Ukrainas humānās un  kultūrdomas vēstnese Eiropā – tā var teikt par mūsdienu ukraiņu rakstnieci Oksanu Zabužko.  Kopš Krievijas pilna mēroga iebrukuma Ukrainā viņa turpina publiski skaidrot kara kontekstu, Ukrainas un Krievijas attiecību vēsturi.  Latvijas Laikmetīgās mākslas centra tulkojumu sērijā izdotajiem darbiem pievienojas ukraiņu autores Oksanas Zabužko jaunākā grāmata „Visgarākais ceļojums” Kristapa Vecgrāvja tulkojumā. Grāmatas atklāšanas svētkos tikāmies ar tās autori. Grāmatas atvēršanas svētkos sarunas ritēja galvenokārt angļu valodā, jo ukraiņu rakstnieces Oksanas Zabužko grāmatas „Visgarākais ceļojums” atvēršana bija pulcējusi  starptautisku auditoriju. Lai gūtu ieskatu grāmatas oriģinālajā tekstā un  tulkojumā, nelielu fragmentu lasīja pati autore savukārt tulkojumu aktrise Baiba Broka. Grāmatu no ukraiņu valodas tulkojis Kristaps Vecgrāvis. Oksana Zabužko, nevēloties nogurdināt ar garu lasījumu, bet, lai dzirdam valodas skanējumu, iesāk ar grāmatas ievadu - Priekšvārda vietā. Sieviete ar ceļasomu. Iepazīstinot ar savu grāmatu un atklājot, kas to rosinājis, Oksana Zabužko aizrautīgi stāsta: „Būtībā grāmata ir eseja, kas paskaidro mana itāļu izdevēja trako ideju sniegt kultūras un vēsturiskos kontekstus par šo karu, par kuru Rietumos ir visai miglains priekšstats. Tāds bija mana starptautiskā aģenta lūgums apmēram vienu nedēļu pēc Krievijas iebrukuma, kad es iestrēgu Polijā bez sava datora, ar mazo ceļasomu, un visu laiku to vien darīju, kā runāju. Pat ja es būtu kvalificēta vēsturniece, kaut ko šādu nedarītu,  man nav pieejama mana bibliotēka, mana bibliotēka ir Kijivā un tā tagad tiek bombardēta. Mana pozīcija ir īpaša, maigi izsakoties.”  „Visgarākais ceļojums” rakstīts  hibrīdmemuāru formā, kur trāpīgas personiskas atmiņas savijas ar kritisku analīzi un vēsturisko fonu. Tālāk rakstniece min, kas tik nav noticis pagātnē, ko piedzīvojuši mūsu vecāki un vecvecāki, taču  tagad mēs dzīvojam 21.gadsimtā. Bet vai kaut kas ir mainījies? Kopš Krievijas iebrukuma Ukrainā Zabužko bez apstājas turpina publiski skaidrot kara kontekstu, Ukrainas un Krievijas attiecību vēsturi un Krievijas imperiālās ambīcijas. Viņa ir uzstājusies Eiropas parlamentā, un daudzviet Eiropā. Arī, esot Rīgā, rakstniece uzsver, ka skaidrojot un stāstot  ir veids kā  viņa cīnās un aizstāv savu valsti. Oksana Zabužko ir rakstniece, dzejniece, eseju autore. Starp citu,  viņas pirmais romāns, kas iznāca 1996.gadā, „Lauka pētījums ukraiņu seksā”, kurā Ukrainas vēsture skatīta caur mazohisma, vardarbības, pakļaušanas prizmu, izraisīja pretrunīgu kritiķu reakciju, taču  kļuva par pirmo bestselleru neatkarīgajā Ukrainā un atzīta par grāmatu, kas neatkarības gados atstājusi vislielāko iespaidu uz Ukrainas sabiedrību. Romānā „Pamesto noslēpumu muzejs” (2009) stāstījums vērpjas trijos vēsturiski nozīmīgos laikposmos – Otrā pasaules kara laikā, kur cīnījās Ukrainas Sacelšanās armijas, septiņdesmitajos un divtūkstošajos gados. Arī man iespēja uzrunāt rakstnieci un, kad  pieminu viņas dzimšanas dienu, kas ir tieši jaunākās grāmatas atvēršanas diena Rīgā, Oksana Zabužko nosaka, jā, jā apsveikumi telefonā pienāk. Kad sanākušajiem ir iespēja uzdot rakstniecei jautājumus, izskan arī pateicības vārdi no klāt esošajiem ukraiņiem. Oksana Zabužko ir Ukrainas kultūrdomas un humānās domas vēstnese Eiropā, tā uzskata ne tikai ukraiņi, bet  arī  grāmatas tulkotājs Kristaps Vecgrāvis, kurš atklāj savas domas par grāmatas saturu un tulkošanas specifiku. Kristaps Vecgrāvis līdz šim nav ticies ar rakstnieci,  tāpēc grāmatas atvēršana ir īstais brīdis, lai aprunātos, jo tulkošanas procesā autori nav traucējis. Oksanas Zabužko eseja „Visgarākais ceļojums” iznāk Latvijas Laikmetīgās mākslas centra tulkojumu sērijā un grāmatas atvēršana iekļauta festivāla „Survival Kit” programmā. Grāmatas atklāšanas nedēļā notika vēl divi pasākumi, kuros piedalījās Oksana Zabužko. Valodu mājā - saruna „Sieviete karā”, savukārt „Survival Kit” publiskajā programmā saruna „Karš pret pasauli: Krievijas iebrukums Ukrainā un tā ekoloģiskās sekas”.

Abstract: Humans daily life is characterized by a succession of voluntary actions. Since energy resources are limited, the ability to invest the appropriate amount of effort for selecting and executing these actions is a hallmark of adapted behavior. Recent studies indicate that decisions and actions share important principles, including the exchange of temporal resources when the context requires it. In the present study, we test the hypothesis that the management of energy resources is shared between decision and action too. Healthy human subjects performed a perceptual decision task where they had to choose between two levels of effort to invest in making the decision, and report it with a reaching movement. Crucially, motor difficulty gradually increased from trial to trial depending on participants' decision performance. Results indicate a relatively mild impact of the increasing motor difficulty on the choice of the non-motor (decision) effort to invest in each trial and on decision performance. By contrast, motor performance strongly decreased depending on both the motor and decisional difficulties. Together, the results support the hypothesis of an integrated management of energy resources between decision and action. They also suggest that in the context of the present task, the mutualized resources are primarily allocated to the decision-making process to the detriment of movements. Koun, a Lebanese NGO, started operating in 2018 in refugee camps and community centres across the country, and was registered in January 2020. Koun aims at promoting mental health, empowerment and peace in marginalized communities in Lebanon through Yoga. Yoga is an ancient body-mind practice and an efficient psychosocial support activity that works on every aspect of one's being. Each yoga activity focuses on enhancing the practitioner's self-awareness while releasing their muscular, mental and emotional tensions, leading to an enhanced psychological state. Sandy Boutros, a Lebanese activist and yoga instructor, founded her non-profit Koun to promote mental health and total well-being in the most disadvantaged communities in Lebanon through Yoga. She believes that yoga should be accessible to everyone regardless of age, race and social class. Viesturs Kairišs atklāj, ka tā bija nepieciešama, jo divus gadus teātrī mājos ar Latvijas Nacionālais simfoniskais orķestris. Teātra arhitekts Reinis Liepiņš ir paredzējis šo stikla sienu un skatītāji varēs arī redzēt, kā orķestris strādā. Pagaidām tur notiek Mazās zāles izrādes, jo, veicot Mazās zāles pārbūvi, teātrī top Jaunā zāle. Tas prasīs vēl kādu gadu? Protams, teātris vēlētos veidot iestudējumu kopā ar LNSO, ja reiz teātrī dzīvos arī orķestris. Veiktas izmaiņas arī teātra Lielajā zālē. Piemēram, jaunā skaņu sistēma ļauj sekot aktierim, uzlabota arī gaismu sistēma. "Es joprojām nesaprotu gadsimtu vaimanas par slikto zāli," komentē Viesturs Kairišs. "Te var tā realizēt idejas!" Skatītāji ir atgriezušies teātrī un nav tikai tā, ka skatītājiem ir vajadzīgs teātris, arī aktieriem ir vajadzīgi skatītāji un ne tikai kā patērētāji. Toms Veličko atklāj, ka viņš pēdējā laikā ir piedalījies izrādēs, kur tieši aktieri aplaudē skatītājiem pateicībā, ka viņi ir atgriezušies teātrī. "Tajā brīdī, kad skatītājs ierodas, pati izrāde nostājas savās vietās, maina ritmu, tempu, sajūtu lielumu. Aktieri spēlē ar citu atdevi. Tas ir neaprakstāmi. Sajūtas ir grūti izteikt, vienkārši - milzīgs paldies, ka beidzot tā ir," gandarīts aktieris.
