Choksi is wanted by the CBI and Enforcement Directorate in the ₹13,000 crore Punjab National Bank fraud case. He had been residing in Antwerp on a residency card after previously living in Antigua and Barbuda. Earlier this year, India, via the Ministry of External Affairs, formally requested Belgium to extradite him. Choksi's wife, Preeti, holds Belgian citizenship, and the legal process for extradition is now underway.Accused Child Murderer Shot Dead in Karnataka EncounterRitesh Kumar, a 35-year-old migrant labourer from Patna, was killed in a police encounter in Hubballi, Karnataka, after being accused of murdering a five-year-old girl. Police suspect the child was also raped, though a post-mortem report is awaited. The incident occurred when Kumar allegedly tried to attack police while attempting to escape. He was shot in the leg and back, then declared dead at a local medical college. Kumar had been working in the city for 2–3 months. Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the child's death.Fresh Death Threat Sent to Salman Khan via WhatsAppBollywood actor Salman Khan received another death threat early Sunday through a message sent to the Mumbai police traffic department's WhatsApp number. In addition, REFM's self-study products, Excel-based templates and its Valuate® property valuation and investment analysis software are used by more than 100,000 professionals. Mr. Kirsch's firm has assisted with modeling for the raising of billions of dollars of equity and debt for individual property acquisitions and developments, as well as for major mixed-use projects and private equity funds. Mr. Kirsch has also maintained a blog on real estate financial modeling, Model for Success, authoring more than 500 posts, and he is the co-author of Real Estate Finance and Investments: Risks and Opportunities, along with Dr. Peter Linneman. Mr. Kirsch began his real estate career at CB Richard Ellis, where he marketed highrise New York City office buildings for re-development in the Midtown Manhattan Investment Properties Institutional Group. Separately, Lebanon's militant group Hezbollah announced Sheikh Naim Kassem as the successor to the late leader Hassan Nasrallah, who died in an Israeli airstrike last month. Výsledkom tak len na území vtedajšieho Slovenska bolo 71 168 osôb odsúdených za politické delikty, 8 240 osôb v táboroch nútenej práce , 5 135 vojakov pomocných technických práporov (PTP), 4 739 osôb (1 838 domácností) v rámci Akcie B – presídlených z väčších miest na vidiek. Český Úrad dokumentace a vyšetřování zločinů komunismu (ÚDV) v roku 2006 zverejnil údaje o 4 495 osobách, ktoré zomreli v komunistických väzniciach v rokoch 1948 – 1989.Ján Havlík síce neskonal v komunistikom väzení, ale na následky jedenástich rokov, počas ktorých fáral v uránových baniach v okolí Příbrami a Jáchymova. Popri neľudských podmienkach tejto práce je zadokumenotvané jeho ťažké fyzické i psychické týranie v najobávanejšej väznici režimu v Prahe na Pankráci. „Režim ho prepustil po jedenástich rokoch väzby z obavy z možného úmrtia a následnej hrozby fámu mučeníctva“, hovorí Neupauer. Ján Havlík potom na slobode prežil s podlomeným zdravím už len tri roky a skonal doslova na ulici cestou k lekárovi len 37 ročný.
