally to update us on his journey. This is true journalism in its highest form. This episode captures Jacob as he's first arriving at the Gathering of the Juggalos and he gave us a live reaction on the phone as he's walking around the grounds of the festival. The interview continues with Jacob calling back after experiencing both the Gathering of the Juggalos and The Creationist Museum. The Gathering was an insane experience for Jacob, and he gives us a recap of the whole 4-day journey. He then goes into the story of his adventure at the Creationist Museum and explains how wildly insane the contrast is between going from The Gathering to The Museum. The Love, Hate and Chaos this man has witnessed so far is truly wicked and we're excited to have out Man in the Van keeping us up to date on the pulse of America. Check out Jacob's channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCujNO4Cz42WodqT89GhR0Jw/featured He is doing a series called Free or Dead. This show features local Denver comedians talking about anything and everything within the Colorado comedy scene. We hope to create a space where people can say whatever they want, and we are not a success until we have someone lose their job at SNL. This week on the podcast we have Darius Dinkins and Jacob Jonas. Beginning with a bit of background on our guests, we discuss Denver comedy pre/post pandemic, and the different "classes" within the scene. Dylan and Evan recap their recent roast battle (doing a few unused jokes), and the group talks about the Dead Room show with a few of the wildest stories, and Darius's confusion when doing the show for the first time. After a segment of "favorite conspiracy", we do "this day in the pandemic" which leads to us coming up with jobs Joe Biden should actually be doing and BLM protest stories. The group listens to a few voicemails, and that brings up a "long" discussion about onlyfans. Evan does his "Quick Hits", and then we watch a couple videos. Darius tells a story about his embarrassing moment at "The Comedy Store", and the podcast ends with a round of "Prince v.s. Marilyn Manson" as well as "Urban Dictionary Guessing Game". Throughout the show, we break down jokes, tell stories from the local scene and discuss all of the important things happening all around the world. The hosts Evan Fitzgerald and Dylan Kantor had a great time with these guests and would like to thank them for coming by the studio!

Slaughterhouse Studios and Deadroom Comedy came together to create a new idea of having local comedians perform stand-up to a literally Dead Room. The audience was asked ahead of time to do everything they can to not laugh during a 1 minute performance and the comedians have to work above and beyond to get the laughs out of the crowd. The show is opened by Noah Reynolds (of Chicken And The Nuggets Podcast) with a hilarious set of conventional comedy and then Jeff Stonic and Jacob Jonas (of Dessert with DeadRoom Comedy Podcast) begin the new game "1 Minute In A Dead Room". Each comedian is given a score after their performance based off of how many laughs they can get out of the crowd within their 60 seconds, and then the hosts reset room, and clock for the next comedian. This podcast was recoded in real time with a live audience within the DeadRoom basement, in the heart of Cap Hill in Denver Co. The Comedians that participated in the Dead Room Minute Game in order: Elliot Weber, Evan Fitzgerald, Joshua Danger Emerson, Alec Flynn, Jason Fearn, Noah Reynolds, Oshee Baugus, Corey Cooley, Austin Langely, CJ Gauvain and Josh Donoghue. Slaughterhouse Studios is proud and excited to be working with DeadRoom Comedy on these live shows, and if you are interested in finding out future shows and performances by the DeadRoom Comedy boys you can look them up on Instagram and or Facebook. They also put out weekly sketches on YouTube and IGTV.

Jacob Jonas is a true polymath: not only an artistic director, choreographer, teacher and dancer, but a photographer, filmmaker, producer and curator”, as said by Dance Magazine. This episode is off the charts on how Jacob approaches artistry, choreography and being a visionary. It was incredible listening to his process and his journey to present date.
Jacob Jonas, the founder of the Los Angeles-based dance company, Jacob Jonas The Company, guides us through his ideas of form, movement and the dynamics between the dancer and their potential. He explores the dichotomy and tension between the dancer's inner self and the outside world, focusing on personal growth and essence of dance, culminating in the simple, yet powerful phrase — “Let's let them dance.”
Our guest this week, Jacob Jonas, is only a few years younger than us but boy does he make us look old. We discuss his childhood ADD medications and then we make a reference to Brendan Fraser in The Mummy that he's too young to get and we nearly get into a fist fight. We also discuss edibles, time warps, and how to do a proper Mitch Hedberg impression. Don't worry, we cut off the dialogue long before we start ranting about the prison industrial complex. We simply end with a reading from Numbers 23:23: "For there is no magic curse against Jacob, nor is there any divination against Israel." click here for the (uncut) video @jacob_jonas_comedy and here's his YouTube channel. @alanbromwell @coreyjcooley theperilouspodcast.com alanbromwell.com Adderall Admiral by Danny Brown A.D.H.D. by Kendrick Lamar

http://annettbone.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Its-Never-Too-Late-To-Be-Great.png () Age is just a number. State of mind, not date of birth. And, it's never too late to be great. I resonate so much with these words. I was so delighted to have a conversation with a remarkable woman by the name of Marjorie Goodson who is yet another awesome testimonial for these impactful statements. A dancer, an artist and an author, Marjorie thought that creating her beautiful dance book would be a good distraction from her daughter leaving for college. However, this distraction has turned into a delicious work of art that has brought much media attention and artistic growth. Jacob Jonas gives Tyson a crash course on the artistic discipline of dance + choreography, starting from his beginnings with the Calypso Tumblers and being a street artist, through building his own dance company and more. *
